Make my Mom Fall in Love with Dad 9 A melodramatic morning

The talk with his dad was a good start to his day, he feels more confident to have another ally by his side. The atmosphere while the family eat was bright and joyful and once in a while Lila would tease Damon about how infatuated he was with Hestia.

"Dad how come you never told us about your heart disease, if it were not for mom telling me about it I would never know." The light atmosphere surrounding the family suddenly turned gloomy. Damon's accusing and hurt tone was too heavy you can almost cut it in half.

Leo was surprised and confused when he heard his son's statement, as far as he knows he is in good health. Knowing what happened, Leo asked his wife for explanation. "How come I never knew that I have a heart disease? Can you explain this dear wife?"

Being in the spotlight, Lila busy herself on picking her food. She intend to ignore her husband and son but their glare was intense. "Fine, I made that up. But I was going to tell the truth eventually," she peek through her bangs and saw her son's angry glare and her husband's disapproving look. "I'm sorry, really sorry!" Lila looked at her son with pleading eyes.

Heaving a sigh, Damon massage his temple. He was worried sick for nothing, "I can't believe you would use such tricks mom, that was too cruel of you."

Lila was now realizing how horrible her schemes were, she was too blinded by her selfishness to comprehend the pressure and hurt she put on her son. "I...I..." feeling the intense guilt Lila broke down and cried.

Seeing his wife break down, Leo moved to hug her. "Lila, I know how you feel but you went too far this time. I hope this incident would be a good lesson for you." Leo comforted his wife but he will not tolerate such behavior.

The gloomy atmosphere shrouded the whole dining area, none of the maids dare to leave the kitchen and be soffucated by sadness.

"Good morning everybody! hey, what's with this drama?" The energetic entrance of Lance was defeated by the gloominess radiating from his family. "What happened?" Lance was curious to know what brought such sadness to her mom and who piss his brother.

Leo who saw his second son signaled him to quiet down, but Lance ignored his father and went to sit beside his brother. "So what happened bro?" Lance had a suspicion that this whole melodramatic scene was because of his mom's 'get a grandchildren plan'.

Damon who was already piss became even more annoyed because of his blabbermouth brother. "Can't you tell that were having a disagreement?"

Lance was already munching the bread when his brother decided to answer him. "You should just ignore mom's evil plans." He was going to give some advice but then a spoon hit his forehead. "Hey mom that hurts! I was going to convince Damon to forgive you, hey! put down the fork mom!" Lance dodged when he saw the fork coming straight towards his forehead. "Am I not your son? how could you throw things at me mom!" he said with a hurt expression.

"Hhmmp..! stay out of this Lance and stop bothering your brother, it is my fault so if Damon can't forgive me it is just only right for me to accept it. I can only wait for his forgiveness." Lila said with a sad smile. Knowing the severity of her actions, she is willing to wait until her son forgives her and to show her integrity she will for now on support Damon's decisions regarding his future.

"Then no more blind dates for Damon?" Lance asked.

Wiping her tears, Lila smiled with sincerity in her eyes. "Yes no more blind dates for your brother besides he already has a girlfriend and they already have a son."

Lance chocked on the rice he was chewing, the scene was so comical that thay heard giggles from the kitchen. "You are truly an idiot." Damon smirked at him before handing him a glass of water.

"cough....cough.... jeezz thanks, do you know it takes a lot of talent to act like an idiot."

Damon raised his brow and shakes his head in perplexity.
