As I sat at the corner of my bed, I slowly calm my self down and look at the view outside the window facing the bed. Cherry blossoms? I really died huh... It is impossible for cherry blossoms to grow to where I came from...

"Du'er, may you please give me anything that I can see my face?" I calmly ask the lady that stayed with me. I really can't say mirror, right? Was it already invited in this era or not? Better not say anything that might sound weird or they might suspect about me being possessed. Will I be burned alive or stoned to death if they suspect?

"Oh, forgive me young miss. I seem to forgot to help prepare you for today. I was just glad that you've woke up after a year." She bowed and leave the room.

A year?! Oh...well that will help me at least I don't need to know how to act like the original daughter. "I wonder what year it is now?"

****Du's POV****

I came back in the room and was welcomed with the young miss' gazing outside though it doesn't seem like she is really looking at the cherry blossoms.

"I wonder what year it is now?" she blurted out following with a sigh.

"Young miss, it is the seventh year since the tenth Emperor Zhao was crowned." She suddenly turn to face me and I immediately get mesmerized by her eyes.

"I see..." she murmured and her eyes seems to dimmed more.

She looks at me and gestures for me to place the basin with water on the table. I started to help clean her face and noticed that she flinches every time I directly touched her skin so I carefully avoided doing so on my following movements. Young miss, how can such a beauty suffered so much at a young age.

***FL's POV***

While Du'er was preparing my dress, I look at the water basin and can my face is little chubby with freckles since I'm still a child I can still improve my appearance. Maybe I should start stretching this chubby body of mine after a week, they might suspect me if I just started jumping and running when I just woke up.

I thanked Du'er after helping me dressing up although I hate the look of pity I see in her eyes earlier I know it is out of concern for the original owner of this body.

"Can you tell what happened to me?" she was startled when I suddenly asked her without removing my gaze outside the window. I want to know what happened to the original owner, why she's in slumber for almost a year.

"Young miss you were..."

"Du'er leave us..." I heard the voice of my mother in this life, shocked by her voice with a trace of sadness and anger.

"My child... I know you are confused right now that you can't remember everything but I'll be always here with you..." she hug me tightly as if I would disappear if she didn't do so. I slightly nodded as I hug her back, in my previous life I didn't feel any warmth from my own family and at least for now, I want to take advantage of her hug.

"You... you were kidnapped and when the authorities found you, you were unconcious inside a cabin. You don't have to worry they didn't touch you however because you were missing for three days..." she hesitated a bit before continuing, "our people heard that the Long family plans to change the lady engaged to their eldest son from you to your sixth cousin Fan'er." She looked me in the eyes with full of worry.

"I see... since I don't remember everything they would doubt if I was touched even though I'm still not of marriagable age, am I right?" I pondered a bit and look away. "Mother, did they find out who planned it?"

"Yes... it was your uncle. That's why during the past year your father and brother secretly prepared everything for us to separate from the main branch and cut ties since we discovered that the main branch have knowledged of their plan unless they want your uncle to be persecuted and have their reputation ruined. We will complete it before the Moon Festival."

"Mother... you, father and big brother have suffered." she was shocked when I hug her on my own will. I feel that the original owner wasn't closed to her but I'll change it. "I believe you mother and I'm back, I'll start taking care of our family."

"Yes... you're finally awake my child." I feel drops of tears on my back as we stayed for couple of minutes as we hug. She stayed with me till I fell asleep.
