Rose woke up in the morning around 0600, she wakes up around the same time every day, even on a Sunday.

She did her usual routine, and like always, she left cooking breakfast last.

She loved cooking for Acheron but today was a little different than it has been for the past couple of weeks, she found Acheron in the living room with Athena.

Obviously as an AI, Athena, did not required sleep, so she could stay with Acheron all night.

This fact always made Rose jealous, but she didn't mean to be this way... some girl jealous of a computer program that had no actual body.

She doesn't really mean to be jealous of any one at all, but she just can't help it.

She knows Acheron could not and would not solely belong to her, but she can't help to wish for it.

Ever since Acheron picked her up from the streets and changed her fate, Acheron had become her whole world, she wanted to do everything for him.

"Breakfast is ready Acheron-sama!" Rose called,

"Looks delicious as always, Rose" Acheron said as he sat down,

Rose smiled,

Athena just continued to smile but there was a visual tick at the corner of her eyes, it appeared she wasn't will to succumb to Rose's provocation.

As they ate in silence, Rose's phone got an alert.

She looked at the message and before she could report it to Acheron, Athena beat her to the punch,

"Darling, we just a report that more bodies were found in the streets of London, the limit you had set has been reached"

Rose hatefully glared at Athena for taking her report from her, while Athena just looked towards Acheron.

Acheron sat there in silence and continued to eat his food, both Athena and Rose did the same, when Acheron was ready to talk, he will.

After a couple of minutes of just chop sticks hitting the bowls and the sound of chewing, Acheron finally finished his breakfast, a big sigh escaped his body, before looking at the women in front of him,

"Prep the jet for London, will you Athena?" Acheron asked, he then turned his head towards Rose,

"You shouldn't come with me this time, Rose, Mutants will be involved, and as always, they will be far stronger than you"

"Ill go Acheron-sama" Rose replied, "Besides… you will be there to protect me"

Acheron smiled,

"You will stay in the London base and you won't leave it, especially at night, okay?"

Rose nodded,

"Yes Acheron-sama, I'll do as you ask, as long as you come home" Rose said,

"Darling, the jet will be ready in an hour" Athena said,

"Okay… Artemis?" Acheron called,

A five-year-old little girl with pink hair and a cute and pudgy face in a pink little sundress appeared right beside him, and gave Acheron a hug,

"Yes dad?" Artemis said, as she looked up at him,

"I'm giving your first task, okay?" Acheron looked down at Artemis with a smile,

Artemis beamed at the thought of her first task, she could wait to execute her father's commands.

"Start defense protocol #1" Acheron said,

"Make it about a month, just in case something unexpected happens" Acheron said,

"Okay, no problem, I'll do that… speaking of school… a report from Psyche came in, she changed the memories of everyone except one, that person escaped from Psyche… her failure should be punished Acheron-sama!" Rose said,

"I don't count Darling! I am your wife!" Athena said,

"I don't remember you getting married, Athena! I'll be the one to marry Acheron-sama!" Rose exclaimed,

"Let's go! You can argue about this later!" Acheron said,

Acheron got up and headed towards the 1st floor.

The moment they left, 100 hundred shadows moved and posted themselves around the abandoned factory, each wearing black tactical gear, with all kinds of weapons strapped to their bodies.

They wore a skull mask underneath a hood, with the eye holes glowing in different colors.
