Rachel smirked seeing the message than turned her focus towards her best friend. She held her hand and took her to her room "Come let's do the homework and then you can stay here the night because it is already quite late."

Jasmine's anger vanished like a bubble and she was really happy at that offer so she nodded her head in agreement. Rachel gave her a beautiful smile and then they went back to studying and after they finished it Rachel lend her pajamas to Jasmine and they lay down on the same bed as good friends but what Rachel didn't know was that her best friend was now not the same but had feelings for her.

She switched off the lights and quietly closed her eyes wishing her friend good night. Jasmine lay there with her eyes open staring at Rachel, she just wanted to kiss her at this moment but she controlled herself and kept staring at her with longing eyes as is she was the sky and she herself was the earth which could seem to meet at horizon but could never actually meet.

Jasmine stared at her for most part of the night and this time she finally realized that it was better to be her best friend than to lose her trying to develop a new relationship. She decided she would let her friend better be the untouchable horizon than try to ruin what they had, thinking about it she fell asleep.

She was really grateful that she spent the night at Rachel's because the morning was totally different for her as she had resolved her feelings looking at her innocent face. She decided that it would be better for her if she stayed away from Rachel for some time to get over her so she woke up early in the morning and slowly slipped out of the house while Rachel was still asleep. She didn't live with her parents who were abroad so she decided to go visit them. She packed her bag and left a voicemail to Rachel telling her the truth about her feelings and then went to the airport to board the first flight that she had booked.

Rachel woke up to see the empty bed beside her, she searched for her phone around and then she saw Jasmine's message. She loved her best friend so much maybe not the same way she did but she had to meet her before she left. She hurriedly got ready and left to see Jasmine.

She ran into the airport and spotted Jasmine sitting on the chair waiting for her flight, she ran towards her and hugged her from behind giving her a peck on her cheek "How could you do this, I am your best friend and you can not run away from me, I will help you overcome whatever you are going through but please don't leave me." she said with tears in her eyes, Jasmine turned around and hugged her "Why are you crying idiot, it's not like I am going forever, I will be back very soon." she said pulling her away.

"You promise." Rachel asked in a broken voice but Jasmine stayed strong and with the brightest smile she nodded fearing that her voice will reveal her tears too and with this she could not endure longer and ran for the check in with tears in her eyes which Rachel could not see.
