"You were never married," Zhaolin said softly. "You were never even in any relationship. For the past years, the first three years you spent it with your child. Xueyan, "... If I was never in a relationship, how did i get pregnant? Did I sleep with myself and get myself pregnant? I can't possibly do that, or can I?"

"Tsk, tsk." Xueyan tsked, shook her head and continued eating.

He knows she doesn't want him... But he wants her. He wanted her back in his life. But she was trying her best to get far away from him. When she said yes, to his question, he fiddled with his phone under the table, sending out a message to Riuwen to confirm her claim.

Everything about her had been gathered by Riuwen, but he didn't want to read them nor take a curiously gaze at them... If she could easily accept him, then he will have nothing in this world to worry about. He loves and wants her. If she could do the same...

"Xueyan, I like you alot. I fell for you the first day I saw you. I do not know how to express my feelings in words because I never loved or had another woman in my life but there's one thing I know how to do. And that is to love. I will love you with all my heart..."

"The same way you are loving your wife and child? Xiao Shiya and Xing Zhihao. If you love with all your heart as you say, then, they shouldn't be any more room for a stranger like me..." Xueyan chipped in.

"I don't love her!" He began, "I only love my son."

i don't love her...  The words rang bells in her ears. He  doesn't love her? But... Is he telling the truth? What if it's a lie? No, she shouldn't fall for his lies so easily.

"You don't love the mother of your son?" She probed.

"She isn't his mother! Zhihao is my son."

His son, he say? Of course, I know that. But he didn't fall from heaven...

"Your son, did he perhaps fall from heaven?"

"No," he answered. "He was adopted,"

Really? The little young master was adopted? But still... The whole family loves him... Is he truly just adopted? And yet he receives this much love?

She said nothing more.

She was speechless, she didn't know how to continue again.

Cough. She chocked on the water she swallowed.

He immediately stood up, went closer and patted her back, "Did I say something wrong? You don't want me to sleep at all? Okay, then. I will stay wake all night just to satisfy you and your needs."

"Zhaolin, be quiet!" She growled. "Be quiet! Quiet!"

Thankfully the floor was almost empty with few customers remaining, or else all eyes will be on them.

He was conflicted, did he say something wrong?

After calming down, she turned to glare at him. 

I really said something wrong then...

Xueyan shrugged off his hand at her back, "Go sit and stop speaking."

At that time, Jiuwen walked back to them. "Did I miss something?" She asked and darted a look at Xueyan then at Zhaolin. She grinned as she couldn't help it. She had stood there watching them, thankfully she didn't wear stilettoes or she wouldn't have been able to walk back to them.

She sat down, her order had already gone cold so she didn't touch it.

"Sorry, I had an important call." She lied.

"No problem," Xueyan commented.

Zhaolin gaze didn't break from her, she didn't dare to turn. 

Jiuwen raised her glass to her mouth and peeked at the two... She smiled. 

At the Four Wheels, Riuwen was working late when he received a notification on his phone. He checked it to see it was a message from Zhaolin,

He was astounded, He answered immediately, not wanting to delay or beat around.

Where's he?

  Zhaolin sudden outing today had surprised him. Did he go after Xueyan again?
