THE CEO's LOVE 110 SHE WAS ANGRY

He tried to sit up but couldn't. He could only watch as tears trickled down his daughter's face. He slowly stretched out his hand. It hurt from resting against the hard floor.

He wasn't the only confused one, Ruqin was baffled. He had gone on a mission. "Fa... Fa..." More tears streamed down her face.

Dasheng squinted his eyes. He was tired of watching the big show. He glanced at the guard posted for the man. He made communication with the man and he bowed. 

"Let's go," he motioned for the guard that he took along to take Ruqin.

"What are you doing here?" Ruqin asked after taking a deep breath to calm herself. "What are you doing here? Where are your men?"

The man closed his eyes as he writhed in pain.

"Ru..." It was getting hard to talk.

"Don't say anything," Ruqin waved her hand. "Don't try to speak, please."

The guard went forward and grabbed Ruqin's shoulder... His eyes shook when she didn't try to resist. She was the fierce type.

Her shoulders only dropped, a sign of weakness. And with just this little act? Dasheng smirked.

"Move," the guard said to Ruqin. She did nothing, just allowed the guard take her away.

Her father tried to reach for her, but he was too weak.

She could only shake her head at the man, not to move. 

The camera paused and the director stretched. He was having a good time. He had never experienced an easy shoot in his life. No stress, and always sitting. Instead of being at the actress's neck, do that, do this. This was going go be fun. He had to agree. 

He looked up, and peeked out of the umbrella, covering his head. The blazing sun hit his eyes. He shrank back immediately. "We'll continue with the shoot." 

When the camera had paused, Mei Han took mineral water and wet towel to Xueyan.

Xueyan finished a whole and demanded for more. 

"You want snacks?" Mei Han asked.

"Sure," Xueyan smiled.

It made Mei Han smile too. She loved Xueyan, now it felt like relationship of an older sister and younger one.

"There's Ròu Jiā Mó (Chinese hamburger), sesame chicken, kuh kapi, fried ngaku chips..."

"Bring them all," Xueyan tilted her head to avoid Mei Han's eyes.

She was in the middle of eating the sesame chicken when the director announced that the shooting would continue.

"Here, eat quick." Mei Han urged.

Then they heard the sound of cars heading towards them.

Everyone at the location turned to know who it was, beside the scenes with other actors would start tomorrow.

It was a total of three cars.

Since the glasses were tinted black, the people could only wait for whomever was in the car to get down.

Xueyan didn't bother watching, after she turned to look at the cars.

Whomever that was in the car was surely coming to meet the director, so why strain her neck to see who it was.

She saw Producer Fang from the corner of her eyes tap the Director to turn. Director Ye did, but there was no expression on his face.

Xueyan took a big bite of her chicken. "Mmm. Tasty!"

Mei Han giggled. "You sure are a lucky one. Mr Du bought all that for you. In the name of treating everyone. Sadly he had to leave... Said he had an errand to do." She then sighed. "You should have seen Jingtang's face. He was fuming mad. There are so many of us here. His boss was spending too much money, he had complained."

Xueyan frowned then it turned to a smile. 

"Why are you smiling?" Mei Han folded her hands in front of her.

Xueyan started giggling. "I don't know. I just find it amusing he's doing all these for me." She filled a cup with water to drink.

"You think he has a thing on you, right? I believe he likes you a lot."

The statement made Xueyan spat out the water in her mouth, her neck turned rosy, and then it rose to her cheeks.

"Ah, look, you're blushing." Mei Han pointed her two index fingers at Xueyan.

Xueyan opened her mouth to say something, but no one word formed. She closed them and shut her eyes. 

"Hahaha," Mei Han chuckled joyously. "I caught you there. Red handed! There's no escaping me!" She continued chuckling.

The car doors slammed shut and Mei Han turned.

She felt the air around them thickened.

Xueyan still didn't turn. From the corner of her eyes, she saw the director mutter something to the producer and he came sprinting forward. He passed them and Xueyan realized where he was headed.

"Hello, Miss Ru." The producer said, softly. Almost like a whisper. "Ay, Miss Deng and Miss Yin. It's a pleasure to see you all after such a long time."

"It hasn't been that long, or perhaps, the producer's memory is dissipating through the passing of years," 

That sarcastic tone belonged to Ru Fangxi. Xueyan rolled her eyes.

Producer Fang only chuckled. "Seems like so," he didn't bother arguing. It would only give Fangxi more room to make stupid remarks.

"Producer Fang, it's been long truly. You're getting old I must say." The voice was soft, like a feather brushing against the skin. Xueyan knew who the voice belonged to. It was Deng Yue. 

Since almost every of her classmate had gone into the entertainment industry, and with her, a big fan of drama, movies and songs. She knew them. 

If she remembered clearly, the last drama had been a year ago. And Deng Yue had traveled out of the country to rest. She wasn't really resting as she was featured in some action packed films, overseas.

The man chuckled. "I can't remain young forever. I don't have the ability to do that," his tone not changing.

"Producer Fang, how have you been?" 

And there she was, the excited voice was Yin Anhao's. A little but dangerous bird. 

"Ha, dearest Anhao. Thank you for asking, I've been good. And you?"

"Good." She replied. She then looked around. "I heard the shoot started a day ago. And the lead's been changed. Where's she?" 

Producer Fang darted a look at the two people, sitting not too far off. "Let me call her..."

"You? Call for her? Who is she?"

 "Some mighty woman, I guess." Fangxi smirked, and folded her arms in front of her. She didn't tell her two friends who the lead was changed to, she wanted them to witness it their selves.

Yin Anhao cackled. "Really? A foreigner then, because there's no one mightier than our Miss Ru."

The praise made Fangxi head swell. She smiled.

"Call for her then," Yin Anhao was in for this.

Meanwhile, Deng Yue didn't give a care who it was.

Producer Fang got close and bent. "Miss Bai, if you'll do me the honour." He knew she had heard everything. He knew best to not offend the three ladies... And it was much better not to offend Xueyan. She had two strong backing. He had thought it was only Xiujun but realized not too late last night when he talked to the chairman. 

Xueyan was still dressed in her rag clothes, but she didn't mind. Mei Han put a scarf over her head. The three ladies were standing under the sun, with a guard behind them using an umbrella to shield them from the sun.

She stood up and took light steps towards them.

The other two ladies didn't see her face. Yin Anhao tried not to strain. Why did she have to put a scarf over her head and now, her head bent too.

Xueyan got close and slowly raised her head. It seemed like they were acting a dramatic scene. She was going to pull it off perfectly.

Yin Anhao was the first to see her. Her eyes revealed shock. She was shocked, it made Xueyan smile. Not too revealing though.

"Miss Yin, I've heard a lot about you. I'm sorry that I've to meet you dressed this way. How have you been?" Xueyan's haughty tone made Deng Yue head snap towards her.

Who was the nameless actress being all cocky? 

"Bai Xueyan?" They both chorused.

Ru Fangxi rolled her eyes.

Xueyan smiled. She must have left a terrible mark on them... They didn't even doubt it was her.

Deng Yue was bold enough to take a step closer to Xueyan. She examined her face closely.

Xueyan had her eyes focused on the car parked. 

"I don't believe this! You never even completed high school, how come you were made the lead?" The question was fired by Yin Anhao.

"Miss Yin, I think you're mistaken. We both took the national examination... Oh you couldn't make it that day, I remember." Xueyan arched a brow.

She was obviously meaning that Yin Anhao hadn't written it, someone helped her write it. 

"Does that mean Miss Yin didn't write the national exam herself?"

"I bet that's what Miss Bai meant."

"It's amazes me that though Miss Bai is from a poor family, she was able to attend the same highschool as our idols."

"Excluding Du Xiujun, Shen Q and Yichen."

The whispers was taunting Yin Anhao.

"No! You remember wrongly. I had arrived at school by seven. What do you mean I couldn't make it?" Her voice trembling. Her eyes shook. She was just teasing her, did Xueyan have to answer back like that?

"Oh... My bad." Xueyan didn't bother changing what she said. And if she didn't, it would only give the employees the impression her examination was written by her.

"Don't you remember?"

"Doesn't matter what I remember," Xueyan cooed.

Yin Anhao wanted to faint. She was going to lose her sanity if she talked anymore with Xueyan.

She looked away. Clenching her fists. Xueyan didn't miss that action.

Deng Yue was smarter, she only smiled.

"Miss Ru," Ru Fangxi's head snapped towards Xueyan. 

"What?"

"Nothing really. Just that you..." Xueyan trailed off on purpose. "Never mind."

Fangxi jaw clenched. Her eyes constricted. She was mad! She was angry! Xueyan just made her eager for no reason. And yes, she wanted to know what Xueyan had to say. It was so sad she couldn't force the word right out of her mouth.

"I bet it's tiring to take on as the lead... You must be having a hard time." Fangxi stated.

"No, no." Xueyan shook her head. "I'm having as much fun as I want. It's not that hard." She smiled, so sweetly her eyes glinted and thinned into crescent moon. 

That smile was so sincere that it made Fangxi's chest burn. She had come just to make it a hard day for Xueyan. Well, it wasn't over yet.
