The moment that Noah finished clearing the 40th Wave of the Infinite Crucible, he chose to give up right away as just this single wave alone had nearly caused the deaths of him and his Units!

If he continued, the sequence that he had seemed so far would be him facing another 20 Gold Rift Bosses on the 41st through 44th Waves, and these numbers would then ridiculously double of the 45th Wave as he would face either 30 or 40 Gold Rift Bosses.

And that was just on the 45th Wave! Once he started the next ten waves, they would continue coming until he cleared the 50th Wave where he wouldn't be surprised to find a DIAMOND Boss waiting for him there!

He didn't want to lose his life in the Infinite Crucible and lose 10 days' worth of the boons of the Idle Gaming System, so he chose to see what the rewards would be from stopping at the 40th floor while he rested his exhausted body.

The results...were out of his wildest dreams as the [Tier 3 Treasure Trove] granted him too many things, but the most important was the 100,000 Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals!

He merely needed another 75,000 to fully max out the second Aether Half-Dragon, and now he even had extra when he finished this task due to the rewards of the Infinite Crucible.

He would have had to clear multiple floors of the Tower of Champions to achieve this, and yet the terrifying experience of the Infinite Crucible granted it to him after he barely passed the 40th Wave!

His exhausted body began to feel rejuvenated as he stared at the injured Aether Half-Dragons, feeling that at this moment, a huge change was about to occur as he took the steps towards DIAMOND Rank.

'I can't even say it's been a long time…'

He had a light smile as he thought about how quickly it had taken him to get here, being only a matter of days ago when he was still collecting Silver and Gold Units. Yet at this moment...he was ready to fuse his first DIAMOND Unit!

RUMBLE

A glorious light shone as he pumped all the required Gold Unit Upgrade Crystals, his tired body sitting down as he merely stared at the figures of two Aether Half-Dragons brimming with power.

It felt like a momentous occasion, and one that should be marked in history as it signified an enormous change within the Ethereal Realm!

"Fuse."

In a sense of profound calmness, he gave the command after the 2 Aether Half-Dragons were brought to the peak.

THRUUUM!

Mana began to rage.

With a glorious assortment of colors of gold and purple, the figures of the 2 Half-Dragons merged together, a milky white color beginning to be born as they were fused!

From the wondrous color of gold, it was gradually being wiped away as in a matter of seconds, the only colors left were the purple that represented the terrifying Aether Element, and the milky white color that represented...the rank of DIAMOND.

WAA!

The light released itself and washed past Noah's sitting figure and the figures of other Units that were staring towards it, a magisterial aura being released as an enormous creature made its appearance!

Wide spiked purple wings, a serrated tail filled with crystalline spikes, and dense purple scales that released rays of glorious light...the head of a genuine Dragon opened its eyes as they focused on Noah, causing an oppressive pressure that could suffocate a Gold Rank to spread out.

Towering over 50 meters, the creature was more than 25 times larger than a normal human being!

ROAAAAR!

It released a wondrous bellow to express its arrival, Noah not being able to help himself from having a smile erupt on his face.

This was partly because of the details of the new Unit, but also purely from the power he could sense from it! This was because the pressure Noah could feel from the DIAMOND Ranked Rift Boss in front of him seemed 10 times more oppressive than the one that the injured Warlord Steel released!

Having such a creature made him extremely confident when it came to his plan of simply flipping the whole board that was the Ethereal Realm and putting himself as the top player.

His confidence further rose when he looked at its details.

DIAMOND [Koddrys, The Champion of Aether] :: A full grown adult dragon of the Aether Element. It has gained masterful control of Aether as its enemies can be destroyed with a mere look. It's abilities include [Lightning Burst], [Aether Cage], [Destructive Ray], [Aether Rune Mark], [Aether Breath], and [Storm of Decimation].

A dragon!

A genuine, full grown dragon!

"Ah…"

Noah walked towards it and touched its scales, the enormous beast 25 times his size bringing its terrifying head down for him to stroke it subserviently.

The 2 remaining Aether Half-Dragons and other Units roared out weakly while bowing their heads down, a new king arriving among Noah's forces!

It was Koddrys, the Champion of Aether!

RUMBLE!

With shining eyes, Noah looked into its detail as he focused on the two new skills that were added with the advent of this Dragon.

[Aether Breath] :: The most common skill of the Dragon Race, with the element of Aether making it particularly destructive as a large region will be burnt to cinders.

[Storm of Decimation] :: The Champion of Aether calls forth an Aether Storm to ravage the surroundings, any enemies within the affected area only being left to wish for the sweet release of death.

A wondrous set of skills! Both of them having AOE Damage as they affected large areas, making Noah looked forward to when he cleared large droves of Dimensional Beasts in the Infinite Crucible again with a single cast of a skill!

RUMBLE

A brilliant light covered all of them as Noah and the Units were taken out of the Infinite Crucible after this, reappearing in the Waiting Room as Noah released a breath.

His gaze still lingering on the Dragon, he thought about how nearly 5 hours had passed while he cleared just 40 Waves of the Infinite Crucible.

With the addition of the Champion of Aether, this timer should drastically be reduced down as Noah could continue farming up to the 40th Wave every time to obtain the Gold Rank Treasure Trove that had 100,000 Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals!

If he just did it three times and obtained 300,000 Gold Rank Unit Upgrade Crystals...that was another DIAMOND Unit…

He also had the Tower of Champions to continue as he felt like he would come across a Diamond Rift Boss sometime in the next 10 floors, and the Tower was less dangerous than the Infinite Crucible as it didn't force him to complete 10 at once!

There were many things for him to plan and do, but he would revel in the achievement of obtaining a DIAMOND Rift Boss as he prepared to make a grand move against the experts of this new Realm he transliterated in.

From the stories he read back in his homeworld, the Rulers of the three Continents would all be vying for Hegemony by planning protracted wars and involving hundreds of thousands of Blessed Soldiers in the mix!

They would be at the front lines as the Golden Commanders or when their DIAMOND experts were introduced, but the war would involve a great deal of people even though a few beings were the ones at the very top fighting for resources and wealth.

"I won't play like that…"

RUMBLE

A chilling smile appeared on Noah's face as he planned!

He wouldn't raise an army or do the tedious task of slowly going city to city to stretch his influence within the Dark and Wild Continents.

With him obtaining a DIAMOND Rift Boss, he could directly go against the old fogeys at the very top that were fighting this war for their own reasons- and he would Subjugate or kill them as he bypassed all the strenuous process of creating armies or moving slowly!

With his Units, he would be his own army as all he had to do was decimate and defeat the most powerful DIAMOND experts of the Dark and Wild Continent- and then he could put everything else under his heel!

With absolute strength, things became easy.

The so called Dark King of the Dark Continent was just a DIAMOND Ranked expert. If he faced the terrifying Champion of Aether right now- a Rift Boss that was 10 times more powerful than an average Blessed...what prevented his death?!

After all was over and done, after he had taken down these old experts controlling the wars in the dark, he would finally be able to relax while collecting Idle Resources.

He would allow Rose and Annalise to establish order and rule as they saw fit while he gazed at everything from above, just enjoying the fruits of his labor!

He could do so after those responsible for the war were dead or subjugated, after those that caused the death of his parents were paid back in full.

RUMBLE!

With a heart full of plans and a terrifying DIAMOND Unit in his hands, Noah disappeared from the Waiting Room as he returned into the Ethereal Realm after over a day and a half had passed.

He returned as a new man!
