In the market's busy street, a lady wearing red hanfu with a cloth draped on her head to hide her face can be seen buying a bunch tanghulu together with her maidservant. Everyone who sees this noticed that the corner of the maidservant's mouth is twitching as she sees that her young miss keeps adding more in her hands.

"How much is it?" a melodious yet serene voice can be heard under the veil attracting the people passing by more.

The children who are playing stopped upon seeing the two ladies and greeted them with familiarity before getting the tanghulu from their hands. Xue helped Xiuying entered a small cabin and sit down, facing an old couple who are taking care of the children.

"Everything is going according to plan, young miss." The old man started to speak and report about the intel they've gathered while his wife serves tea and snacks to their guests.

"That's good then... just make sure to be careful. Let's go..." Xiuying stand up and left the cabin with Xue.

Upon arriving to Ying Yue, Xiuying decided to use the entrance instead of going to the secret pathway. Xue is puzzled by her young miss's action but she trusts her. Xiuying gracefully walk in the stairs. Her eye catching appearance caught the attention of the customers all are wondering who is she and why Manager Ba greeted her like a princess.

As they walk towards the third floor stairs, they bumped to Long Guanting. "Manager Ba greetings" Long Guanting greeted the old man who is with the lady haunting his dreams. "Ying Yue is truly flourishing I'm wondering if the owner have time to meet me. You don't have to worry I just want to talk to the person who have a brilliant mind to establish this."

Manager Ba was about to answer but Xiuying look at him and said "We don't have time for this, let's go..." ignoring Long Guanting.

The young man moved his body hindering the path of the master and servant duo.

I can't let this opportunity slide I need to know her name. Her eyes are beautiful...

Long Guanting who is known as a gentleman and one of the men that are most sought after by ladies but this time his action this time shocked Xue and Manager Ba.

"Manager Ba this is...?" Guanting eagerly asked not noticing that the irritated face of the manager when he blocked their path.

"Come here..." a magnetic voice of a man can be heard from the other side of the stairs going to the third floor. Hearing it, Xiuying walk forward without intention of stopping leaving no option for Guanting but to give way because man and woman of no relation should always be in proper distance and he doesn't want for the lady to have a bad impression of him. When Xiuying walk pass Guanting the latter can smell the mild and calming scent lavender and roses.

He turned back seeing a man wearing a black mask reaching out to help the lady go up the stairs. He clenched his fists and wants to confront the man who interrupted them but he suddenly felt shivers in his spine as he sees the killing intent in the eyes of the man who is looking down at him, unconciously his feet made a step back. Xue and Manager Ba followed Xiuying ignoring Guanting who can't moved from his position.
