MMO: Pierce Heaven Til' It Breaks 911 Unconscious

Bai Xiaoya had never had much of a reputation. Many players had fallen prey to her ploys in the past, and it was even worse now. She actually led a flock of Bird People around, searching out her past enemies, triggering widespread fury and contempt.

The person Bai Xiaoya hated the most was Li Yi, without a doubt. If it were not for Li Yi, the Fluttering Snow Alliance would have long since conquered the world, and she would have become King of Pantheon's strongest military advisor.

Li Yi was the one who threw a wrench into all of the Fluttering Snow Alliance's plans.

The grudge between the two of them was too long and complicated to explain or dissolve. Li Yi never spared Bai Xiaoya whenever he saw her, and vice versa. Whenever Bai Xiaoya saw the opportunity, she would make sure to attack Li Yi ruthlessly.

Bai Xiaoya led the Winged Ones around, conquering the land. Once she was satisfied with what she saw of the Winged Ones' power, she immediately pointed them toward Li Yi's Starting Point City.

Several hundreds of thousands of Winged Ones flew toward the North Pole Continent, surrounding Starting Point City from all sides.

The Winged Ones could not demolish a player city, but Bai Xiaoya could!

The once-powerful Imperial Spirit Guards were like ornaments in the face of the Winged Ones. The hundreds of thousands of Winged Ones killed every NPC inside Starting Point City within ten minutes.

Bai Xiaoya gave the order to set the city ablaze, and soon enough, everything was on fire. The city Li Yi had spent several months building instantly went up in flames.

Jiaojiao, Little Elf from the Magical Realm, Fire Ice, The Cat that Sings, even Xu Man, Xu Yue, and the Wutong sisters all returned to the city to help. However, the combined forces of the Winged Ones and the Fluttering Snow Alliance meant that their efforts could only serve to prolong the inevitable.

Brother Windcloud Nine and Chen Yang received the news and immediately brought reinforcements. Unfortunately, by the time they got there, all that remained was rubble and smoke. Starting Point City was no more.

By then, Bai Xiaoya had led the Winged Ones away.

"Bai Xiaoya, I swear I'll make you pay for this!" Brother Windcloud Nine was so angry that he spammed the World Channel with more than a hundred messages.

Chen Yang swore too. "Bai Xiaoya, I'll f*ck you in your f*cking mouth! I'll f*ck you in your f*cking mouth!"

"Where's Dark Wing? Where's Dark Wing?"

It was only after they swore at Bai Xiaoya that they realized Dark Wing was nowhere to be seen.

Jiaojiao was the only one who knew where Li Yi was, but this time, she chose to remain silent.

Li Yi was in the Void Dimension. Jiaojiao tried to defend the city and died more than ten times before she ran to his room in a huff, but when she saw what Li Yi was doing, she immediately shut her mouth and told no one about what she saw.

Jiaojiao saw that Li Yi was lying unconscious in the Void Dimension. She shook him several times but could not wake him up at all.

This meant that Li Yi was in the Deep Dive Mode. Forget shaking him, even if Jiaojiao played booming music by his ear, there was no way she could wake him up.

 There were only two ways to attain Deep Dive, either by choosing it or by triggering a quest. In the latter, the player would be pulled into Deep Dive to avoid any interruptions.

Jiaojiao could tell at a glance that this was happening to Li Yi right now.

What did it matter if she tried to tell Li Yi now? He was lost in that mode now, so it was not like he could do anything about it.

"Dark Wing's a coward…"

"Hmph, he's chickening out again, after all these years."

"Tsk-tsk, his major city was destroyed, but he won't even show his face."

Many players were already taunting him on the World Channel.

"Listen up, citizens of the Ninth Continent. Tonight at 8 pm, we're attacking Sky Island!"

"Listen up, citizens of the Savage Continent. Tonight at 8 pm, we're allying with the Ninth Continent and attacking Sky Island to f*ck up Bai Xiaoya!"

Brother Windcloud Nine and Chen Yang were properly pissed off, and what happened to Starting Point City served as a wake-up call to them. If they did not attack Bai Xiaoya now, the next one to suffer such losses would most likely be them.

"F*ckers, let's f*cking go!"

Brother Windcloud Nine and Chen Yang kept spamming Li Yi with messages, but to their surprise, the messages seemed to go nowhere. In their Friend Pane, Li Yi's DP stayed grayed out the whole time.

"Forget it, even without Brother Dark Wing, we gotta get back at them for this!"

"Well said! That f*cking b*tch Bai Xiaoya has gone too far! If we don't teach her a lesson, she'll grow way above her station." Chen Yang was even more agitated than Brother Windcloud Nine.

Both of these kings were rather impatient, and they walked their talk as soon as they said it. They made the national announcement to all of their citizens in the day and attacked Sky Island that night itself.

Sky Island had just been set on fire, and there were plumes of smoke everywhere. Only the Winged Ones' Mother Tree at the very center of the island had recovered and was as good as new. Fire could not deal any permanent damage to it at all.

When Sky Island was set ablaze, at least half of all the Winged Ones died in the fire. This also gave Brother Windcloud and Chen Yang the best opportunity to attack while they were weak.

This was the first time players went head to head with the Winged Ones. More than ten million players were involved in the fight, and they battled from night to day and back to night again…

Countless Winged Ones died, and the players suffered heavy losses as well. However, the results of the battle were glorious. Of the three Winged One leaders, aside from the Winged Ruler who had gone missing, the other two died by the players' hands, and they even dropped a wonderful piece of god-tiered equipment.

The Divine Equipment was a pair of Soul Bracers with the highest DEF scores for both P-DEF and M-DEF. Their special effect forced players to resurrect with full health as soon as they died and doubled their attributes as well. This could be used once every two hours.

Chen Yang had been lucky enough to obtain this piece of Divine Equipment. At first, Brother Windcloud Nine had decided to buy them at a high price, but unfortunately, when he tried them on, he realized that he could not equip these god-tiered bracers at all.

He was a God-chastised Paladin, which meant that he could only use the equipment allowed by his class.

At noon, the Savage Tribe and Ninth Continent Armies gathered at the Winged Ones' Mother Tree. Every Winged One in sight had been killed, and Sky Island had fallen into the players' hands.

Just like other maps, players could choose to conquer or abandon Sky Island.

Since it was a coalition army made of two countries, they could not be too careless with the assignment of Sky Island. Fatty did not hesitate, however, refusing the right to rule the land and handing Sky Island over to Brother Nine in its entirety.

Brother Windcloud Nine had contributed much to this raid on Sky Island, using three God Summoning Scrolls in a row and turning the tables in an instant.

On the other hand, Chen Yang did not contribute much, and he even earned a Divine Equipment for free. Was there any need for him to fight Brother Nine for Sky Island?

Sky Island fell under Brother Windcloud Nine's rule, and he immediately appointed Flower Underpants as Island Master, while Confused Fox was Vice Island Master.

The position of Sky Island Master was more than just an honorary title. It came with monetary perks too.

For every day a player had control of Sky Island, they would earn a maintenance fee of ten thousand Gold Coins. Every day they maintained control of Sky Island brought in more funds.

However, no one knew how long they could continue to occupy Sky Island. The Winged Ruler, the so-called ultimate boss, was still nowhere to be seen, and this frustrated Brother Windcloud Nine and Chen Yang to no end.

No one knew when the Boss Bird would return, and it was impossible to predict what would happen when she did.

Bai Xiaoya's group logged off after they were killed just once, and none of them logged back on for a whole day and a night.

This battle spread Brother Windcloud Nine's and Chen Yang's names far and wide, while Li Yi… stayed missing in action.

He was still unconscious in that Void Dimension.

Li Yi's body floated in the void. Right now, he was in deep sleep.

The Death God did not do anything to him. She just taught him how to absorb the Thunder God's Heart, and that was what he did. As a result, he heard what sounded like a lullaby, and it put him right to sleep…

One day passed… Then two days, three…

It was only on the third day that Li Yi woke up.

When he opened his hands, Li Yi was pleasantly surprised to see that the Thunder God's Heart he was holding in his hands was gone.

"Congratulations, you have succeeded, human. No, I should call you demigod now."

The Death God Diablo appeared out of nowhere and congratulated Li Yi.

"Demigod?"

"You absorbed the Thunder God's Heart, so now you may use Divine Power and some thunder-type Divine Spells."

Li Yi gave it a try before he had to ask, "How do I use them?"

There was no indication on the Attribute Panel, and there was no reaction when he wished for it mentally either. Li Yi was feeling slightly lost now.

"One who was chosen by the Evil God, if you cannot summon the power of the Thunder God within you, that means you do not deserve to be a demigod. I have already used too much energy to make you a god, so this is the extent of my assistance. From now on, your Ascension depends wholly on you."

"Whoosh—"

A gust of black air enveloped Li Yi, roiling up and down. By the time the black air dissipated, Li Yi's body had vanished from the Void Dimension.

The Death God had forcefully sent Li Yi away, and he randomly appeared on a mountain peak in the Western Continent.

"Summoning the Thunder God!"

Li Yi yelled out as an experiment, but nothing happened…

"You're kidding me, right?

"Thunder God Possession!

"Thunder God Merge!"

Li Yi tried all sorts of commands, but he could not feel even a hint of Divine Energy…

In just an instant, he received several tens of thousands of messages in his inbox. They were all messages from his friends over the past three days.

Li Yi randomly opened one mail and was instantly stunned. "Three days have passed?" 

Three days had gone by without him even knowing it. This had never happened in Li Yi's entire gaming life, be it in this life or the past.

This was crazy!

"No way, I was out for three days?"

Li Yi checked his body in disbelief, but he found that everything was normal. He did not even feel sleepy or hungry, and he was in good spirits too.

"What's happening here? The Death God said I'm a demigod now, so why can't I feel any Divine Power at all?"

Li Yi wracked his brain for a good long while but could not come up with any answers.

"Log off!"

Three days passing by mysteriously was beyond Li Yi's expectations. Now, he desperately wanted to know if he really had stayed unconscious in the game for three days. 

He had to ask Jiaojiao and the others.

Li Yi took off his headset and opened his eyes. When he saw everyone in the room, he was taken aback once more.

Jiaojiao, Fire Ice, Little Elf from the Magical Realm, Qian'er, and the Xu sisters were all by his side, either sitting or lying down in various positions. The deep dark circles under their eyes told him that they were severely lacking sleep lately…
