Juin and Max talked for a few minutes before both of them decided to head back to their class earlier and get some reading done. Warlock was going to give them a small test today, and they did not want to give the guy a chance to punish them… which he did to some poor kid last Monday.

"That guy's a total psycho. Is he really qualify to teach?" Max mumbled as she thought about the incident last Monday, when one of their classmates was made to run laps around the track field for being the last in class. "The name Mad Dog was well named…"

Juin shrugged, not knowing what to say when it came to their weird teacher. It was a good thing that Lucifer forced him to study nowadays… No… Juin actually voluntarily picked up the books and studied just so that he could have some time off from his physical training.

And he was not sure whether it was because of Lucifer, or if he somehow unlocked an innate talent of his, but lately, whenever he read, things seemed to have become easier for him to understand and memorize. Unlike before, where no matter how he tried, he could not remember most of the things he read.

They were already in the hallway when someone suddenly jumped out from a corner and startled them.

"HEY!"

It was one of their classmates, a beautiful Asian girl who had been actively speaking to Juin for the last few days.

"Hey, Mika," Juin greeted with a polite smile. "Is there anything that you want from us?"

Mika Nakamura pouted and played with her hair as she mumbled, "Can't a girl just say hello?"

She then batted her eyelashes seductively at Juin.

Max frowned slightly, but she did not say anything about the girl's behavior. The last few days, every time she was with Juin, this Mika girl would come and try to talk to him while completely ignoring Max's presence.

Actually, not just Mika Nakamura, but Max noticed that a few other people from the school had been looking at Juin with weird glances ever since they transferred over. She found it weird since most people would usually ignore Juin's presence.

Taking a brief glance at her best friend, Max wondered if all this attention came because of Juin's body, which was slowly changing nowadays.

"We are going back to the classroom now. Do you want to join us?" Juin asked out of courtesy. He knew who she was, but he had no idea if she knew that he knew. Hence, he was playing it safe for now.

Mika nodded shyly. She then took Juin's right arm and linked her arm with his before saying, "Let's go."

Along the way, she kept talking to Juin about random stuff, and whenever Max tried to say something, Mika would ignore her words and ask for Juin's opinion instead. When they finally got to their classroom, Juin was already sweating slightly from the awkwardness.

He wasn't blind, and he could see what Mika did earlier. However, as a guy, he could not help but secretly enjoy the attention that he got from such a beautiful girl, even if it might have come with an ill intention.

"Talk to you later, Juiny…" Mika said with a flirty tone before walking back to her seat.

"Gosh, I hate her…" Max muttered as she watched Mika walk away. "She's way too flirty…"

Juin sighed and patted her on the shoulder. "Don't get mad about this… She's just being friendly."

"You boys are all the same!" Max glared at Juin before she walked to her seat, leaving Juin felt wronged.

"Juin…" Lucifer mumbled. He had been following them by floating above Juin the whole time, and he saw Mika slip something into Juin's pocket when she pressed her chest into his arm as a means of distraction.

Juin gave Lucifer a quick glance before walking back to his desk. As he walked, he muttered under his breath, "I know..."

To be honest, he had a feeling that Mika Nakamura wanted something from him. Otherwise, a beautiful girl like her, who was from a powerful family, would have never spent even one minute with someone like him.

So, when he got back to his own seat, he looked around before taking out the thing that was placed inside his pant pocket. Juin glanced at Mika, who was staring at him. And when their eyes met, the girl winked and smiled at him. Juin merely gave her a slight, unassuming smile before looking away.

"Are you going to meet her?" Lucifer asked, having read the content of the paper earlier.

Juin activated one of the "Silent" talismans before putting his forehead down on the desk, pretending to take a nap.

"I don't know yet. It's most likely a trap."

"Could be a good trap. We can find out more about what they want… Besides, you are a lot stronger now, so it's no longer that dangerous for you."

Juin thought for a moment before asking, "I suppose that I can take this chance to test out her skills… But I'm just worried that this might be her brother's trap."

Last Tuesday, Juin received a call from Mr. Thompson. Apparently, the man found out from his daughter that there was this girl named "Mika Nakamura" who had been talking to Juin a lot, so he dug a little into them.
