MMO: Pierce Heaven Til' It Breaks 832 Demonic Deathray

Unfortunately, there was only one Tuhr Sacred Sword and only one Sister Nine. Even with 5 minutes of Invincibility, what could they even hope to achieve when faced with a Demon God Series boss with an insanely high HP pool?

When Demonic Deathray was activated, every guild member present was immediately taken down. Furthermore, the Tuhr Sacred Sword's attacks were like flea bites against the Third Demon God. It did not even pose a threat to the demon god.

5 minutes later, Sister Windcloud Nine's body warped into white light. Right before the Third Demon God was about to strike her down with its rolling attack, her body vanished.

It was an exclusive skill that belonged only to Kings, and when used, it enabled them to Teleport to anywhere in their nation.

'Hmm, it looks like the dim-witted Sister Nine has improved somewhat. Had this been in the past, would she have done the same?'

Later on, a few more parties had taken a swing at the Third Demon God. However, all of them met the same fate. The moment the Third Demon God unleashed its Demonic Deathray, they were immediately sent back to their capitals.

"Motherf*cker. I knew I hated you guys from the minute I saw you. Brothers, take them out!"

"You *sshole! Are you really that desperate for a fight!?"

The moment the remaining players realized that they stood no chance against the Third Demon God, they immediately directed their aggression at the opposing players. They launched attacks out of nowhere, and before long, a messy conflict ensued among the players.

Half an hour later, the area nearby the Demon God Castle was littered with corpses. There were no longer any players to be seen.

After killing countless players in PKs, the victors did not linger around any longer and had left the area.

With that, the surroundings of the Demon God Castle descended into silence once more. The only presence left in the area was the Third Demon God dozing off in front of the castle gates with its giant mace in hand.

Another half an hour later, Li Yi lazily stretched his body, and after observing his surroundings, he slowly trudged towards the Third Demon God.

Li Yi did not want to fail the challenge due to interruption from other players. After all, had Li Yi chosen to challenge the Third Demon God in the presence of many, he would undoubtedly be interrupted. 

Li Yi activated God Mode and extended his Chrono Territory to its full range. It was only then, however, that Li Yi realized the presence of a dozen or so players in the Blackwood Forest on his left.

Li Yi's attack range was extremely huge, and after clearly identifying that none of the players belonged to the Invincible Continent, Li Yi immediately fired at them. Using only a single arrow for each kill, he quickly disposed of them.

"I'm going to spam the World Channel the moment I return to the capital. I don't believe that I can't tarnish his name!"

"The Number One Archer God stole our kill, let's cuss him in the World Channel!"

After cursing and cussing Li Yi for a couple of minutes, the dozen or so players who were lying on the floor finally left.

Li Yi used Sensory on his surroundings, and after making sure that there were no other players, Li Yi summoned Dolly and ordered her to attack.

"Squeak! Squeak!'"

Dolly extended its tiny wings and flew towards the Third Demon God.

Dolly's attack range was inferior to Li Yi's. As such, she could only attack after getting closer to the Third Demon God.

While Dolly was charging ahead, Li Yi brought out his new Wind Sword and placed it on his back. Wind Sword's most important use was its ability to reduce cooldowns, and this cooldown reduction could help Dolly's Metamorphosis as well!

"Thud! Thud!"

Before the Third Demon God had even gotten a chance to retaliate, Dolly fired her third arrow.

A brilliant red damage counter popped out of the Third Demon God's head.

"Who dares interrupt my rest!? Idiots!"

The Third Demon God woke up with a thunderous bellow, and it smashed its mace down on Dolly.

"Boom!"

Dolly was crushed, and with an agonizing cry, her body made contact with the ground. Following this, she turned into a white egg and entered Metamorphosis. 

The Third Demon God's attacks were extremely brutal, and with the paper-thin DEF and the low HP of Dolly, how could she withstand the demon god's attack?

"Pamela, out you go!"

Li Yi waved his hand, summoning the Dwarven Wizard, Pamela equipped with an Orange Quality Staff in front of him.

"Arcane Missile!"

"Woosh-woosh-woosh…"

The moment Pamela appeared on the field, she immediately let loose a string of Arcane Missiles, dealing over a million damage to the Third Demon God.

The Third Demon God tossed his mace onto the ground, and with a powerful suck of the air, it turned into a giant boulder that rushed towards Pamela.

"Rumble-rumble… Rumble-rumble…"

"I'm going to Flash away, take care!"

As the Third Demon God barreled towards Pamela, the Dwarven Wizard yelled out her intentions. She then morphed into a white light and appeared 30 yards away.

Li Yi activated his Rocket Propellant and headed in the opposite direction from Pamela.

The Third Demon God's rolling attack did not meet its mark.

"Rumble-rumble… Rumble-rumble…"

The Third Demon God rotated around and barreled towards Pamela.

"Tch—"

Pamela used Flash again, easily avoiding the attack.

The Dwarven Wizard, Pamela possessed a unique ability, which was having no cooldowns for her Flash. As such, she could use it as much as she wanted.

It was an extremely useful trait!

Before we proceed, one must first know that Flashes are instant-cast skills. Upon activation, the user is allowed to instantly move away. If one were to discuss its mobility, it was a hundred times greater than the Thieves' Cyclone Steps. The only downside to Flash was its long cooldown, which prevented it from being used continuously.

Pamela was able to use Flash limitlessly, and the only price she had to pay for it was a massive mana cost. The mana consumed during her first usage was normal; the second time would cost twice the mana; the third one would cost four times the mana, and so on and so forth. However, with her massive mana reserves, she could use Flash ten times in succession and still have mana to spare.

After chasing Pamela and missing five times, Dolly's Metamorphosis had ended. With a blinding light, the egg exploded, and she emerged unscathed from it.

"Thud! Thud!"

Dolly fired again at the Third Demon God. Compared to her damage prior to her Metamorphosis, it had increased exponentially.

On the other end, Li Yi had begun to attack as well.

"Stinger Arrow!"

"Meteor Arrow!"

"Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud…"

One player and two of his pets had formed a triangle, with each unit standing at each of the vertices.

After missing its mark five times, once the Third Demon God stopped rolling, a circle of stars appeared on top of the demon god's head. It meant that the demon god was Disoriented.

That was the Third Demon God's weakness. Whenever its meatball missed, it would enter be Disoriented.

Seizing the Third Demon God's downtime, the player and his pets unleashed everything they had, taking out 50 million of the Third Demon God's HP.

"I'll crush all of you!"

The Third Demon God wobbly stood up and raced towards its mace.

Li Yi swiftly moved towards the mace. After activating his Water Clone, he fired Shooting Star Arrow Hail twice at the Third Demon God.

A cluster of little arrows struck the Third Demon God's plump figure, bringing down 300 million of its HP in a mere instant.

"Wah?" The moment Dolly saw the scene, she stopped firing. After tilting her head slightly and pondering on the event, she finally made a sour face and pouted her cheeks.

After the double Shooting Star Arrow Hails, the Third Demon God's HP shrunk to zero. It hugged its stomach and fired Demonic Deathray at its surroundings. It had entered its second state.

After being struck by the Demonic Deathray, Dolly immediately reverted into an egg. On the other hand, Li Yi and Pamela were unfazed, and their HP remained untouched.

Li Yi was at Level 191, and Pamela was even higher. When Li Yi had hired her, she was already at Level 195.

"I am the demonic realm's strongest demon god! Do you think that you can kill me with that insignificant strength of yours?! Come, I'll show you my true power!"

A black vapor engulfed the Third Demon God, and when the vapor disappeared, a jet-black bull-like monster came charging towards Li Yi and Pamela.

It was the Third Demon God's second state, the Demon Bull Form!

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The Demon Bull stomped repeatedly on the ground. Suddenly, it let loose a loud cry which rapidly enlarged its body and bloated it. Then, like Li Yi's True Overlord Arrow, it made a beeline forward.

Its target was everything in front of it!

Pamela did not manage to cast Flash in time and died on-the-spot. Dolly, who was in egg form, was hurled to who knows where. Only Li Yi had made the necessary precautions beforehand, and when the Demon Bull came hurtling towards him, he used Pseudocide.

Demon Bull Rush had a flaw, and that was when it charged over, its boy would slightly leap upwards. As powerful as it appeared to be, it had a flaw to be exploited, and as such, players who were able to dive down at the right time were able to evade it.

"Thud! Thud!"

"Stinger Arrow!"

After avoiding the attack, Li Yi immediately stood back up. Before the Demon Bull had landed, Li Yi seized the initiative to attack.

Since Pamela had died, Li Yi's initial battleplan had to be slightly revised. However, this did not affect the battle much, as the ability to adapt to various situations was the main trait that distinguished pros from noobs.

Li Yi returned to the spot Pamela was in earlier, took out the scroll that had the Fire Dragon Sword sealed within it, and tore it open.

A red-haired Caitley wielding the Fire Dragon Sword had appeared.

During Li Yi's attempt to seal the Fire Dragon Sword, something unexpected had occurred. He had accidentally sealed in Flaming Skeleton, Caitley along with the Fire Dragon Sword. Later on, he noticed that the image of the flaming skeleton in the scroll had changed as well, into the current look.

"What malicious aura. I-Is this… Foreignland?" Caitley stared in confusion at her surroundings.

"Moo~"

The Demon Bull turned its head around, raised its four hooves and rushed towards Caitley.

Li Yi pulled back, returning to his original position. The party's positioning played an important role in defeating the Third Demon God.

Caitley responded to the Demon God's charge by swiping her sword.

Caitley was unfazed by the Demon Bull's charge. She did not budge, and there was not a single scratch on the Fire Dragon Sword. However, a massive crack formed under her feet, and the crack spanned over a dozen meters.

A damage counter popped out of Caitley's head, but at the same time, the Demon Bull's horn had caught flames.

The Fire Dragon Sword was a Divine Weapon that burned almost anything it touched. As such, those who wished to face it should prepare fire-resistant equipment.

The wicked flames continued to burn the Demon Bull, causing it to hop up and down. It constantly slammed its horn into the ground in an attempt to extinguish the flames.

However, when the wicked flames made contact with the ground, the ground quickly caught flames too.

In a blink of an eye, the Demon Bull was surrounded in a sea of flames…
