While I’m pretty sure most of you already know, Walter refers to himself with “boku” which is a masculine pronoun to refer to oneself.

And yeah, for those that still haven’t caught on, he’s male.

Thus, in order to not leave any grudges behind, both of them decided to have a duel.

Herrschaft seems to be a fire and wind type mage, I thought it would be hard for her to duel a vanguard but…

With that being said, she accepted the duel.

Different from PK’ing, duels have no effect whenever you win or lose.

There’s no death penalty even if you lose, you’ll just recover your health to full like it was before the duel started.

However, the battle count is carved in your status, so for those that hate to lose, they’d look at that numerical value with bitter eyes.

It was announced that there would be an arena and PvP ranks, it’s unrelated to what’s going on right now, but it seems that the rank will change depending on your wins and loses once it’s implemented.

A circle formed so other players wouldn’t be able to get in their way, inside that circle, Tobi and Herrschaft were facing each other.

「If I win, you’ll refer to me with my player name from now on!」 (Herrschaft)

「If I win, you’ll treat Walter-dono more gently! Your attitude is quite intolerable!」 (Tobi)

Both of their demands are so modest…do they really have to fight?

In any case, there’s no choice but for them to fight now.

Both of them took out their weapons.

I looked at the battle next to Walter.

The Cicada technique would usually be a technique that leaves a substitute with clothes, but in TB it’s a technique that lets a substitute take 1 hit for you no matter how high the damage is.

Using this, light warriors have some insurance in battle even with their low defense…losing that already means that…he’s currently at a disadvantage.

Tobi’s remaining HP is about half, Herrschaft is uninjured by using the reach of her weapon to her advantage.

「Oh, Tobi managed to get in. Guess it’s turning into a proper fight now」 (Hind)

「Ojou-sama, look out!」 (Walter)

By purposefully twining the whip around one of his dual blades, he made a quick strike with that gap.

Tobi is probably confident that he won.

The strike that aimed at her neck made you think that…it would take away all of Herrschaft’s HP.

However, the damage stopped at 10% of her HP.

Tobi showed surprise. Herrschaft’s hand which was pierced deeply by the tanto languidly fell down and she smiled.

She quietly threw away the whip in her other hand and shot the chantless magic 「Fire ball」 into his stomach over and over.

Tobi’s slender figure rose to the air when it came in contact with the magic.

「Nuwah..!!!」 (Tobi)

Sadly, Tobi was fried leaving no traces behind…well not really, but smoke was coming out of his body.

The duel ended with Herrschaft’s victory and the battle field disappeared.

「Eh? Both of you are master and servant in…real life?」 (Tobi)

Once they both cooled their heads, we heard about the relationship between Herrschaft and Walter without any troubles.

Hearing that, it seems like Herrschaft is really a wealthy ojou-sama.

That appearance wasn’t role-play, huh…?

We climbed with the quest site as our goal.

The path was quite rough but well maintained, it’s nice that it’s easy to walk here.

The mayors in each place do give generic quests that anyone can take, but quest that give a 「Skill point book」 are a rare case.

In our case, it was only that quest where we had to escort Claris-san.

Even in the BBS 「Skill point books」 are so rare that people even doubt that they really exist.

「The quest this time is from Conrad, the mayor of Heathrow town. He took an interest in us as adventurers when we handed smuggling officials to them」 (Herrschaft)

「Corrupted officials? So the NPCs in TB even do that kind of actions. Eh…」 (Hind)

They the type of NPCs we wouldn’t get to meet because of the way we play.

To begin with, let alone government officials, we haven’t even met the mayors yet.

This is going through my head though, this straightforward impression…doesn’t it remind me of someone I meet every day…? Is it just me?
