Oxhead's eyes glittered with red light. "We are from Hades and born to be the Protoss. You shall never be qualified to receive these rare fruits as pariahs living on this deserted land."

Jiang Shaoliu looked to Lin Yuetao and the others, by they were all just as speechless as he was.

"You are too naïve to ever understand the power of the Protoss," the ox-headed giant continued and walked towards Jiang Shaoliu slowly, as if he thought he could never outrun him. "You should never try to steal a rare fruit from us," he said imposingly.

The horse-faced giant also approached them with an air of righteous superiority. He didn't speak as fluently as Oxhead, but they could understand him: "It must be that the Protoss will have the rare fruits and those pariahs who resist will die."

Jiang Shaoliu and the others fell back uncertainly.

Did they mean the netherworld whey they said Hades?

What was the Protoss and the deserted land? Why did they call the humans pariahs?

Oxhead and Horseface were still slowly approaching the group of humans when Oxhead noticed something and turned around to see Xiao Bai sweep past like a bolt of fluffy lighting. Xiao Bai clamped his jaws over the vine ball at full tilt and shot on ahead, getting as far away from the beastly giants as possible.

Oxhead roared with anger and gleamed with dazzling golden light, launching himself after Xiao Bai with such explosive force that a shockwave almost knocked the masters of Yungang off their feet.

Horseface quickly wised up to the situation and followed Oxhead at breakneck speed.

But Jiang Shaoliu reacted faster. He zoomed ahead of them with burning fire in his eyes, shouting, "Xiao Bai, over here!"

Xiao Bai nimbly changed direction and shot past Jiang Shaoliu.

"Aaaargh!" Jiang Shaoliu roared and sped up as his true qi cycled vigorously. He jumped up into the air, screaming, "Eat my fist!"

"Moo!" Oxhead looked up with fiery eyes and bellowed, raising his enormous fist to meet Jiang Shaoliu's.

Slam!

A powerful shockwave threw Jiang Shaoliu backwards. He almost lost his footing but caught himself at the last moment and backflipped away to safety.

Oxhead staggered in place, sizing up Jiang Shaoliu with a complicated expression.

Horseface rushed out from behind him with a powerful neigh and threw a kick at Jiang Shaoliu with his wrecking ball of a foot.

Intense concentration replaced the wild fury on Jiang Shaoliu's face as he took a deep breath and crouched down, using the Demon Fist technique to form a wild cyclone of clenched fists around himself.

Horseface's enormous leg came down on Jiang Shaoliu, smashing into the endless whirlwind of fists.

Thud-thud-thud-thud!

A rapid series of thick impact sounds came from under the giant's foot as dust and bits of rubble flew everywhere.

In the distance, Xiao Bai oversized form disappeared over the edge of the third platform.

Horseface's foot was still coming down when Oxhead came up and pulled him back with a great effort. Horseface staggered back a few steps and stared at the ox-headed giant in confusion.

The ox-headed giant shook his head slowly, puffed his nostrils, and turned to glare at Jiang Shaoliu, who jumped out of the pit in the ground Horseface drove him into and landed stably after a backflip, breathing evenly.

Oxhead stepped forward and bent down to examine Jiang Shaoliu again, then opened his mouth and murmured something under his breath.

Horseface glanced at Oxhead with surprise, then looked Jiang Shaoliu up and down with an expression of doubt.

Oxhead kept calm and watched Jiang Shaoliu seriously, as if awaiting his reply.

"What did you say?" Jiang Shaoliu ventured. "You can speak our language, right? Shall we talk in this language? I cannot understand you right now."

The ox-headed giant's face clouded over as it considered this for a while before continuing to speak.

Then the giant tweaked his ears and rubbed his big face, then reached over behind him and waved his hand behind his butt, before nodding meaningfully at Jiang Shaoliu.

Jiang Shaoliu was flabbergasted. He slowly shook his head and replied, "No, I cannot understand you. Please don't embarrass me and speak my language."

"Moo!!" It seemed as if Oxhead got his confirmation, as he stood up slowly, with fierce eyes, roaring to the sky and gleaming with bright golden light that illuminated the whole mountain.

The horse-faced giant snorted and neighed angrily as well, glittering in gold. A powerful whirlwind began building up around the two giants, throwing shards of stone in all directions.

Taken aback, Jiang Shaoliu quickly started running the Great Sage's Formula as debris shot past him, though his energy seemed inferior to theirs.

Lin Yuetao took up a fighting stance in alarm and rushed to Jiang Shaoliu's side, while Bai Long and Chi Xiao exchanged a meaningful glance and mutually sprinted off after Xiao Bai.

Yin Manshu looked at them and then at Jiang Shaoliu, gnashed her teeth in hesitation, and then followed in their footsteps.

Standing at the top of the opposite peak of the mountain, Ruo Feng remarked to his audience, "How can they deserve their reputation when Bai Long, Chi Xiao and Yin Manshu only think about grabbing the rare fruit at such a time..."
