In less than ten minutes, the specters that were hiding in every corner of Mythical Continent had started to attack every living creature that was nearby—both monsters and players… After being slaughtered, their corpses would then split open and skeleton-type specters would walk right out of them . These skeletons came in various forms, retaining the level and abilities from before their deaths . Using this method, the Undead army had been expanding rapidly across the continent .

To make matters worse, the continent's monsters were also re-spawning; and right after that, they were all slaughtered by the specters again . This led to a snowball effect, increasing the number of the Undead army at an alarming rate .

As the number of specters increased in the wild, many players decided to return to the city and wait for the impending Undead invasion . The areas they got to play in the wild had decreased so much that it was difficult to gain Experience Points out there anymore and they were hoping to kill the Undead army when they reached the cities—earning them tons of Experience Points in one go .

However, as soon as they returned to the cities, they realized the situation was much dire than they thought . A system message then broadcasted in their ears,

“During the siege of the city, teleportation services out of the city is banned!”

“All combatants are required to head to the frontline to fend off the Undead army!”

“The kingdom's army had been sent to the major cities for the siege . All combatants are required to defend the cities… if the city falls, the Honor Points of every player in the city would be reduced to zero!”

“Players who log off would also be affected by this penalty . ”

There were many players who were completing quests and hunting treasures at the time, and so, when they received private messages from their friends from the cities, they were not able to head back to aid them in time…

This happened to both the Angel and Demon Factions .

Yet, compared to the Demon Faction that had already established its Eight Leagues, this crisis was much more ominous for the Angel Faction; this being especially true when the clans were working very hard to acquire more Honor Points…

Facing off a huge tsunami of Undead Hordes, it would seem inevitable that the smaller towns and cities were to fall to the hands of these specters . Not every town and city had their own garrisons of Tier 5 veteran Champions after all, making it almost impossible to fend off the hordes and Liches!

Yet, to the stronger players, this “Undead Invasion” was a huge opportunity!

In the meantime, the Fallen Angels, Bauhinia Clan and Violent Army Clan had finished collecting the loot; and the twenty fallen players had also rejoined their parties after being resurrected by the three clans' Radiant Priests and Priestesses .

Noises and screams of chaos could be heard from each clan's chat channels . News about the impending Undead army was constantly mentioned, again and again . After hearing the reports that Ace of Spades had compiled from the chat channels, Qin Ruo was able to grasp the gravity of the situation . The Mythical Continent was in grave danger .

After pondering for a few seconds, Qin Ruo turned and faced the hundreds of eager sparkles from the eyes of the three clans' members… the Undead Invasion was indeed a terrifying nightmare but no one was in despair . This was because the “Winter Demon”, the Clan Leader of the Fallen Angels, had returned!

In addition, the infamous Netherclaw, Snowmelt, and Dark Dragon—the “Three Big Bad” of Netherspirit's Claw had also lost to them earlier . Two of the Three Big Bad were still lying lifelessly in the Death Valley, together with the other two dozen Netherspirit's Claw's Champions' corpses .

This day marked the dawn of the glory of Fallen Angel League .

There was nothing to fear .

“Sis Violet . ”

Before talking to the crowd, Qin Ruo smiled at Violet Orchid . The latter understood what he had in mind and replied, “Go on . Talk to them . Your Sis Violet and Bauhinia Clan are all here for you . ”

“Violent Army Clan will support you too !”

Dinosaurcerer, seeing Violet Orchid's valiant support for his best friend, also stood out and pledged his allegiance .

Moved by this, Qin Ruo nodded and then turned to the militia before him, “Everyone! A crisis befalls us! This affects everyone, every clan! Many of our friends and brethren would have their Honor Points wiped clean, leading to a massive blow to everyone's progress in Honor!”

This Undead Invasion was so vast that it shook billions of players in “Honor and Glory” . Even though there were only a select few towns and cities which were under attack at the moment, it would not take long before the Undead swept over to the other hundred-thousand towns and cities in Mythical Continent…

There were only about a hundred-thousand Tier 5 players in the game at the moment, and each clan probably only had a few thousand Tier 5 players in their ranks . It was impractical for Qin Ruo and his militia to save every single town and city .

It was inevitable that some players would lose all their Honor Points!

“What we ought to do now is to check how many of our clans' brethren are trapped in the cities, and also their Honor Points . ”

“Sis Violet, Dino! Get in contact with the clan members that are trapped in the cities . Have them report their Honor Points and the combat situation at their respective cities…”

By doing that, we could minimize our losses and still maintain our clans' development and expansion . ”

Everyone nodded .

“Good! Let's head back!”

“We'll head to Whitewater Town first . Take out the Lich and lift the ban on the Warp Portal . Then, we'll split into three groups and head to the cities and towns that need our help the most!”

Qin Ruo's orders were flawless . Everyone from the three-clan militia received their orders with a roaring cheer . Even the usually calm and composed Homme Fatale could not help but smile in approval .

At Whitewater Town…

A series of beams shot into the town's warp portal . Then, swarms of players headed to the four entrances of the town . They stormed into the stores for supplies, and into the inn to party up . Whitewater Town was brimming with the sounds of life . A short moment later, thousands of players started clashing with the skeletons and specters outside of the four entrances of the town .

It was difficult to imagine that only fifteen minutes ago, Whitewater Town was serene and quiet .

Yet now, there were specters of various kinds, marching towards the town . There were even two Liches hovering behind the horde . As they stormed towards the Liches, more and more players had found themselves materializing back at the Resurrection Portal—they were killed instantaneously by the Liches and forced to resurrect . The bodies they left behind on the battlefield were then all turned into skeletons .

“Forced Resurrection?! You must be kidding me!”

“Hey! That Skeleton Priest thing came out of my corpse!”

“Holy fuck!”

“How are we going to win this? We'll all be sent back here the moment we die, and the Undead Horde would get free recruits! And they could also revive their fallen soldiers too!”

Not far away from the Warp Portal, an Archer who had a Bauhinia insignia on his chest started murmuring something in silence as he saw this depressing sight . Then, in the next second… a glaring light shone upon the Warp Portal as several white light-particles dropped from the sky . Then, reflections of Dark Gold and Chromatic equipment could be seen shining from within the portal!

Over a hundred and seventy Tier 5 champions had returned! The instant they walked out of the Warp Portal, the wailing from the fallen players stopped . They were undoubtedly overjoyed!

The cavalry's here!

The archer immediately rushed towards the champions' side . He was a new recruit of the Bauhinia Clan . It was him that Violet Orchid had stationed in Whitewater Town; to monitor the town and to prevent other clans from heading toward Death Valley .

“Sis Violet!”

“Nice work, Little Feng . Get some rest, you must be tired . ”

Violet Orchid was always kind and friendly toward everyone . Rejuvenated by her beautiful smile, the Bowmaster who had been standing next to the warp portal for over fifty minutes, felt a blanket of warmth in his heart . He scratched his head shyly and replied, “Tired? Nah… you've all gone through much worse… Oh, yes…”

Little Feng then looked at one of the entrances with a frown, “Twenty minutes ago, Netherclaw and a dozen of his men walked out from the portal . The weird thing was that Dark Dragon and Snowmelt appeared from the Resurrection Portal . ”

“Ah, that… you can learn more about it from the others later…”

Violet Orchid sighed in relief after hearing that the Netherspirit's Claw had all left Whitewater Town . She then inquired further, “How's the situation outside the town?”

“Well…”

“There aren't many high tier specters . Most of them are just low-level skeletons . Still, their numbers were increasing very quickly . Oh, and there are two Liches out there . One of them in the north while the other in the west . ”

“Furthermore, after the players had been all killed, they would all be immediately resurrected in the Resurrection Portal . No players could resurrect the fallen players in the battlefield because their corpses would be all turned into skeletons . The skeletons' abilities and levels are the same as the players who were slain . ”

“West and North? That's good info . What else?” Qin Ruo approached inquisitively .

The young archer was surprised as he instinctively scanned Qin Ruo!

“The Winter Demon Qin Ruo!”

After squealing in surprise, Little Feng realized that he had behaved in a disorderly manner . He quickly apologized and then continued to report, “Leader Qin, there are a few Spectral Shamans in the Undead Horde . They could revive the slain specters really fast!”

“Spectral Shamans…”

It was as Qin Ruo thought . This horde consisted of low-level specters and a few Spectral Shamans . With the Liches leading these Undead creatures, ordinary players wouldn't stand a chance .

“Sis Violet, Dino! I'll take care of the Lich on the northern side . I'll leave the one in the west to you! And I'll also send someone to take care of the Spectral Shamans too . ”

“Hell yeah! Oh, let's spice things up! Let's see who defeats a Lich first . The one who loses will need to treat the winner to a feast at Moonlit Restaurant . “Dinosaurcerer was always good with these weird suggestions .

The Fallen Angels were all excited and agreed with the suggestion, “Oh yeah!”

“Boss! Let's take up the challenge!”

Qin Ruo smiled wryly .

'You fools! Bauhinia and Violent Army Clans are twice the size of our clan . They also have Homme Fatale on their side . If he works together with Violet Orchid, a Radiant Priest, it will not take long before the Lich drops dead . This is a losing bet . '

Yet, seeing that everyone was so eager to try… he had no reason to refuse .

After agreeing to the bet, Qin Ruo brought his men dashed towards the north side of the town .
