Ryan's skills window opened.
< < < < << Spirit Beast Passive Skill, Spirit Beast Soul: Fox, Intellect and Magical Strike Strike Chance and Magical Critical Strike Damage is increased by 50%>> < < < < < 'It is good that Ryan uses Strength and Dexterity for skill damage, but it isn't good that he won't receive my attributes as I am sure that no matter how many attribute points he receives from levelling up, it won't come close to 25 attribute points that I receive from one level of Tyrant and Summoner. Attribute points aside, he gets immunity to magic effects, damage reduction and ancient quality weapons which seems will get upgraded at those levels. Very good.' Liya closed Ryan's skills and opened his character. < < < < < < 'Ryan is missing one attribute, but it's Charisma. So even if it wasn't missing, it wouldn't have made a difference.' Liya closed Ryan's window and the menu. She saw Ryan sitting on his buttocks and staring at her while slowly wagging his tail. "Let's go," she said and Ryan responded with a bark, "*Woof!*" To her left and to her right there were the walls made out of wood, directly above her was the ceiling made out of wood, but in front of her wasn't the destroyed door made out of wood, but the sun, shining brightly in the cloudless sky. 'Where did the house go in that time I spent in the basement and the spirit realm?' Liya thought confused and she placed her right leg on the first step of the stairs, and that first step creaked ten times louder than when she descended the stairs. Hearing this loud creak, she frowned and lowered her head, looking at the stair that her right foot was now resting on and that made that sound. 'I see now. That short time I spent in the spirit realm made more than a few years pass here.' Liya turned her head to Ryan. "Stay," she said in a commanding tone. "*Woof!*" Ryan barked, acknowledging her command. Liya slowly ascended the stairs, and each step she took made them creak so loudly that it seems that they would break. Ascending the stairs, she turned around, looking at Ryan who was at the bottom of the stairs. "Run up to me!" she shouted out. "*Woof!*" Ryan barked, acknowledging her command once again. Dashing up the stairs, each stair his foot landed on would break and fall down to the very bottom, but he still managed to get to the very top. "Good boy," Liya said and patted Ryan's head and he happily barked, "*Woof!*" Turning her head away from Ryan, Liya turned her head and looked around. But she only saw a few scraps of wood here and there, and nothing more. No farm fields, no house and no graves. 'It seems, I was right.' Liya turned towards the direction of the village. "Let's go, Ryan." "*Woof!*" Ryan barked and they walked off into the distance. Leaving the farm, Liya and Ryan walked for fifteen minutes in silence, but then Ryan suddenly barked, "*Woof!*" Turning her head to Ryan, Liya said, "What's wrong, boy?" "*Woof!* *Woof!*" Ryan barked a few more times as he walked out ahead of her as if he was trying to say something and Liya knew what he wanted immediately, she knew that Ryan wanted to show her something. "Alright, lead the way," she said and followed after Ryan. A few minutes later, a stench entered Liya's nostrils and she recognised this stench immediately, the stench of a rotting corpse. A frowning expression appeared on her face and she thought, 'A corpse in an open area like this?' Liya with Ryan walked a little more and they saw a corpse of a human man lying on his back, surrounded by his flesh and organs which were swarmed by flies. With opened eyes, but no eyeballs. With a bloated stomach, but with a huge gaping hole in it. A frowning expression appeared on Liya's beautiful face. 'Goblins here?' Ryan took an aggressive stance and started barking at the corpse. "*Woof!* *Woof!* *Woof!*" The human's corpse moved and out of it leapt out two goblins, mostly covered with blood. < <<350/350>> < <<350/350>> "Found human! *Kikiki!* Found Human!" "Human mine *Kikiki!* Mine!"
Chapter end
Leading Ryan across the room into the staircase, the blue orbs vanished from the basement into thin air and Liya raised her head to look where she was going to go, but as she raised it, she widened her eyes from surprise as she saw something that she wasn't supposed to see.
