The Demon King's Cowardly Vessel 17 Ka'za's Soul Contrac

The moment Lucifer heard the words that he had been waiting for, he immediately appeared before Juin with the contract ready. A complex symbol with a light blue glow appeared on his left hand as he sat with his legs crossed before Juin, slightly floating off the ground.

"Put out your right hand, palm up, and repeat after me," Lucifer said sternly.

Juin did as he was told, putting his right hand out with the palm up. With Max's life in danger, there was no time for him to argue about anything anymore.

"Repeat the next sentence after me thrice," Lucifer said, as he held the contract upside down above Juin. "I swore with my life to uphold all that is stated in the Ka'za's Soul Contract!"

Without any hesitation, Juin muttered under his breath as he glared at Luca, "I swore with my life to uphold all that is stated in the Ka'za's Soul Contract!"

Lucifer and Juin both repeated the same sentence two more times in unison, and at the same time, Lucifer slowly pushed his contract-holding hand down until the contract touched Juin's palm. The moment they said the words "Ka'za's Soul Contract", Lucifer pushed the entire contract down, which then disappeared into Juin's palm.

Luca Rockefeller frowned as he stared at Juin, wondering why Juin was so quiet now. He could see the glow of light on Juin's hand. By the time he realized what it could possibly be, it was too late.

All of a sudden, a bright, Juin's hand started to emit a bright red glow, before bursting out like an explosion, temporarily blinding Luca Rockefeller and causing him to drop the now-unconscious Max on the floor with a thud.

The ground shook, and a huge earthquake seemed to have appeared right beneath the school as cracks formed on the school walls and floors, as well as on the field. Outside the basketball, there was a panic as the students and teachers ran for their lives.

"What the hell…" Luca muttered as he struggled to maintain his stability. When the ground underneath him cracked and caved in, he jumped into the air and stood in the air as he got onto a defensive mode, holding Shadowmoon in front of him before cracking it loudly. He then looked at Juin, who was now standing on the ground as huge holes that looked like craters appeared around him.

For some reason, the small craters seemed to avoid Juin and Max, who was lying unconscious around him.

"It's really you…" Luca grinned as he put his index finger right in front of his nose. "With the powers that are bestowed upon me, I should put an end to this demon!"

He then drew a simple diagram in front of him with a finger. As his finger moved to form the pattern of the diagram, a purple line seemed to move right behind it, until a diagram with a purple silhouette was formed in midair.

"Rings of Wind!" Luca yelled as he pushed the purple diagram, causing it to expand slightly as it moved forward.

The purple diagram glowed brightly as four small tornadoes appeared around Juin, caging him within.

With his head down, Juin touched his face where several cuts had appeared. These tornadoes were moving at such a fast rate that the secondhand wind they generated felt like blades.

"Tsk," Juin scoffed. He then looked up at Luca and sneered, "This is all you've got, human?"

He then snapped a finger and Max's body was then lifted and placed in a corner of the basketball court and way out of harm.

Luca frowned when he saw Juin's black eyes had turned blood-red, which confirmed his earlier theory of demon possession. "What's your name, demon?" Luca snapped as he cracked his whip, sending the four tornadoes that surrounded Juin to move inward.

"I'll tell you once you beat me, you ugly motherf*cker!" Juin grinned. He put his right hand on his left arm, and with a twist…

CRACK!

He then stretched his left arm nonchalantly, as if he was just doing his everyday thing. He then sent a bone-chilling glare at Luca, which caused the guy to forget how to breathe for a second.

When he got to his senses, Luca cracked his whip, and in a split second, the four tornadoes were gathered where Juin was standing.

Unfortunately for him, Juin was no longer there.

"Hey…"

Luca whipped his head around and saw Juin above him, with a punch that was launching toward him, and he immediately crossed his arms in an X shape in front of him, where a purple shield that was made of wind came out.

BAM!

The moment Juin's fist connected with the purple shield, an energy ripple spread out, causing all the windows to shatter. The impact of the punch was so great that when Luca was slammed into the ground, a crater in the shape of a huge fist was created in the ground.

CRACK!

Cracking sounds could be heard when Luca hit the ground.

"Arggh!" Luca groaned as blood sputtered out of his mouth.

"Just one hit?" Juin walked to him and stood by the crater. With an arrogant expression on his face, he sneered, "That's all you can do? I thought you wanted to take my life?"

Luca glared at him as he used the power of the wind to move him upright. His legs were broken, and so was his right arm, and he was pretty sure that at least one of his ribs was broken as well. Blood was trickling out from the corners of his lips as he stared at Juin.

Juin grinned evilly as he cracked his knuckles and head. He then scoffed, "Let me send you to your maker."

He placed his palms together, and the palms emitted a red glow as a red diagram moved around it. When Juin pulled his palms apart, a mark appeared on his right palm, where he cut his hand with the sword.

While grinning at Luca, who was too afraid to even move now, Juin then attempted to pull out something from the mark. Luca frowned, wondering what it was, as he could not see clearly. However, the moment the thing appeared, a powerful demonic aura was released into the surroundings, and Luca's eyes went wide upon feeling that sensation.

Just the pressure of the aura was enough to immobilize him.

However, before Juin could pull the item out for more than 5 cm, he felt a sharp pain in his mind, and the next thing he knew, he collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily and completely out of strength.

"Argh! You f*cking weakling!" Lucifer groaned as his soul was torn apart from Juin. He floated in front of Juin and yelled, "Can you work on that stupid body of yours?!"

Juin ignored him and looked at Max. Even at this time, he hoped that she was alright.

"Ashton…" Juin mumbled as he recalled the scene that day. After Ashton fell off the cliff, Juin fainted on the spot, and when he woke up, he was extremely weak to the point that he could not even move a finger, just like now… It was as if someone took all the energy out of him.
