The Rise Of The Strongest Tyrant 20 To The Capital!

All three goblins were in close proximity of Liya, so she wasn't worried that either one of them would get close to any one of her escortees. Two goblins charged at them while the last one charged at her.

Taking a few quick steps to the right, Liya intercepted the two goblins rushing at her escortees and they shouted out.

"Human! *Kikiki!* Kill!"

"Kill! *Kikiki!*"

Smashing her right foot down, Liya used the skill, <> by spending 10 wrath, hitting them both for the same amount of damage, <<-1,250>> which was more than enough to kill them both. A few notification messages flashed.

"Amazing! She killed them as easily as slaughtering the chickens!" Faiy couldn't help but shout out as her eyes lit up and began shining with excitement and a broad smile appeared on her face as the hero was even stronger than what she imagined. And for the first time in many years, a feeling of safety returned to her. The same feeling that her father and her mother gave her. The same feeling that she had lost when the goblins attacked her village, slaughtered her people and killed her parents.

The middle-aged man from the first group who was standing by Faiy's side slowly nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah," he said in a barely audible voice.

As Liya turned around, she heard a goblin's shout, "Human! Kill! *Kikiki!* *Kikiki!*" She hastened herself and fully turning around, she saw the last goblin run into her melee range. She slashed down with her two-handed sword in her left hand, <>. The goblin fell down to the ground, dead and a few notification messages flashed.

Faiy ran out to Liya with a broad smile on her face while raising her right arm above her head. "Liy—" she shouted out, waving her raised right arm, but cut her words short, widened her eyes, slightly opened her mouth, stopped and lowered her raised right arm as she saw Liya plunge her right hand into the goblin's chest.

Scavenging the first, the second, the third and the fourth goblins' cores, Liya turned in the direction of where her groups of escortees were standing and she saw Faiy staring at her with widened eyes and slightly opened mouth.

'What she's so surprised about? She should have seen the goblin corpses in the town.' Walking up to Faiy, Liya said, "Is everything okay?"

Faiy shook her head and her eyes returned to normal. "I was curious as to why the goblins had holes in their chests, but now I know," she said and then asked, "But why did you make those holes?" She was curious to know as to why would the hero make holes in the goblin corpses. Was there a reason for it or was the hero just weird like that.

"Just scavenging the cores in their chests."

Faiy tilted her head questioningly. "Scavenging cores?"

"Monsters have cores in place of hearts. And by shattering these cores, I gain the energy of those core."

Faiy nodded her head in understanding. "I see."

Returning to the group with Faiy, Liya looked over everyone and frowned as she saw that a few were missing from the group. "There are two of you missing. The mayor and the middle-aged man. Where are they?"

The middle-aged woman from the fifth group walked up to Liya. "They ran off."

Nodding her head in understanding, Liya said, "I see. Let's continue."

All the fifteen escortees frowned. Faiy furrowed her eyebrows

"We are going without them?" A middle-aged man from the fourth group said.

"That's right. I will only protect those who wish to be protected. They ran off, which to me is a pretty clear sign that they don't want to be protected by me. Now let's go," Liya said as she looked over the fifteen escortees before thinking, 'That said, if it was Faiy, a child, my friends or someone from my family that ran off, I would chase them down and drag them along if I had to.'

The fifteen escortees slowly nodded their heads as they couldn't fight against Liya's reasoning.

Faiy closed her and slowly nodded her head as she wanted to listen to Liya's, to the hero's decisions. But she snapped her eyes open the next moment and shook her head. "We have to find them and take them with us, because if we don't, they will die!"

Turning her head to Faiy, Liya said, "No."

Faiy frowned. "Why not?!" she shouted out.

"There are several reasons, but the most important one is that they decided to run off by themselves."

"The mayor shouted out for everyone to run for their lives, Joshua like the idiot he is just listened to him," the middle-aged woman from the fifth group said.

"I heard that too," the middle-aged man from the fourth group said.

"Me too." The middle-aged woman from the fourth group said.

"Me as well," the middle-aged man from the third group said.

The other escortees from the fourth to the second group voiced out their agreement.

Nodding her head in understanding, Liya moved her head to Ryan, "Go back in the town's direction, find those two and ask them to come with you. If they refuse to come bring Joshua by force, you can leave the old man behind."

"*Woof!*"

Ryan turned around and dashed off in the direction of the town.

The fifteen escortees bowed their heads. "Thank you, hero!" they shouted out in unison.

Faiy bowed her head. "Thank you, Liya."

Moving her eyes across the fifteen bowing middle-aged escortees and bowing Faiy, Liya said, "It won't happen again. If you run off, then you are on your own."

"Yes, hero!" the fifteen middle-aged escortees shouted out in unison, still bowing their heads.

"Yes, Liya," Faiy said, still bowing her head.

Half an hour passed and Ryan returned with two men on his back, one middle-aged and another one old.

Faiy sighed with relief.

The fifteen middle-aged escortees surrounded them, but before the fifteen middle-aged escortees could exchange even a few words with the mayor and Joshua, Liya shouted out, "Form the groups, we are leaving!"

Three days passed during which they encountered 729 goblins which Liya had killed and scavenged. She levelled up her tyrant to <> and summoner to <>. Ryan levelled up to <>.

Faiy suddenly turned her head to the right, in the direction of the distant forest.

Glancing at Faiy, Liya said, "Is that where your home used to be?"

Faiy turned her head from the forest in the right to the road ahead and slowly nodded her head.

"Want to make a deal?"

Faiy turned her head to Liya and tilted her head questioningly. "What deal?"

Turning her head to Faiy, Liya said, "I will help you get your revenge, and in exchange, you will become mine."

"Become yours?" Faiy said with her head still tilted questioningly.

"You will go where I go. Fight what I fight. Do what I tell you to do."

Faiy's eyes began shining with excitement. She hastily nodded her head as she said, "I accept."

A notification message flashed.

Three more days passed during which they encountered 743 goblins which Liya had killed and scavenged. She levelled up her tyrant to <> and summoner to <>. Ryan levelled up to <>.

Tall walls that reached all the way up to the sky appeared in the distance.

'We are here! No, something is wrong!'

Ryan took an aggressive stance and started angrily barking at the distant walls, "*Woof!* *Woof!* *Woof!*"
