Sophie who just got bitten was looking at how easily Max killed the witches and was frightened. At this time she heard Klaus say, "If you wanna live after my bite, kneel in front of me. Kneel till I'm satisfied."

Klaus just laughed at her and went away with Max, Hayley and his brother. Marcel watching this, went to Sophie and gave her some of Klaus' blood which he had kept in case of emergency.

So Max just smiled at took two nails and said, "Well, the thing is, you might think that you're safe and I won't kill you, well yes, I won't kill you... right now. But that doesn't mean I won't torture you." Saying this Max used those two nails and pierced at her knee.

She was screaming in pain. She looked hopefully towards Klaus and Elijah, but only to see their expressionless face. Then she heard Max say, "You should know something, now the technology is so improved that we only need you alive to have the baby delivered. So if you were missing a few fingers or perhaps missing your arms and legs, we could still get the baby delivered safely. So what's it gonna be? You gonna talk or should I continue?"

Hayley looked at Max with hatred and said, "You Argents are the worst. First of was Gerard, then it was that Kate, now you. You people kept on hunting us like dogs. Especially in the recent years, you started hunting down Alphas like anything. And you even took out the Alpha Pack."

Max and others were confused hearing this, Max said, "What does this have anything to do with you?"

Hayley said, "Don't you get it? Now there are rarely any Alphas. Because of that werewolves doesn't have a proper leader. And with you killing them the next generation betas aren't gonna be able to become Alphas. As we know Alphas are suppose to pass on their power to the next generation betas. Now with you around, I know that Alphas will be extinct sooner or later. That's why you have to die."
