Chapter 9*

An XuMo's back hurts so much. The place that was hit is burning with a stabbing pain, even breathing make the injury hurt. All the trainees are about twenty years old, so even if they don't have that much skill, the power of a staggering blow still couldn't be ignored. Also, there isn't a lot of meat on An XuMo's body so the bat is hitting directly on his bone. Listening to that sound makes people tooth ache.       

But in front of Han Ming whose hand is stretched out to lift him up, An XuMo didn't show any fluctuation. He took his right hand away from that person's palm, lowered his voice and said, "Thank you, senior. I am fine."        

He walked to one side but doesn't walk far. He slowly bends his back and picks up the cell phone that was dropped by the brown-haired boy.

At the side, Chen Li already hung up the phone. Her eyes shift to the seven trainees, standing side by side. The respectful look she had during the phone call had disappeared, only remaining a dark shadow of uncertainty. Under this kind of look, the trainees become more rigid. Each one hung their head, wishing to bury their heads in their chest. They don't even dare to breathe heavily.            

Chen Li is very angry so she intends to ignore them. Zhou JinChen's position in JinDian is not as simple as just a famous star. Chen Li's division and the high officials seldom intersect. So never would she thought that the first time talking to Zhou JinChen is about this situation.

Xin ZiMai was the first to call Chen Li. She was surprised when she heard the other party mentioning the company artists' management problem. After all, this kind of problem doesn't really impact her because she is only responsible for the trainees. But Xin ZiMai insisted that she should go to the trainees' practice area. So Chen Li, who was in the office on the lower floor, walked to the dance room. Right now is break time, the dance room is already empty. Never would she thought that when she just walked to this level, she would hear a person shouting curses.

On the way there, Chen Li also meet Han Ming, who she has brought here before. Han Ming had just finished discussing the new song with the line dance teacher. Originally, he wanted to greet her before leaving. But after hearing that sound, it is not good to leave Chen Li alone so they went together.        

Right now, this situation attracts the two artists in so there is no way to downplay it. Chen Li reluctantly suppressed the anger in her chest, she turned to An XuMo and said, "Xiao An, is it? I remember you, you're not hurt, right? Can you tell me what happened?"         

AnXuMo was looking down at his phone. On the screen, the call is still connected. He doesn't know why the other party didn't hang up. But he isn't willing to end the call, he hasn't even heard Zhou JinChen's voice yet.      

After hearing Chen Li's questions, An XuMo raised his head and glanced at the seven people who looked like dirt. No one dared to look up at him.    

"Thank you, Sister Chen," An XuMo thought, "I am not sure. I just finished training when they came over and push me into this room.

Chen Li frowned, she is very clear about XuMo's situation. Besides himself, he doesn't have other assistance. Who knows that he will be under Xin ZiMai's protection until today. This made Chen Li have no choice but to give An XuMo a new value.        

However, no matter what, this decision must make them satisfied. Chen Li reassure An XuMo with a few words. Then she dials the phone. Facing the seven people, one by one she said their names. After that, she said to the other party, "Pull out all seven's contract and hand it to Chief Inspector Xin."        

When she finished, the few who were waiting to be reprimanded, their hearts directly fall onto the ground.   

This outcome is much more grave than Chen Li's scolds. Even though Chen Li is also an experienced manager, her authority could not be compared to Xin ZiMai's, who was involved in top teams early on. Even trainees, she doesn't have the authority to directly expel them. But Xin ZiMai is different, no matter what he wants to do with these trainees, he wouldn't overstep his authority.            

After sending them away, Chen Li still didn't acknowledge the trainees. She saw that Han Ming is still here so to Han Ming she said, "Right, last time you choose a dance partner for the new single. It just happened that Xiao An is also one of the candidates. Today is a bit of a mess, but at least you guys know each other in advance. After choreographing, you need to work together."               

She said this to comfort An XuMo, but she accidentally stabbed a knife into the seven trainees' chest. The reason why they are beating An XuMo is that they feel like they were robbed of resources. And An XuMo is always alone, his family doesn't have any background. So that's why they act this outrageous. Who would have thought An XuMo not only gain resources but also brought in such a powerful reinforcement soldier.            

Several people's hearts are filled with frustration. Chen Li ignored their reasoning, not even letting them have a chance to plead for mercy.     

The trainees never thought that even Han Ming answered, "Xiao An is very capable so I noticed him early on. Don't worry, Sister Chen. There definitely wouldn't be a problem with our cooperation."

The seven trainees feel more and more shocked. What kind of connections does this An XuMo have that everyone needs to protect him?

The anger in the trainees' heart was not appeased. But An XuMo did not notice this, he gave the two, Chen Li and Han Ming, a short thanks. He apologetically said, "I am sorry, I still haven't finished the phone call."       

Han Ming was the first to reply, "Go and call first. How about I take you out?"  

He gave Chen Li a signal. Chen Li wasn't able to find An XuMo's background, but it is not good to force him. She said, "Go, go. Today, you were frightened so go back and get a good rest. Leave this to me."       

Han Ming and An XuMo went out of the dance room together. The sky outside is already dark. An XuMo wants to excuse himself from Han Ming's company, but the other party said that they should leave together and it is not good for An XuMo to say anything more. He looked at the lit screen, took a shallow breath and his voice lowered, "……Hello?"          

On the other side of the phone, Zhou JinChen, who has witnessed the whole incident, his complexion has become ugly.  

After leaving Xin ZiMai to book a restaurant, he wanted to call his brother who had drifted apart for a long time. But An XuMo's curriculum is intense. When he called, An XuMo has already gone to class. Fortunately, the restaurant is not far from JinDian. After the exclusive interview, first, Zhou JinChen went to the restaurant and then he decided to wait before calling An XuMo again.           

After waiting at the restaurant, Zhou JinChen's mood has become less wonderful. His colleague, Xin ZiMai, hasn't had the chance to leave before he was dragged into the restaurant.      

The food that was booked has already arrived in front of the other party. Zhou JinChen's voice is dyed with an obvious depression, "Non-fried chicken breast, avocado salad, and fat-free yogurt. This is what you choose for dinner?"     

Xin ZiMai rubbed his nose, "Isn't it very healthy.

Zhou JinChen's finger run through the row of numbers at the bottom of the menu, leaving a distinct gray mark on the white menu. His voice became slower and more constricted, "Yes, healthy food would clearly bring out all the calories."      

Xin ZiMai lightly coughed, "This, is really strange to me but Xiao An's manager did say this. I saw Xiao An's contract and what he signed is not a contract. The company will only provide him with resources because of his idol identity. You also know that the characteristics of an idol are different from that of an actor. Maybe he is trying to maintain his physique?"            

Zhou JinChen looked at him without emotions. He took out his phone and called An XuMo. He planned to ask for An XuMo's opinion. If the other party chooses something else, he will change to another restaurant. He never thought that when the call connected, a strange crash would happen on the other side.            

After that, the sounds become even weirder. Zhou JinChen frowned. He pulls his phone further away. Just in case his movement was detected, he lowered his voice. To Xin ZiMai, he said, "Call the person in charge of those trainees, just say that something happened over there."        

Xin ZiMai was looking down and researching the calories in the food, pretending that he wasn't there. He was taken back, but Zhou JinChen's expression is not fake. He hurriedly took out his phone and directly called Chen Li.     

On the phone, Chen Li doesn't understand what is going on. She still promises to go but she needs time to go there. Seeing that the sounds coming from the phone is becoming more and more off-putting like he is hanging by the thread. Zhou JinChen copies the menu that was served by the waiter. And suddenly, dropped the snow white menu on the floor.    

"Bang!"

The high-end restaurant's environment is elegant and highly private. But their displays were still arranged to be semi-open. A loud bang interrupted the beautiful music and the entire restaurant became focused on them.      

Xin ZiMai couldn't help but facepalm. Under the watchful eyes of the public, he tried to maintain a calm facial expression. He urged the Chen Li on the phone while painfully putting this restaurant on the blacklist.     

……..In the future, they must never come to this restaurant again.
