The Immortal Mutant Teen 84 Chapter 83- Late To Class

While Acheron met with the 5 grandmasters on the roof, 5 girls were having a meeting about Acheron just below him in the Concert Hall.

"So, President, what did you think of Acheron?" asked Sakura,

Though they weren't exactly friends; Sakura had a good grasp on the Student President's personality.

President Akira held her chin contemplating over all the information she was able to gather in their short meeting.

"If I had to put it in a couple of words… He's strong, rich, and incredibly talented but what stands out the most is how unpredictable he seems to be"

All the other girls nodded at her words,

"Acheron always seems to be going with the flow but at the same time kind of appears that everything is going according to his plan" Kotone said expressionlessly.

"um… is like he can see through you, like no secret is safe from him… umm…. Is kind of unnerving" added Vice President Yui quietly.

"Right!" Akeno added,

"When I first met him, it felt like my clothes were invisible in front of him… I liked that"

The blushing Akeno said that last part in a whisper that only Sakura heard it, earning a look of retort from her best friend.

"I hate to admit but Acheron is unbelievably smart, and his background is even more mysterious, I only know just a couple of things," said Sakura,

"Oh? You know his background? I tried looking him up due to this incident with Hoshiko-san, but I couldn't find anything, neither did my family" said the President with interest.

Sakura made a difficult face, should she be telling people these things?

'I'm sure Acheron wouldn't mind, in fact I'm sure he has already foreseen it…' Sakura thought,

"Well according to my father, Acheron's family owns Pandora"

A look of shock flashed across the President, Vice President, and even Kotone, who usually kept a face devoid of emotion.

Pandora, a world leader in almost every field, the greatest company in the history of business. Their technology alone leaves the competition in the dust, for example, Pandora's Box XI was just introduced into the market with stable holographic projections and with a battery life that can last a whole week without charging.

The price of the phone is astronomical compared to phones made by Apple or Samsung, even rich kids like them can barely afford to have them.

Akira even heard from her parents that Pandora is even involved with government affairs and plays a huge part in national defense equipment.

"He must be unbelievably rich…. Do you think he will like to join the Student Council if I ask him?" President Akira asked,

The President watched as Akeno, Sakura, and Kotone shook their heads in denial.

"Acheron is too amazingly wild for something so boring as that…" said Akeno said.

"Acheron holds real power already" said Sakura.

"I think Acheron is engaged…" said Kotone expressionlessly.

"Eh?" the other girls turned to look at Kotone,

'What did that have to do with anything?' they thought,

"What do you mean?! He's not engaged to you!" exclaimed Akeno,

Kotone tilted her head,

"That's not what I meant. Remember before he left for his trip we saw those realistic illusions when he played the Guzheng (zither)?"

Though the President and Vice president had no idea what Kotone was talking about, both Sakura and Akeno nodded their heads.

That beautiful scene in the Roman villa and then utter destruction that came with after it, was something they still think about.

"You guys probably didn't notice because you were in the dark, but when Acheron was singing I saw the figure of a woman in the audience. She wore a black dress with silver hair and had this beautiful ruby necklace on her neck. The way she looked at Acheron was filled with love towards him…"

Akeno slumped her shoulders, visibly depressed. Sakura seeing this, whispered some encouragement in her ear.

"Hey, don't give up, I'm sure we can ask him when we get back to class. Maybe is not true"

Akeno's eyes lit up when she heard Sakura's encouragement.

"Right!"

Sakura smiled before it dawned upon her that they have been here for too long.

"We need to get to class! We are going to be late!"

The girls scrambled for their stuff before dashing towards the elevator.

When Acheron left the roof, Akeno and Sakura were well on their way to class.

The bell rang and both the girls made it just in time. When they walked towards their seats, slightly out of breath, they noticed Acheron never made it to class.

Noticing that Thirio-sensei was about to start her lesson, they sat down and gave each other questioning looks, wondering where Acheron went.

Acheron showed up 10 minutes late to class.

When Acheron slid the door open and walked in, everyone just looked up and stared at him. Thirio-sensei stopped her lesson and questioned Acheron.

"Belau-kun, why were you late?"

"I got lost, sensei" Acheron lied as easily as he breathed.

"By the way, sensei, you look stunning today! Are those new Prada heels?"

"Quit trying to change the subject and get to your seat!"

Though Thirio-sensei was a cold, beautiful, and had a face that seemed like it had never smiled a day in her life, if you looked closer, you would notice that her ears were slighting turning red.

As Acheron neared his seat, Akeno caught a hint of something in the air. She realized it was the smell of blood and it came from Acheron.

"Psst! Acheron? You okay? I smell blood" Akeno whispered to Acheron.

Acheron smiled and waved it off.

"I passed by the Butcher's club on the way here" Acheron once again lied as easily as he breathed.

Akeno just nodded, but she didn't believe him.

She then turned to look at Sora, Sakura's brother, across the room who seems to already be looking towards her. It seems he too had smelled the slight stench of blood coming from Acheron.

The reason why Akeno didn't believe him was because she smelled human blood and not animal blood.
