Throwing his body away, threads of a invisible force gathered at the man and by the time he touched the ground, all that could be seen was a ten-year old boy. The boy opened his eyes and looked at the surrounding scene with horror before running away.

The figure in veil raised its eyes, horrified. Then by kneeling on the ground, the figure released its voice. "Senior, i'm sorry for before. I didn't know you are that strong."

Just from the weird powers he showed and an a simple but noble aura that reminded the figure of its father was enough to see this was no ordinary man. This was because he was only being detected as a mortal non-cultivator. Of course that are some species where even without cultivating they would be comparable to seventh realm cultivators by the time of their birth, yet this man seemed like a ordinary human.

Elijah knew this was the transformation most of the abyss clans have to experience. Taking out his phone, he decided to play some offline games while waiting for the process to be complete.

With the eyes opening, the smoke was gone and the veil fell revealing a particularly beautiful female face. From the conflicted emotions on her eyes, Elijah could see why she was so conflicted. "It's your first time right? For other races and even most gods and immortals may not now, but I have a special relation with a member of your clan. So I was informed of it, this was your first transformation."

The reason for the veil was especially to not show it to other celestial clans they had this ability.  All those from the void clan are used to venerate the time clan like their god. Maybe because there would be no Void clan if their ancestor wasn't taken by the patriarch as a disciple. Even her son, the void king only reached his current level because of the time clan that favored him since he was a child. Even the other royal families felt a pang of jealousy for how the time clan treated the void royal family to the point some even thought the void king was the patriarch's son instead of their ancestor's husband.

Using his eyes, he could see this girl was someone he could trust, so using an artifact to form a isolation barrier around them, he open his mouth."My name is Elijah Branches, I heard my name has spread a little on this side of the celestial world."

"What?!" The girl nearly fell, but she kept balance and stared at Elijah for a few seconds inspecting his face and body before hugging him. "So you are brother-in-law? Big sis Yawen is my aunt's daughter, but because she was sealed somewhere in the world. I only met her a few years ago when I came with my father to visit, she told me something about a vessel body which she lost connection years ago. Yet this body was completely different by the time it returned and their minds connected once again, she also told me what you did to this vessel body."

Elijah could only scratch his head as he nodded. "So she told you everything. I should have know from her expression when I told her I was going to the celestial world to participate in the time war. So you must know why I'm here, right? You also forgot to tell me your name."

"Yalli, my name is Yalli. And you should be here to see sister Yawen..." Stopping for a moment, Yalli noticed something strange and could not help buy ask: "Wait, from what sis told me you should be a Trinity cultivator. Why are you just a mortal now?"

Elijah didn't know what to say. It was better to hide what happened between the prime king, Yakhan and the cosmic heart to prevent making this girl worry too much for nothing.
