He looked around and saw that no one was watching . Then he pried open the lock on the door and pushed it open .

Shu Nuan closed her eyes . Enduring the pain, she tried to pull her hand out of Sheng Lingyun’s grasp .

Noticing this little effort, Sheng Lingyun gripped her hand tighter the very next moment . Shu Nuan felt an unspeakable pain that made her forget to breath . The flesh in her body felt as if it was being torn apart .

Sheng Lingyun noticed her pain and relaxed his grip slightly . He looked at Shu Nuan with his head down, and proposed, “You… Will you come with This Prince? I will be better to you than Fourth Brother is! Sheng Gu is his niece, and so he has to take her feelings in consideration . But I don’t care for Sheng Gu! It is you that I like…”

Riding his horse through the market, Sheng Qianmo stopped and bought a book bag suitable for Shu Nuan’s size; she wouldn’t have to carry books by hand to the academy all the time .    

After returning to ShengHe Manor, the prince went directly to the Qin Hall . He guessed that Shu Nuan would be revising her lessons . However, when he entered the hall, he found that Shu Nuan’s books were neatly placed  on the couch and the brush was put aside on the ink slab .

No one was there .
