Qiao Moyu received a message from Ye Peicheng to tell her he was in the underground car park just as Luo Luo fell asleep after a bedtime story. He asked her to change her clothes and go on a walk with him.

Once she exited the elevator, Qiao Moyu saw Ye Peicheng at the entrance who had a complicated expression. He immediately held her hand when he saw her, “Let's go to the river!”

Qiao Moyu's home had a wide river nearby. During the summer evenings, a lot of people would walk along the river.

However the weather was chilly now so there was hardly anyone here at the river. Ye Peicheng and Qiao Moyu both wore face masks and walked along the river. The river wind raised the corners of their clothes and a slight chill swept through their bodies. This seemed to make Ye Peicheng even more clear-headed.

He looked at the surface of the river and spoke, “Little Moyu, I have something to tell you.”

Qiao Moyu nodded, her voice was soft, “Okay.”

“It's about three years ago. It's about you and me.” Ye Peicheng said this then turned around and looked Qiao Moyu in the eyes, “Little Moyu, Luo Luo is my son. My biological son.”

Qiao Moyu was completely shocked and dumbfoundedly stared up at Ye Peicheng.

She wanted to see if there was the slightest hint of sarcasm, but she failed to see any.

It was him? So Luo Luo's real father is Ye Peicheng?

So the loving father she had been searching for, had always been by her and Luo Luo's side?!

Qiao Moyu's chest trembled. She could not say whether it was happiness or something else but her mind was blank.

Ye Peicheng proceeded to explain, “At that time, I had been drugged by my brother. I was delirious when you entered my room and dragged you into bed…”

Qiao Moyu continued to stand still in the same place. Her brain turned slowly and right now all she could think about was that Luo Luo's biological father was Ye Peicheng. Qiao Moyu also did not know whether the ending would be different if the original owner did not enter Ye Peicheng's room. Would the original owner still have leapt down the building because she could never find what she searched for?

He stared at the waves in the distance with a deep expression in his eyes, “Once the filming is finished, I will officially announce that I am leaving the entertainment circle. I will put all my energy into company matters!”

After, he stroked Qiao Moyu's ring finger, “Little Moyu, give me a bit more time. Once I am settled, let's get married!”

Clearly they are the same person so Ye Peicheng did not know why Qiao Moyu asked but he replied seriously, “Little Moyu, I only recently found out the whole story but before I knew the truth, I liked you. So the person I like and have been waiting for are both the current you.”
