"I am sorry Ms. Walters for coming late, where is Ichigo?" Hestia scanned the room to look for her son. She run towards Ichigo when she saw the bruises on his arms, "what happened? where are you hurting?" Hestia was worried sick when she heard about the fight. She wanted to cry but she held it in, she wants to be strong for her son.

Ichigo wiped the tear from his mother's eye, "I am okay mom, nothing big happened it was just a misunderstanding." Ichigo hug his mom, he wants to ease his mothers concerns and worries. Hestia hugged Ichigo back, "did they bully you?" she looked straight at her son's eyes, "please Ichigo from now on tell mom about this kinds of things, everything that concerns you or troubles you, you must tell mom okay so that I can protect you sweetheart." Ichigo nod his head, he wiped the tears that he strongly held in.

Hestia also cried with her son, the mother and son cried their sadness and helplessness. Seeing this heart wrenching scene, Damon vowed to protect his family for the rest of his life.

"Hush... Ichigo, Hestia from now on nobody can bully the both of you anymore. I'll protect you two from any harm, so please stop crying it is breaking my heart to see both of you cry like this." Damon hugged and comforted his family. He patiently waited for the two to calm down, he even wiped their tears with care. "Why don't we go home so that the both of you can rest." Damon held Hestia's hand while he carried Ichigo in his other arm. The two meekly allowed Damon to guide them, Hestia did not even mind holding Damon's hand she was just grateful to have him by their side.

The trio then said their goodbyes to the head teacher and to Ms. Walters before walking towards the door. They walk comfortably in silence, none of them tried to talk. They are too immersed in the tranquil feeling that surrounds them.

Hestia who is now calm, tried to pull her hands away from Damon's hold. She was too embarrassed to face the man, her efforts to separate their intertwined fingers was unsuccessful. She looked at the man holding his son with so much care and love, she wished that Damon was truly Ichigo's biological father. She blushed when Damon gave her a charming smile. Quickly looking away, Hestia focused her attention on the floor but time and time again she would sneek a peek at Damon's direction. He really is handsome, he possess amber eyes that can read you like an open book, his aristocratic nose is slightly crooked which only adds to his dangerous good looks, and those sensual lips are just begging to be kissed. She also noticed a faint scar from his left eyebrow going downwards stopping just above his eye.

'I wonder how he got that scar?'

Hestia who was eyeing Damon didn't notice the rock causing her to stumble forward. She was expecting to hit the pavement but her fall was stopped before her face hit the ground. Sighing in relief, Hestia thanked Damon, looking up she saw him smirk at her and then it hit her that he was aware of her ogling him, her face then turned as red as the reddish apple.

Seeing the embaraased look of Hestia made Damon chuckle, he was perfectly aware that the girl was eyeing him. The approving look the girl gave him boost his confidence further, he knows that he is good looking but seeing the mesmerized look of someone precious to you is more assuring than a thousand compliments.

"Do you find me attractive Hestia?" He asked Hestia to see more of her reactions to his teasing.

Hearing the question, Hestia covered her face with her free hand and then nod to his question.

Satisfied at her answer, Damon tugged her even closer to him, he then encircled his arm around Hestia's waist. Damon's action made Hestia blushed like a teenager in love.

Noticing the redness of Hestia's ears, Damon bend and whisper to her "Then we are even because I also find you attractive. To be honest your the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." Hearing the squeak from Hestia made Damon's day perfect.

Feeling the breath of Damon near her neck gave Hestia goosebumps and his words made her heart beat so fast that she felt like she run a marathon. Hearing the man beside him laugh made her pout, "What's so funny?"

Damon looked at Hestia with a carefree smile, "I am just happy to have you and Ichigo in my life." She never expected this answer from him so her reaction was quite funny. Her eyes are as wide as a saucer and her lips was in an "o" shape. "Wh-what no-nonsense are you.... s-saying!"

Looking at her cute reaction, Damon can't resist the urge to kiss Hestia on the lips. Her words were cut off when Damon kissed her, it was the gentlest kiss she ever experienced. The kiss then deepen in which both Damon and Hestia forgot that they have an audience, only when they heard a cheering sound, Hestia broke the kiss.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" Ichigo cheered and clapped at seeing how his parents kiss.

Damon chuckled and pinch his son's chubby cheeks, "Well then you must stay with your grandparents tonight because me and your mom are going on our honeymoon."

"Then I want a baby sister!" Ichigo said enthusiastically.

Damon looked at Hestia when he heard her gasped, wanting to tease her more Damon answered with a smirk "Well son let us hope that are first try will be a baby sister but don't worry we will not stop until we give a sister, isn't that right sweetheart?" He looked at Hestia with a wide smile on his face.

"Kyaah..... stop saying embarassing things to my son!" Hestia punches Damon's arm, while Damon and Ichigo laughed merrily.

"Well, well. Look who we have here." The three of them looked at the stranger leaning on Damon's car.
