“Just everyone's talking about it!”  “

“Amazing!”

Hearing Harriet's repeated compliments, Leona wanted to hide in a hole. What's with with him? Leona covered her face in her hands.

“You're going to be a great wizard.”

“She made a pillar of fire today.”

“Yes? A pillar of fire!”

Harriet looked at the emperor in surprise. The same with Leona

I told you not to tell anyone! Leona looked at the emperor with angry eyes, but he ignored it.  ‘Ahh i don't know anymore.' What's the use of living like this?

Leona raised her head with a sigh.

“Ah you surprised me!”

I lifted my eyes and saw the face of the Tower Master. Leona jerked back in surprise. The emperor's arm cut between them.

“What are you doing?” said the emperor, glaring at xeros. He raised his big eyes,  smiled and raised his head.

“You didn't call me to check the princess' magical power, so I'm trying to check it myself.”

He retreated and crossed his legs. His loose hair fluttered gently.

“Furthermore, I'll go ahead and make her my disciple if she's suitable.”
Disciple?  Leona blinked.

“Who?”

Everyone looked at Leona.  Leona opened her mouth wide in astonishment.

“I'll be the one getting taught?”

Harriet nodded. Leona cried out with arrogance.

“Are you sick?”

“I'm fine and so is the princess.”  Harriet again lifted his thumb and waved.

Disciple. It was nonsense. Then it's obvious  that you'll find out who I truly am.

“Ahh this is annoying, I haven't agreed to be your disciple yet.”

Xeros got caught up in Leona's words and laughed at them.

“You don't know if I'm qualified or not. Huh? Maybe ill just be your babysitter then.”

“Yes you will, I'm really looking forward to it”

Leona said to Xeros, clenching her chubby fists

‘Hm'. Xeros patted his chin and spat out a faint nasal tone. It was at that moment that his golden eyes glistened.
“Time Bind!”
Powerful mana washed in like waves. It was a hair-shaking stream. Time Bind, a high-level magic that binds and stops time temporarily. Leona looked around in a hurry. But it was already too late. Xeros raised himself up. Then he leaned his hands against the sofa where Leona was sitting.

“Who are you?” Leona, trapped in his arms, quickly rolled her head. You bastard, I think you know something. Leona tried to close her eyes with a big smile.

“I'm Leona!”‘

“Don't lie.”

“Sheesh.”  Damn it.  It doesn't work.

“I don't know what you're talking about.”

“That won't work. I know.”  Xeros talked with his face down close enough to hear her breathing. “The Hashis Empire took over the power of Eskinnim.”
“Wow, really?”

“So, the imperial royalty are the same, they have something in common.”
Gulp. Leona swallowed dry saliva.

“The colours of their souls  are all the same.”

“…”

“Except for you.”

‘Oh, man'. Leona frowned with a false smile on her face.

“How old are you?”

“Thwee!”

“Don't try to fool me any more.”

In the blink of an eye, Xeros  snatched Leona's chubby wrist. And quickly infused mana in her.  The golden mana seeped through her skin.

“Oh, I see,” said Xeros, twisting his wine stained lips, loosening his grasp around her wrist.

“About three hundred years old?”

‘Oh my God, the spirit locked in?' How did he know everything at once?

Even the emperor didn't recognise my power!

“Then, I… “

Xeros covered his red lips and whispered to me.

“Can I help you?”

Like a siren, who lures in a sailor, it was a sweet and attractive voice.

“I can only extract your soul if I have an empty body. If you don't like that, I can make it so that I can be the best in my current position.”

The meaning contained in it was also perfect.

“And how will you do that?”

Snapping, Leona grabbed the back of Zeros' hand.  Xeros' lips went up even further.  Of course, because he thought Leona would accept his offer.

“Electric Spark!”

The voice of the emperor rang in Leona's ears.

“Oh, my God, Hyuk,.” I pant trying to catch my breath. He didn't even use his mana, but I can't believe I'm being affected this much. I couldn't even feel how strong the emperor was. But Xeros was relaxed. It seemed as if he had never felt the power of the emperor. How strong is that human? And how weak am I? Damn it. I'm angry!

“I didn't do anything man.” said Xeros, who had laughed for a long time, wiping the tears on his eyes with his fingers.

The emperor's momentum grew stronger. I caught it.

“After all, your Majesty is strong.” Xeros scratched his head.

“But, wouldn't it be better to draw your strength first?”

The emperor's power was reaped before his words were over. The emperor looked at Leona with a bit of amazement, and then looked at Xeros again with a glance.

Xeros tilted his head to one side. Turning his hair over and letting out haughty laughter.

“Hey!”  Leona shouted hastily.  ‘Tell anyone about my age and you're dead.' Making a slicing motion on her neck with her fingers.

“…You will have to practice for a long time. Now, your mana control is weak.” Leona wore a satisfied smile with her arms crossed.  As a result, Zeros' dark eyebrows knit together ever so slightly..  He frowned in one eye and gazed at Leona.  It looked like he didn't like something.

He reached out to Leona.. A thin, long finger fumbled in the air.

She held her hands together, with a sulky expression.

“Yes, of course. We have to respect your wishes. Since you're all grown up. You shouldn't do anything you don't like. Right, Your Majesty?”

“….”

The emperor did not answer, but seemed to agree with Harriet. Xero's eyebrows wrinkled again. His splendid golden eyes flashed sending a chill down Leona's back

“Are you sure you want to refuse my offer?”

“Un!” (Says “웅.” sounds like ung meaning yes basically)

“Really?” Xeros bends down. He looks at Leona with his back facing  the others.

“Shall I tell on you?”

‘Ehhhh? This dog!' Leona grabbed him by the back of his neck. ‘I'll kill you if I find the real power.' Leona shuddered, squeezing her small hand.

“Alright”

“What? Really?” It was Harriet's voice, which was full of regret.

Hey, I don't like it either. Leona took a deep breath. “Then how many lessons should we have weekly?”

“Once.”

“All days!”

“Once.”

And then Leona stretched out her index finger and said,

“That's a little.” Xeroes smiled and shook his  head,

“Twice a week.”

“Three times a week.”

“One, two, three times a week.”

“Four times a week?” Leona glared at him, gritting her teeth.  However, he only smiled.  As if he was in control of this situation. That was correct.  Anyway, it was clear that Leona had to hide, and Xeros knew her secret.

“······Once a week.”  Eventually, Leona agreed.  okay.  As you say, this magic class  If you make time, you will be able to grow faster.  Then I will be able to reach my goal further.  Leona struggled to read herself and her head down.

“Okay, I will.”  Zeros raised his bent waist and swept his head.  “Is it okay, Your Majesty?”  The emperor's eyes then lifted.

“Don't lose strength, Princess!”  Harriet, who was there, also looked at Xeros.. His eyes were full of complex emotions.

Xeros raised his shoulders.

As Leona spoke,  the emperor's eyes, which were looking at Harriet admirably, cooled down.

Leona really couldn't understand these humans.

(1)- there was a line about xeros' help that literally made no sense so I removed it. Leona said Xeros help was medical care???
