The 8 and 9 years old Nash and Rajikk is grinning at Shou, indicate that they understand it.

When Shou and the others are searching for the source of the voice, they found Miya standing behind their back while smiling.

Salim quickly leave while being followed by Nash and Rajikk.

Since this is the perfect opportunity, Shou tries to ask his doubt to Miya.

“Does Shou not have any sword practice?”

Miya laugh since Shou didn’t run away like his elder brother which make it quite strange

“Rather than practice, i have some question for Miya. Is it okay to spare a bit your time for that?”

Miya is quite worried about Shou who just came back from Rashindo residence hence why she came here. They sit at the some for a bit of talking.

“Why did Miya became father’s first wife? isn’t being the first wife makes you busy. Mother dresses up gracefully even after giving birth, while the first wife Hermia is busy with work. Hermia is the one who manage the Rashindo mansion, even assist mother and the other wive with their child. Isn’t Miya too having a hard time because father occasional absence?”

Shou start to lean to Miya small body, she smile wryly to a question regarding Southeast marriage system.

“ara, Shou. I too before married also have a children you know?”

….Miya have a child !?….

Shou thought that Miya did not have any child and this information made him shock as shocked as when he learnt that he wasn’t Miya’s child.

“Where’s your child right now?”

“The girl already married, and the boy already became independent,
when one age turn into 15, you have to become independent”

Shou start to think about Miya’s age, when she married father, her child must be still young

“After the child left, did you marry father?”

I would be at lost if you think that the gentle Miya left her child.

Miya have to be careful explaining to this five year old about why her mother chose Rashindo-sama and the fact that Aslan has forgotten about the existence of Ruby.

“Well it seem, Ruby-sama doesn’t like Aslan-sama that always go without news and chose to be with Rashindo sama for hopping a better live. While Rashindo sama tend to go away for work but it’s less frequent and less busy than Aslan-sama and he doesn’t have many wife too.”

……..it seem there is so many wife inside the inner palace…

“Shou, the woman’s life in the southeast island roughly can be separated into two.
Most people get married and aim at the second wife of the partner, but there is also woman who want to marry because she want the job”

“Does Miya want to do the job?”

“Yes, that also one of the reason i want to became the first wife. Since there is no guarantee that you will do well if you aim to became the first wife, and even if you aim to became the first wife, there is a possibility that your partner isn’t suited for you”

Since Shou see that father always relax when Miya is around, maybe because they are a good partner in life with each other

…….There are parts that i still don’t understand, they want to have a child and work? is woman system that convenient? either give birth to a kid or became the first wife and work while help Raising the kid….

Shou asked another question.

“Miya, do I have to marry when I’m 15? and become independent while having a ship and working in trading?”

Miya was quite hesitant to answer because she knows that Shou doesn’t have any backing which made him hard to have a ship.

“Usually people from the age of 12 will start to saving money for 3 year.
Buys a small ship and marry, because Shou is a prince there is another problem.

This kind a talk may a bit too heavy for a child, but since you are the son of King Aslan it’s better for you to know”

Miya tries to explain to show who have a complicated position.

“Hmm, from now on since i am father’s son i need to research about merchant who wants to make connection with father. Since i don’t have any support i have to be careful to not being manipulated. But, is father that worried?”

Miya quite surprised seeing Shou who still a child to be able act calmly after knowing his situation even though he is the son of Aslan.
After hearing Miya explanation, Shou started to think about his future since unlike his brother, his grandfather is just a chief from small island hence he doesn’t have any backing.

“Salim-aniue grandfater is close with Rashindo-sama right.Hassan-aniue grandfather is a big merchant too. Karin-aniue grandfather is the minister of military affair Zahan. Nash and Rajikk aniue grandfather is…a merchant isn’t it…and it seem i don’t quite fit to became a merchant or soldier and it seem to became a beautician in this world is out of option, i wonder what should i do when i’m 15 year old. At least once i want to go to the island where mother came from. It may be good to live comfortably by catching a fish, … ….. but it doesn’t sound like what a prince do.”

When Miya hear what Shou thinking, somehow she became depressed.
But, Shou himself has the ability of wind magic, the other prince may aiming for that.

The slow life that Shou hope in the island where Ruby’s hometown is rejected from the very beginning.
