Limits 462 This War Ends Here Part 1

When I finally arrived, one of the worst case scenarios, was currently playing itself out in front of me. 'Damn, I'm too late', I thought at the sight. The Eterians and Furians already attacked Obsidian Mountains. From the looks of it, the battle didn't last that long yet. The good news was that Humans, Lizard and other races were all there. The Destroyers were abandoned, while both armies attacked in hand to hand combat. "I need to stop this", I said to myself, trying to think of something.

'Attention', I thought and took out my mask as well as the Bastard Sword. With my mask on, I took a step forward, accelerating towards the battlefield. Just as my speed reached the pinnacle, I slammed my leg into the ground, launching myself upwards. Using my Aura as stepping platforms, I rushed forwards and upwards at the same time.

Higher and higher, until I had a view of the whole battlefield. I scanned the battlefield and made some quick calculations, before activating the Formation inside the Bastard Sword and throwing it. "RHAH!", I used everything I had for that throw. The heavy sword descended quickly, gaining speed with each passing second. Its target, the middle of the battlefield. Before I landed, the sword began screeching, blasting through the air towards its destination.

"BOOOM!".

The sword smashed into the ground, creating crater like caving and releasing a shockwave strong enough for others to be blown away. I landed shortly after, walking slowly towards the battlefield full of disoriented people.

"What happened!?", "Someone else attacked us!", "Have you seen what happened?!". "Look! It's a sword!". "Whe… Where the hell did that sword come from?". "Hey! Someone is there!". The fighting stopped, and all those gathered looked towards me. "He is… He disappeared...", "Crack… Cling!", I retrieved my sword before saying, "This war… It ends here".

"Fall back! Regroup!", one of the Eterians shouted. Both armies moved backwards, creating space in between. A space where I stood. "We don't have time for wars. There is much more at stake, than some resources and power", I said. A few Eterians stepped out of the ranks. "So we finally meet. The elusive Dark Traveller, as they call you", one of the Eterians said.

"You know about Bramans, but do you know what they intend to do?". He snorted, "You mean Hydra? We know". I nodded, "In that case, you should know what can happen, when they release it". He laughed, "Total destruction of your Empire, that's what will happen!". I shook my head, "Is that what Bramans promised you? What if I promise you freedom?".

A few Humans also stepped out of the ranks, but not to talk, they actually attacked. They tried to take that opportunity, and kill some highly positioned Eterians, but that was not my plan. "Swoosh!", I swiped my hand, and all their attacks became neutralised. I used my Bloodlust Aura on purpose, there was no need to hide who I was. "I didn't ask you to interfere, Royals". "You! That Aura... You know the Forbidden Arts! We should destroy you, together with those bastards!", one of them said with shock plastered on his face.

The Eterian laughed, "Even your own race is against you, yet you want to promise us freedom? We are free already, and we will get rid of those who stand in our way!". "You are slaves. Bramans will use you, not work with you. The Hydra is not something that should roam this place. What any race thinks of me, is irrelevant. Right now, I'm here to stop this pointless war", I replied.

The Humans attacked again, but this time, I was included as the target. "This is not your Endrosian Empire", I said, as all the attacks flying at me got destroyed. Lizards, Shades and Atols stood all around me, protecting me. "Betrayers! You stand with the one who practices disgusting Arts! Didn't you hear him? He is trying to make a deal with Eterians!", one of the Humans exclaimed.

"I'd suggest you speak less, if you don't want your tongue cut. Knowing his short temper, I can totally see that happening", Crow and Lira appeared next to the Humans, and slowly walked towards me. "It's been a while. Seems you got a lot stronger too", he said while other Shades followed. Even Voltars began moving, I wasn't even surprised who was leading them. "I heard what happened in Boltier. You should've visited me instead. We Voltars are not cowards, we will help you face Bramans. It's the least we can do for you", said Shak.

A few Royal Lizards voiced their objections, but were stopped by someone else. "You think we can stop Hydra? He is trying to fight a common enemy, an enemy trying to destroy everything. Stop being so blind already", said Harlin as he walked out of the crowd, his soldiers following him.

"You are the general of Royal Army! You want to side with him!?", a few Royal Lizards protested. That wasn't all, Jora stepped out as well. "The Eterian already confirmed it. That Hydra, if it's as dangerous as they say, this war is pointless indeed". He grabbed his people and walked towards me as well. The Royal Lizards became speechless, but Humans on the other hand more furious. "Betrayers… Bunch of fucking betrayers…".

"You might hate who I am, you might hate Eterians or Furians. But even you must've noticed the seriousness of this situation. Do you think your Emperor can stop Hydra? Wouldn't Hatmandor already appear? It was them who sealed Hydra, but where are they now? The choice is simple, you can suck it up, and help me destroy Bramans. Or you can sit here complaining", I said.

They gritted their teeth, but one of them finally stepped up. "Fine. We will help you deal with Bramans, but don't expect anything else". I nodded, and turned towards Eterians. "Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap", the leader of Eterians clapped a few times. "Great show, but you forgot about something. It's not like we agreed to help you. If you want to stop Bramans, you'd have to get through us!". He grabbed his weapon, while a few other Furians joined his side.

Others on my side readied their weapons too, but I stopped them. "You are as much victims as perpetrators in all this. Furians don't belong to you, and you are not slaves of Bramans. I don't know what they did for you to listen in the past, but we can stop them, together. End this hatred once and for all". Instead of an answer, I got a few attacks flying my way. I walked forwards, releasing my Aura domain. "Crack, Pak, Bam, Pak", the attacks couldn't go through and broke apart. "We don't need advice from a monster like you", he replied while charging at me with his sword.
