Vampire Reporter 6 Episode 6- New Clothes New Me

I entered my apartment. I shut my door and slowly walk to my sofa. I go to fall asleep when someone knocked on my door. I sit up as soon as I heard it. I walk slowly toward it and look through the peep hole. Nathan stood there with some food with him. 'What did he want?' I open the door and let him in.

He laid the food on the counter as I shut the door.

"I got you some food for losing your job." he said as he took out the food. He had pizza and a chocolate cake.

"How did you know this was my favorite?" I ask wondering what his answer is.

"Well I guessed really." He said awkwardly.

"Sure..." I grabbed the food and put it on a plate. Than it comes to my mind. 'How did he know I lost my job?' I quickly ask him, "Nathan how did you know I lost my job?"

His face expression looked like he seen something that he didn't want to see.

So I asked again, "Nathan, or should I say Cian, how did you know I lost my job?"

His face expression now looked like he was about to yell. "Don't.....call me that"

"Well tell me how you knew? Now!" I ordered.

"FINE! I made you loss your job!"

"What?" I was angry and hurt. But more angry. "You...you...got me fired?"

"Yes. But not to hurt you. It was to help you" he came closer to me.

I took a step back. "How could you?"

"It was to protect you. If you kept going to your job he would of found you and he would of killed you." He signed. "If you got hurt I would be hurt. I couldn't have lived with my self if he hurt you."

"You had no right to do that. And because of you I lost the most important thing in my life which was my fucking JOB!" I yelled pissed.

"You sound just like her." He said in a low voice.

"What was that?" I demand.

"Nothing" he said looking at the ground.

"Nathan! Tell me?" I say walking closer to him.

"Your mother! You sound just like her!" He yelled harshly.

My eyes widened. 'My mother? Cerberus said my mother was alive earlier. So was it true?'

"Nathan....how...how...did you know my mom?" I asked curious.

"She.....well.....she is one of us."

"My mother?" I say surprised. I knew if I acted dumb he wouldn't know that Cerberus already told me. Even though I was angry at him I still didn't want him to get in trouble.

"Listen just forget about it. I said to much." He walked toward the door.

I ran as fast as I could to the door. I stood in front of him. "If my mother is one of you than....than take me to her." I say looking straight at him. 'I knew he would take me. Even if Cerberus wouldnt.'

"It's too dangerous"

"I don't care. I want to know why all this is happening. Plus you owe me big time for making me get fired." I say harshly.

"Ambrose...please don't make me" he looked me in my eyes.

"Nathan you owe me" I say not looking away from him.

"Okay, but I tried to warn you."

I smile a little and he opens the door. I walk behind him. But he stops.

"You're not going like that." He looks at me up and down.

"What wrong with my outfit?" I ask looking down at my clothes.

"They will tell if you are human. So we need to get you new clothes." He walks passed me and grabs my purse. He than pulls out some money.

"Here. We need to go shopping." He walks back to the door. "Lets go" he than went out the door.

"Okay I guess." I say walking through the door and shutting it.
