The Princess is Evil Chapter 6

The Princess is Evil Chapter 6

The Princess is 3 years old

Fortunately, her time as a newborn passed quickly. It's been three years since I've come into this body. This means that at least I can move my arms and legs now. Now that I am three, I am no longer lying in the cradle and I can walk. I can also communicate now. Why did it have to be like this, seriously. But still, I am very big now. I am 3 years old!

“Oh, Miss, did you wake up?”

Lynn came in after opening the door and as soon as she saw me, her face lit up. Lynn approached me with dimples in her cheeks.

“Are you hungry? Just wash your face and I'll bring your meal right away.”

“Uhn. I'm hungry, but I also want tea.”

I don't know why, but Lynn suddenly stopped walking. My lips turned up.

“Are you hurt, Lynn?”

“No. It's just that the princess is too cute. “

“Moya.”

I can now talk proudly with my shoulders raised like that crazy emperor. I look like him and I am getting stronger like him as the days go on. Of course, compared to when I was a witch, this body is not great but it is not bad for a human.

“Ok then my cute little girl. Just let me help you.”

Lynn laughs as she pinches my cheek. Then she soaks a towel and wipes my face to my neck gently. The soft texture made my heart calm down.

“Oh, how my princess smiles so beautifully.”

Lynn stroked my chubby cheek with affection. Sometimes I think that I should trust this human but I shouldn't. Humans are a race which betrays you. The reason I smile at Lynn now is because I'm still a fragile 3 year old. It's not that I like her!

“Did you sleep well today? Was your dream ok?”

“I slept well. I didn't have any weird dreams.”

“Weird dreams?”

“People that are dead come out to see me.”

Lynn's hand stopped. When I lifted my face, I could see that she was speculating. I was confused but then I understood what she was thinking.

“Ah! Don't worry! I'm not scared by them.”

I'm a strong witch after all, I boasted to myself. But for some reason Lynn's face gets sterner.

“Cage!”

Lynn exclaimed as she opened the terrace door.

“Can I talk to you for a second?”

Lynn's voice is so sharp that Cage's face whitens.

“…no. I, I can't right now.”

“No? I have a lot to say. Follow me.”

Cage hesitated and pursed her lips. Then she sighed as if she had no choice but to listen. But why are you staring at me resentfully? I was curious to find out why Lynn demanded to speak with her.

“Cage-sama! Really!?”

Apparently they think that a 3 year old won't peek at them to listen from behind a door. Listening to their conversation wasn't difficult as they didn't even use mana to block their voices.

“Did I tell you to be careful in front of her or not?”

Cage had nothing to say. Despite her tall height she was standing still with her head down.

“Did you call the undead out in front of the princess or not? She's at an age where she should only see good things and laugh so why are you showing her such scary things? You're used to them so you're not aware how scary they are!”

Are the undead scary? I thought about it but, after all, they are weak and weak things aren't scary. There was something really scary if I think back…

'The emperor.'

Lynn never mentions him. In fact, I was curious. It is not because he is the biological father of this body. He was an emperor that was strong enough to defeat me.

'I will become stronger.'

My tension became high. My goal is to become the emperor of this empire. To do this, I will have to kill all the heirs and maybe even the emperor himself.

'Can I win?'

No, I don't know yet. To be precise, I need more power to beat him.

'I need to practice more,' I thought as I clenched my little fists.

“If you do it one more time I am going to get really mad! Do you understand?”

“It's crystal clear.”

“Now is not the time to talk further. I'll bring a meal. I'm hungry.”

“I'm also hungry.”

“Then let's go. This tray is too small to bring in more than 2 servings.”

Their voices get further away. Normally it is quite dangerous to leave me because the threat of assassination is everywhere but Cage is a competent necromancer. Assassins couldn't come into my room.

“Ooh woo.”

I turn my head towards the window as the leaves of a large tree shook. There was a black shadow. It must have been an assassin who couldn't enter because of the barrier.

'Would you want to try and open the barrier?'

I pondered for a moment. But I didn't worry for long. With two short legs, I slowly approached the balcony. The balcony is out of reach of the barrier so the assassin could come to me.

“Why did you leave your barrier?”

-huying!

A well-forged arrow flew past my cheek.

“If you were still in your room, you could have lived. Right, baby?”

The assassin was wearing black all over his body so all I could see was his dark eyes which flashed cruelly.

“As I've heard, it looks so cute. It will be a pity to kill it.”

The mask moved with his mouth as he spoke.

“Don't be afraid. It's easy to die. It will only hurt a little.”

I was still looking at him. Every time I moved my head, my long hair moved.

“Really?”

I grabbed the railing of the balcony.

“Are you strong?”

The assassin's eyes blinked slowly as he took in what I said.

“Haha! Are you asking me that now?”

“Uhn.”

“Yeah. I'm strong enough to kill you with one hand.”

“Well, so can I.”

With my concise answer, the assassin burst out laughing. I spread my arms wide.

“Ice.”

White chill came to my hands. The chilly mist was cooling the air.

“Bolt.”

The ice missile flew straight towards the assassin. He was hit because he was unprepared so he hardened as he turned into ice.

“This, this…”

The ice froze him from head to toe. His eyes were frozen wide open with a fearful look.

“Hum. It's weaker than I though.”

If it was with my previous ability, he would have died on the spot. But, maybe this is more interesting. Lightning bolts flash in my hands.

“Lightning bolt.”

The lightning flashes towards him. I was going crazy with my magic because it has been a long time since I've used it. This is fun. Thanks to my control, he is not dead yet but on the verge of dying. I approached him like that and the fear increased in his eyes.

“Heal.”

The white light from my hand touched his body. As soon as the light hit him, he began to recover quickly. Even the assassin seemed unable to understand what was going on.

“Are you healed now?”

The assassin looked between me and his body in amazement. Then he knelt quickly.

“Are you going to save me?”

When you realise your weakness, you become infinitely humble. Human beings should be more consistent. A beast is either consistently weak or consistently strong. I twisted my lips.

“Let's just make it easy.”

Just before the assassin noticed what I meant, I gathered a lightning bolt in my hand.

“Lightning bolt.”

I laughed loudly as I watched the lightning strike him. I felt refreshed.

Knock, knock. The door was opened.

“Are you sleeping again?”

Lynn asked as she laid down the breakfast that she brought. Cage also put down her tray beside Lynn but her expression was not good. She felt as if there was something strange in the room as she entered. She hurriedly rushes towards the window to check outside. There was a trace of mana in the air which felt like it had been moving violently. She approached the lady sleeping on the bed.

“Cage, why are you doing that?”

“Just wait a minute.”

Cage looked at Leona's body. Fortunately, there was no damage on her. She was just sleeping.

“I was mistaken.”

Cage felt concerned but, thankfully, Leona was fine. Short limbs were spread all over the place. Harriet, who was secretly watching Leona all the time, had said that she had grown so big. However, cage couldn't agree. Leona wasn't big. She was still a weak baby so there were countless of people targeting her. The average number of assassins that tried to kill her per day were three. The number of poisons that had been mixed into her food were even larger.

'I'll protect her.'

Cage clenched her fist as she stood alert next to Leona. In this imperial family, Leona only had her to protect her.
