Shortly after she came out of Class 1, Shu Nuan was stopped in the corridor by Sheng Gu .

Shu Nuan gawked at her .  

Sheng Gu glared at her with disdain, and said, “You don’t even greet me now? So you won’t put This Princess in your eyes, since you transferred to Class 1?

“I have the same status as Your Highness in the academy,” Shu Nuan replied .  

“You think too highly of yourself! No matter how high you climb up, the slave mark on your body will follow you for the rest of your life . Do you think you can get rid of your status as a slave?” Sheng Gu mocked, looking at her coldly .

Although the princess had been humiliating her, Shu Nuan didn’t care at all . She gave the princess a composed smile, as if these words meant nothing to her, and then turned to leave .  

But the princess grabbed her hand . Shu Nuan knitted her brows together and stared at the princess . With ease, she shook her hand and got rid of the grip in a snap . Sheng Gu hadn’t imagined the little girl would dare to shove her away . Giving her an incredulous stare, Sheng Gu said, “Are you going to fly into a rage because of the humiliations?”

Shu Nuan’s face was undisturbed . She replied, “Does Your Highness only know how to talk?”

She was so calm and indifferent, as if Shenggu had come here because she was unreconciled and  just provoke her to anger . On the contrary, she doomed herself in underneath . Sheng Gu bit her lip and hatefully glared at Shu Nuan . But what she was about to say stopped in her throat as a familiar voice from long ago came from behind her .

  “Little Gu?”

Sheng Gu turned back . She saw a woman walking across the stone steps . She was dressed in a leaden-blue colored brocade dress . Her long hair made her look noble, and her visage was elegance itself . Sheng Gu was in a daze, and her voice was sluggish as she said, “Xili… Sister Xili?”

“I can’t believe you actually came to the academy! This is unbelievable!” Ji Xili said as she walked over . She saw the girl next to Sheng Gu and smiled at her . “Are you Little Gu’s classmate?” 

Without waiting for Shu Nuan to speak, Sheng Gu frowned and refuted, “No . ”

Sheng Gu didn’t want to introduce the slave girl to Ji Xili right now, but she asked curiously, “Didn’t you go to the Nan Chao Kingdom? When did you come back?”
 

“I came back two days ago,” Ji Xili said as she smiled . “Are you in a hurry to go back?”

Sheng Gu shook her head .

Ji Xili said, “Why don’t you wait a minute? I have to find someone, and then I’ll take you back . ” 

Sheng Gu also smiled in response . “Alright . ”

After Ji Xili left, Sheng Gu turned to Shu Nuan again with a deliberate look . She curled her lips and asked, “Do you know who she is?”

“She is Uncle Ji’s daughter, and she grew up with my Fourth Uncle . You’re nothing more than a recent toy! You can’t even match Sister Xili’s finger!” Sheng Gu was so excited that she couldn’t keep up her breath, and finally coughed a few times

Shu Nuan looked at her and said, “Your Highness is better off with less excitement . ”

Without waiting for Sheng Gu to speak, Shu Nuan turned around and walked away . She had no spare time to argue any more .

Sheng Gu was left behind, furious .

But inside, she saw a girl in a white school uniform sitting at the table . Her dress collar was tidy but her hair was a little messy .
