Modern Cinderella Chapter 64

Chapter 64

The Birthday Fairytale [7]

“Are you really fine? Lately, your body doesn’t seem to be doing fine…Do you want me to come with you to the hospital…”

“You should go back.” Hao Jun You didn’t seem to have noticed what Shi Lin had said. He faintly smiled…This faint smile was his specialty…

“Okay.” Shi Lin blinked her eyes. She didn’t want her tears to fall down. She didn’t want Hao Jun You to see…But, even if her tears had fallen, even if she stood right in front of Hao Jun You, how could he have seen anyway? In his eyes, there was only Moya, only Moya!

“What are you doing?” Moya angrily glared at Jin Ming Xian who unplugged the telephone wire.

“You hadn’t seen

him for ** and you missed him already?” Jin Ming Xian’s gaze flickered over to Moya’s slightly pursed lips.

“You!” Moya held her fist tightly! “Super prince disease!” However, Moya held down her anger. Who let today be Jin Ming Xian’s birthday. Aish~…

However speaking of birthdays, Moya helplessly sighed. Today seemed to be her birthday as well. But who had seemed to have remembered?

Shi Lin had left already. Hao Jun You sat on the sofa…The eyes used to look at the door were blurry…The blue crystal bottle in his hand appeared to be cold also…

“Pang!” All the lights in the house were off. Hao Jun You was surrounded by the darkness. His heart might’ve not had walked out of darkness in the

the first place. Even if it was the midsummer sunshine, that didn’t belong to him…

“Smash him! Quickly!” A few kids tossed the rock hard at the boy by the sidewalk as though their lives depended on it.

“This bearer of ill luck! Whoever is with him will all be unlucky! Quickly smash him!” Through bullying this kid, they had found another interest.

Yet the boy had not even moved. Maybe he was the bearer of ill luck. Otherwise, why would mom and dad be burned to death because of him…

“Stop!” A four-year-old girl blocked in front of the boy.

“Moya? Get out of the way! We don’t want to hit girls!” Those couple of kids assumed the position of a hero.

“But I hit boys!” The

boys!” The girl angrily held her fist tightly! “I’m telling you! Brother* Jun You is not a bear of ill luck! Plus he’s not a feral child! Now we all have mothers and fathers! Our mothers and fathers are the most admirable mothers and fathers in this world!!” Moya illustrated and made the shape of a teacup using her hands. She pointed at these dumbstruck children.

“Tut~!” The children looked at her in disdain.

“I do not believe it! Brother Jun You is not the bearer of ill luck!” The girl picked up the boy’s hand. “When I grow up, I will marry brother Jun You!” Her voice floated into the quiet boy’s heart.

“Cough! cough!” A sharp pain came from the chest. Hao Jun You Hao Jun You had coughed violently…His slightly raised mouth left a hint of bright red…

Moya held onto her chin. She was so tired that she couldn’t keep her eyes open. “You are really not going to sleep?” She looked at Jin Ming Xian who sat by the balcony.

“No need.” Jin Ming Xian looked the sky of stars…Need to look after the most important thing until daylight on birthdays… He was surprised! This statement had actually floated into his mind. Jin Ming Xian turned around and stared at Moya who was on the verge of falling asleep. “You can go sleep.”

“Ah?” Moya was shocked that Jin Ming Xian had said this. Didn’t he tell her to say to keep him entertained?
