The stone walls of the dungeon were engulfed in darkness.

Tristan sat on the floor and squealed as if the morning chill coming from the stone floor made him uncomfortable. The chains creaked.

Chains were attached to cuffs around his neck, wrists and ankles.

When he stretched out his numb leg, his other bindings were pulled down at the same time.

Lily could not abandon her own family.

Nothing made sense.

Soon he stopped tall between the two men crumpled against the wall.

Under the thick, straight eyebrows, eyes as sharp as a forged sword fell on Tristan.

“Take him out.”
