Jade hugged her to the point that she couldn't stop smiling.

“We haven't seen each other for a few days.”

It makes her crazy that Jade thinks as if they haven't seen each other for months.

Jade's face slightly stepped back.

“What? Didn't Ruri miss me? I don't even want to part with her even for a day.”

“No. I was so sad that I couldn't see you, Jade.”

Jade's mood enlightened, his face screams that he was satisfied when she hurriedly denied it.

He hugged her tightly again.

“A spirit?”

Jade asked half doubting.

“Yes, its the earth spirit king that was contracted with the First Dragon King.”

When Jade heard of it, he was amazed.

“Since I formed a contract with Lydia, he went to me to see. He formed a contract with me in the process.”

“… It's not easy to contract with a spirit. Yet it seemed to be so easy with Ruri.”

“They all go to contract as if it was a bargain sale.”

Ruri thought of the first time she formed a contract.

Leaving Kotaro aside, the one she gave a name unknowingly. Rin suddenly appeared begging for a name to be given. Then Lydia and Kai, they freely did the contract without permission.

A real bargain.

It's fortunate that she hadn't felt uncomfortable about forming contract.

Rather, it was a feast in the eyes the more pet she acquired.

Ruri was a little concerned with Kai's bad eyesight, but once she gets used to it he'll be just as cute.

He would be cuter like when she got used to Kotaro's body.

Kai finally woke up.

He's still a little bit out of it as he got up slowly.

“Kai come on. Here's Jade the Dragon King.”
