The Overlord - Naruto Fanfiction (COMPLETED) Chapter 18: Mixed Feelings

Ryu finished making 6 Storage Seals, and wiped the sweat from his forehead,'Making seals in my mortal form is much harder than in my god form, at least I still have my 'Seal God' Infinite Path with me...'

He then started to put his stuff in one of the Storage Seals, which he made for himself, it obviously had more space than the rest, he fit over 100 shurikens and 200 kunais there, and a lot of dried food.

He also put a few bottles of water,in case they didn't have nearby water sources to drink from, and some clothes in case his current ones got torn to nothing. He also took a sword, which was his favorite one and put it in the storage seal.

He then shouted at his Kushina, who probably would've given birth by the time he returned," Kachan, I'm leaving the house!" Kushina smiled at him as he left through the door,"Was I also this excited when I went in my first C Rank Mission?" She asked Minato, who for the first time was home at morning.

"Yes, you did dear, I remember watching you with my team as you excitedly left the village, your excited shouts were heard from far away... Even at the training ground I was in, so yes." Minato replied with a chuckle, earning a weak punch by his wife, who was slightly blushing from the memories.

"Naruto was the same, when he and Yuki had to go to their first C Rank Mission, to save that snow princess, they were extremely excited, they didn't even know the deep details too." Kushina chuckled after a while ,wanting to shift the attention to her other son and only daughter.

That worked, as Minato started to laugh," I guess it runs down in the family, huh." He said with a chuckle. Kushina laughed a bit, before starting to blush even harder," It's not that... It's just that... I..." She tried to deny it but failed badly.

"You'll be sleeping on the couch today, Minato, no buts." She let out a cold sentence before snorting. Minato panicked inwardly," I didn't mean to-" Kushina grabbed him by his clothes and into their bedroom,"I need to let some steam out."

"But you are pregn-"

Minato realized what it was to anger a pregnant woman today. He both didn't and did like it.

Ken Uchiha groaned, he was still not close to fully maturing his sharingan, and was still stuck on the second tomoe, while the third required a lot of training, which he lacked due to his age. Emotional trauma would be needed to awaken it more quickly, but what was he supposed to do, kill his friend?

He washed his eyes, and prepared a bag with stuff, he carried a lot of stuff, because his friend promised to give him a Storage Seal, Ryu was a very talented man, making him very envious. He increased the grip in his fists.

Ryu was the best in taijutsu, ninjutsu, kenjutsu, genjutsu... Basically he was the best in everything. Ken was known as a prodigy but compared to Ryu... he was nothing, he might be one of his best friends, if not his best one, but he still felt very jealous of him.

His jealousy only increased when Ryu created this large tree, which covered the Training Ground 7. Yggdrasil was it's name, a mythological name for a large tree like it, which really suited it. The ability to use the wood element, Mokuton, Wood Style, the ability only Hashirama Senju had before Ryu.

The First Hokage had used it to create peace in the world, defeating the nine bijuus and giving them to the several villages across the world. However that was as flawed as Hagoromo's idea, that only gave birth to more chaos and infighting, for control of the tailed beasts.

Ken had the sharingan and was descendant of Madara Uchiha, however that did not give him power, he trained hard for it, just like any other person, he knew that Ryu trained hard too ( Reality Manipulation) but despite him training two times as hard as the Uzumaki Namikaze, he still was far weaker than him!

A Rank Jutsus, Ken had the chakra to support one, however he lacked the actual jutsu, there weren't many Jutsus which the Uchiha knew which were A Rank, and also of the fire affinity, mainly due to the fact the Second Hokage, Tobirama had demanded they were burned, and the Uchiha had to oblige, as their strongest Madara had left the village years ago.

However Ryu had promised to give him an A Rank jutsu, from where he'd get it? He didn't have the slightest idea, but did he care? Not at all, as long as he got more powerful he didn't care at all!

He wore his Uchiha clothes and left the compound where most of the Uchiha's lived, separated from the rest of the village, in a corner of it, the only reason a Coup D'etat was avoided was because Minato had somehow managed to pressure them into giving up.

Itachi for example was still a Uchiha clansmen, however he was now the patriarch of the clan, since Fugaku was deemed not good enough to lead the clan since he did not have a strong Mangekyou Sharingan.

Ken since then was treated a bit better, since Itachi did not like discrimination among the Uchihas, however it was still secretly there, no one could deny it. He took a deep breath and reached the gates of Konoha

It was going to be a long day.

Yato Hyuuga sighed. It had been a long Academy life for him, from being humiliated by Ryu, who had totally destroyed his Gentle Fist, to the point he was helped by Ryu, and now was High Chunin Level.

Yato did not deny that his Gentle Fist was easily disarrayed, it was weaker than most Hyuuga's but he tried his best, however every time he tried using the Hyuuga Gentle Fist , he heard a voice inside him telling him that it was 'wrong' and his Gentle Fist was always chaotic due to that.

He couldn't differ which Gentle Fist was better than which.

Yesterday he finally tried this 'other' Gentle Fist. He liked it. Much more elegant, much faster, much more accurate and way more powerful. Was this the true Gentle Fist Taijutsu Style? He did think so.

After all, while he had not tested it in his Jounin-senseis, he could sense that IF he used that on them, it would effect the spar way more, for example, instead of 15 Chakra Points sealed, he could've sealed 40 perhaps, using the 'other' Gentle Fist.

However that was still weaker than Ryu... He did not know why, but he felt as if he could not even see a single opening in him, as if he was always on guard... That scared him.

He filled a large bag with stuff before leaving the Hyuuga Compound.

The Land Of Wave awaited them.
