“There are 199 newly hired factory workers out of the 200 that we have gathered here.”

Adam displayed a newly modified roster of factory workers to Falma, who was currently visiting a factory in Mercedes territory. There was one worker who could not come due to a physical condition.

Out of the workers gathered here, 80% of them were male while the remaining 20% were women, and they all possessed clerical, technical, and manufacturing ability. In other words, they were ordinary factory workers. A Production Manager needed to have medicinal knowledge, so the person selected must be a first-class pharmacist who had been drafted from Teito and hand picked by Falma or a graduate from the Imperial Pharmaceutical School.

“Thank you, you have done a good job.”

“Only Falma could hire this many workers at once. Normally it is harder to hire this many people”

Ellen was impressed with Falma's excitement and financial strength.

“I do not really understand, but Falma is amazing.”

Lotte believed that there was nothing impossible for Falma when he decided to do it. Her reaction was exaggerated, but also serious.

“Since you said that the workers must be a healthy person who can calculate, read, and write, I decided to follow your wishes; all of them are excellent workers and there are some engineers who have experience in the wine factory.”

Adam continued his explanation as he displayed the roster.

“I will go greet everyone.”

Adam directed Falma and others to a brand new auditorium where the recruits had been gathered, from which one could hear the sound of many of irritated people. The auditorium was as large as an elementary school gymnasium and was a place to hold workshops, morning meetings, ceremonies, conferences, and so on.

“Here he is, our founder!”

Adam opened the door with such impact that the auditorium quieted down. Since the stage was positioned at the front of the auditorium, Adam brought Falma and Ellen to the ground level and introduced them briefly. As Lotte and Cedric were not pharmacists, they watched on from the top of the auditorium.

“I present to you, Falma de Medicis, a foreign pharmacist shop owner, court pharmacist, founder of the factory, and Eleonor Bonufoa, the first pharmacist of the pharmacy.”

During the introductions, Ellen stepped a short distance away from Falma and bowed.

“Thank you.”

Falma also bowed to them.

(What is this feeling?)

Falma felt that there were a lot of people looking at him. They were excellent and talented people who had passed Adam's test and had a proper education. They were not some ignorant workers. That being the case, their pride was also high.

Falma heard a curious voice among the workers say that he was a child.

Adam glared at them, but he didn't know who said it.

(Well, I am a child.)

Naturally, strong-minded Falma did not care at all. Since his appearance was that of a child, it was natural that he would be treated as such.

“In addition, we have decided to take on Falmsan as a professor at the Imperial Pharmaceutical School next year."

With a good-natured smile, Adam pointed to those from whom he had heard rude words.

Apparently, he seemed to have taken them poorly.

When the workers heard that, they calmed down and closed their mouths.

Intelligence.

As a university professor, being in a Knowledge Class professor is the highest honorary position. No matter whose son you were, even if you had money, you couldn't be appointed there without a good performance and ability.

No one questioned Falma's abilities.

(Everyone is weak against titles.)

“Well, I got introduced as the pharmacist and manager of a foreign pharmacy…”

Despite feeling somewhat awkward, Falma tried to give a new greeting when a surprised voice rang out from the crowd.

“Medicine God!”

“Wow!”

On hearing this, Falma screamed unexpectedly. Looking at those who came up, he saw that several villagers of [Estherk village] who had been employed. One of them had noticed and made a noise, so it seemed that everyone noticed it.

When he visited Estherk village, Falma had masked his appearance because he was traveling incognito, but his voice gave him away so he gave up.

As things stood, they had pushed themselves up to the stage, and they were likely to even pick up Falma.

“Why did you all come here all the way from Estherk village!? It's pretty far from here!”

The difficulty of Falma's work there had been extreme.

"Since the day I was healed by Medicine God, I understood the importance of drugs in sustaining the body. It is for this reason that I wanted to contribute to society through pharmaceuticals."

One of the villagers rubbed his nose.

It seemed that after the Black Death incident was resolved, the public health and sanitation had undergone a reform and become a conscious consideration for the villagers.

"That being said, Estherk village is a place where people do a lot of fishing. Even though the main fishing industry is still good, I wanted to move away. I wanted to become like you."

“Well, I did not think that I can meet the Medicine God again! Please shake hands with me!”

“Stupid, I am afraid of shaking hands,” Falma thought to himself

A random person shouted “I wonder, are you planning to make medicine for the Black Death at this factory?”

The villagers began trumpeting the achievements of Falma while gathering in front of the altar saying, “Please let me greet you first.”
