We have safely returned home, after successfully conquering a Labyrinth. I’m honestly happy that the whole party managed to return in one piece.

However, another predicament has already been thrown at me as I sat down in a troubled thinking posture.

Noru and Estel’s reactions felt like they were poking fun about me. Have I always been so strange in their eyes?

Maybe it’s because of my time together with Shisuha back in the Labyrinth, as she was more concerned about my physical well being. I got her to heal the whole party after we got out of the Labyrinth, so I’m pretty sure I don’t have any injuries.

[sigh… What did the Gacha ever do to you, for you to have such a serious expression on your face.]

[Well, it’s Onii-san we’re talking about. I suspected it to be Gacha related, but his expression seems heavier than usual.]

[So… There’s really nothing for us to be worried about. Speaking of which, wasn’t there that notification about the Gacha after we conquered the Labyrinth? What was it again, Complete Gacha?]

It was this very notification after we conquered the Labyrinth, of the Complete Gacha. This was the cause of my worries.

Complete Gacha―― a form of Gacha that gave the player Rare rewards, but only after you pulled and obtained all of the specified items from the given Gacha pool.

Just from that description alone, one would normally think “Hey this is awesome, I can get extra stuff while I rolled the Gacha as usual”.

[So, just how bad is this Gacha for it to make you have that kind of expression?]

[Well, there’s a wide variety(of Gacha) in my world, but this type was so incredible that it had to be regulated.]

[For it to be regulated… Was it really that bad?]

I don’t know the specifics, but this type of gacha ended up needing to be regulated, after causing various problems.

Even then after years of regulation, this type of Gacha still received a lot of flak. That’s how much of a hot topic this Gacha was.

[I did dabble in it once and it most certainly was a dreadful Gacha experience… Surviving on only beansprouts was intense.]

[I, I don’t really get it, but it certainly sounds like an incredible Gacha.]

This was something that happened long enough ago that it gives me nostalgic vibes. It was back then when I was playing another game before my foray into GC, it was there where I had my fateful encounter.

This Gacha cornered me so much that I had to pay back what I spent through installments, from overusage of my Magic(credit) card.

At first I pulled a handful of the items with 10k yen, that gave me the illusion of “Eyy this ain’t that bad” and by the time I was done the amount that I had spent swelled to way over 100k yen.

My spending habits were already sorta bad back then, so that expenditure at the time cut right into my food expenses, leaving me with only bitter memories.

[If it was that traumatizing, are we passing on the Gacha this time?]

[As much as I want to do that… ahー, this management behind this is just so…]

Honestly I want to give this Gacha a hard pass. I don’t exactly feel comfy with our stock of just 914 manastones.

However, the Complete Reward is causing my heart to waver.

Complete Reward――UR Luna・Varad.

This single line has my heart in its grasp and is refusing to let go.

Not even I, was expecting them(the management) to actually set that Luna・Varad as the reward with such pinpoint timing….. Do they really want me to roll this Gacha that much?

I certainly was brought to this world via Gacha, but nobody would ever know that the Gacha that brought me here was one where I was trying to pull the very same unit from.

She was described as a fickle vampire, with an appearance similar to that of Estel. For me to have the chance to actually meet her in real life… it gives my body the shivers.

I don’t know the specifics about her abilities, but I remember reading on a forum somewhere, that she’s a unit with both close and long range attacks.

She would be a welcome addition to our party which currently lacks firepower.

[But but, isn’t this Gacha amazing? We can get a UR unit just from rolling it. In Okura terms it’d be something like “It’s a Free UR!”, is it not?]

[No, something sounds off about that logic. Did you eat something weird?]

[Wha!? O, Okurdono is the last person I’d expect to hear that from!]

Noru says something odd. When I refuted her, she puffs up in anger and flails her arms up and down.

If I miss this chance, there’s no telling when Lunchan will ever be picked up like this again. This might very well be the only time she’ll ever appear.

When I think of it this way, there’s no way I can pass on this. My soul is screaming at me to roll the Gacha.

When Shisuha heard my decision to roll, she crosses her arms and responds happily. As a fellow resident of the Gacha bog, she’s really reliable.

[Oh, that’s the stuff I want to hear! Alrighty Shisuha gets to go first again! Since she has only rolled once til now. We have enough to roll 18 times… there’s 4 of us so 2 of us gets 4 rolls each, and the other 2 gets 5 rolls?]

Noru lifted Mofutto up from her lap, and shoved it into my face. She didn’t want me forgetting the little critter, as she huffed enthusiastically.

This cute little fluffball has the best luck among us when it’s about rolling the Gacha, so I really shouldn’t forget about it.

We will be using 900 manastones for 18 rolls of the 11 consec on this Gacha. The girls get 4 rolls each, while I and Mofuto get 3.

[I’m happy that you are letting me roll more. But, I’ll refrain this time around. Onii-san, you can have 1 of my rolls instead.]

[Eeeh, are you sure?]

[Certainly. I’m just giving back what you gave me back then.]

After I announced how many times each person would be rolling, Estel proceeds to concede one of her rolls to me with a smile.

Wha, what is this… I wasn’t expecting that. I did give the girls priority when we rolled the Gacha previously, is this her way of returning the favor?

Seeing that she remembers the little things like this, It gives me this warm fuzzy feeling inside.

I told her that she didn’t have to, but she insisted, despite her own reluctance.

I decided to give a light response, and Shisuha does something similar to mine.

Estel then catches on to something here, as she tilts her head and stares at me and Shisuha. Her straight face scares me.

I frantically denied the accusations against me and Shisuha, and she affirms my response.

Noru defended herself from our advances with both her hands, I then went “Hyahha!” and tried to pounce her, but I was intercepted by an anti-air dekopin.

Seeing how I ended up, Shisuha was quick to return to her seat… What a girl.

I pointed out the thing about placement, but Noru quickly dismisses me.

Having obtained one of the target items, the SR Prominence Finger, I gave Mofutto a big hug and a thorough rubbing as a reward. But Mofutto yelped at my overly excessive reward.

Shortly after, I got hit by another dekopin from Noru. It’s so powerful that I’m probably the only one here who can survive getting hit by it…

Noru retrieves Mofutto from me, where it whimpers in her embrace. She really has become its owner now, since she is the one who grooms and feeds it all the time.

After that slight sidetrack, we continued to roll, and the results were 1 gold and 1 white chest.

It almost felt like my life flashed past me, as I put all my feelings and emotions into my fingertip.

My finger propelled towards the 11 consec button with all my hopes and dreams behind it, all the while when the girls were all surprised at my sudden outburst.

The display on my smartphone changed, to show that the last of our manastones have been used.

As I shook in joy, I tapped the screen once more to show what I just got.

[HIs brain couldn’t handle the shock… How sad.]

Noru had to give me a full nelson from behind, to stop me from mashing the smartphone. I continued struggling regardless, but was unable to break free from her clutch.

We have managed to get workable results with the gacha thus far. But, is giving up our only choice this time?

I then racked my now calm head for a solution, and then I remembered a certain something.

There’s 6 days until this Gacha expires. I did find it strange that this Gacha didn’t have a more limited duration, could it be that this possibility was taken into account from the very start…?

Not counting today, there are still 5 more days…. is doing “that” the only way?
