Su Ye finished counting the long catalog. His mental state nearly crumbled.

There was a buzz in his head. He felt like his skull was about to explode.

He had thought that the education system on the Blue Star was terrifying enough, but compared to the Plato Academy where they were expected to complete fifty-five courses in a year, his previous education might as well have been a preschool.

And this was just the second year. Who knew how many more classes he would have to take next year. Would he have to take a hundred classes during his final year?

The first was that he was too tired.

He lowered his head and saw that his thumb and index finger had approached each other, but they hadn't made contact.

“I still need to practice. I've let this mountain of classes rattle me, which has made me forget the habits I've developed over the years.”

Sometime later, Su Ye once again asked the famous question by Alan Lakein. It was the same question he had asked himself many times over the years.

“What's the most important thing that I should be doing at this point in time?”

“Studying?”

“I need another option!” Su Ye roared in his heart.

Su Ye had suffered an unprecedented setback. Something burned in his chest, like there was a ball of flames under his ribs.

Su Ye suddenly closed his eyes and started to breathe deeply. He set aside his attempts to plan, his chaotic thoughts, the decisions that needed to be made. He focused his senses on the tightness in his chest, allowing his mind to explore the sensation in great detail.

He focused on his body.

Slowly, Su Ye's breathing got steadier.

Not long after, he opened his eyes again. His gaze was clear.

“What should I be doing at this point in time?”

“Hmm… I understand.”

Su Ye flipped open the spellbook and changed the setting so that only he could see its contents. He then started writing and drawing in the book.

Su Ye finally heaved a long, comfortable sigh after half of the lesson had passed.

“Most of the things that the original Su Ye could have learned are lost to me, but the knowledge that I transferred over from my past life can still be used.”

Su Ye had begun to make sense of things. Not only had his eyes become clearer, but a new sense of purpose seemed to glow within them.

“I now have a direction and a goal. Now that I have ascertained my identity and reviewed my situation thoroughly, I have to start scaling up from the bottom.”

Su Ye once again flipped open the curriculum. The corner of his lips twitched slightly, but it instantly returned to normal.

“If I want to pass, I have to be extremely clear about the rules of the exams at Plato Academy.”

Su Ye started flipping through the explanation regarding the examinations. He heaved a sigh of relief after he finished reading the explanation. It seemed like the inhumane teachers of Plato Academy also knew that it was unrealistic to make every student grasp all of this knowledge. Thus, they had set up many different methods that students could use to pass.
