Modern Cinderella Chapter 59

Chapter 59

The Birthday Fairytale [2]

“Jin Ming Xian isn’t here today?” Moya looked at Si Ming’s eyes.

Si Ming turned his head around, “Do you miss him?”

“No.” Moya lowered her head and played with the pen in her hand.

“Today is Ming Xian’s birthday.” Si Ming didn’t turn his head back.

“Birthday?!” Moya widened her eyes. “Then is he at home preparing for his birthday?” These rich young masters like Jin Ming Xian would probably have many people over for his birthday.

“No, do see the girls who were holding gifts in the school?” Si Ming exclaimed slowly.

“I saw, they’re really eye-catching.” All the girls who held a gift had dressed themselves

up beautifully…

“Ming Xian doesn’t like birthdays.”

“Why?! Why would there be someone who doesn’t like birthdays?” Moya laughed. Birthdays are so cool ah. There would be friends, gifts, and countless blessings…

“If you have time, go over to his place and take a look.” Si Ming took his gaze away from the window and leaned on his desk.

“Oh.” Even though Moya thought his statements were random, she still cooperated and agreed. Moya doodled on the paper with her pen…Today, should I really go over to Jin Ming Xian’s place?…

The faint tea fragrance had floated around….and spread…

“Young master.” The old housekeeper placed the teacup next to the table beside Jin

Jin Ming Xian.

Jin Ming Xian closed his eyes, sitting in the flowerless garden…

“Young master, are you not going to eat something?” The old housekeeper looked distressfully at Jin Ming Xian. Even since last night, he hadn’t eaten anything. “Is young miss Moya not coming today?” Yesterday Jin Ming Xian had told him to prepare for today. When the old housekeeper had heard that Jin Ming Xian was going to have a birthday today, he was extremely ecstatic….But…

Jin Ming Xian scrunched his eyebrows. He didn’t answer the old housekeeper’s question…

“Then you should rest soon. I’ll head off.” The old housekeeper respectfully left…

Jin Ming Xian slowly opened his eyes. His

eyes. His eyes contained faint loneliness…Maybe it was because the glacier had melted, that pair of beautiful eyes were surrounded with moisture…

“Young miss?!” The old housekeeper was shocked and joyful! He stared at Moya who stood in the lounge.

“Hehe…hello.” Moya foolishly grinned. She told Hao Jun You that she went to You Mei’s house for prep yet she had ended up here…

“Young miss Moya, you’re here for the young master, right? He’s in the garden right now!” The old housekeeper ‘rushed’ to grab Moya’s hand. “Come on, quickly!”

“Hehe…” Moya struggled to keep up with the old housekeeper. She looked at his whole head full of white hairs. “You are hairs. “You are really old but vigorous ah!”

The old housekeeper slowed down his footsteps. “Look, the young master is over there. You can go there by yourself, young miss.” The old housekeeper softly walked off…

In the flowerless garden, Jin Ming Xian leaned against the pavilion’s pillar…His face was slightly raised up…His eyes were softly closed…The green tea in the back had a faint tea fragrance which floated around…

“Jin Ming Xian?” Moya carefully headed in Jin Ming Xian’s direction. Si Ming said that he doesn’t enjoy birthdays so his feelings right now wouldn’t be that good. Therefore, she needed to be cautious and not rush up just to become cannon fodder….
