"It's not like that, Sister Xue. Listen to me. She's trying to kill me. Do you see that knife on the floor? If I hadn't been quick to react today, I would've been killed by her already," Wang Feng said.

At Wang Feng's explanation, Bei Yunxue found that she actually believed Wang Feng's story more. After all, she interacted with him during the past few days, so she knew that Wang Feng was not someone like that.

Also, there was indeed a kitchen knife on the floor. It was more likely for Wang Feng's version of the story to be the truth.
