When Phillip eventually stepped out of Anna's cabin the storm had died down. He walked up to Benson's cabin and entered. The two were talking happily but turned to him.

"So, i take it she talked?" Benson asked.

Phillip nodded and looked at Suzette "She asked me a question, but you need to understand its for the sake of my father"

"She asked you to fuck her!?"

"What!? No! She asked ne to accompany her tonight"

"Oh, that all? Then thats ok" She yawned "I need some rest anyway. He smiled and gave her a kiss.

"For now, lets go look at that campsite Benson" He said and stood up.

"Excellent, ill get the needed guys together" Benson said taking his phone out.

After a few minuites about six sheriff's stood outside with their vehicles, the head detective came up to Phillip and shook his hand.

"Its nice to know someone who knows the business is helping us, ill jump in your vehicle and show you the way" he said.

They drove into the forest for about half an hour then drove off on another gravel and snow path. They eventually stopped, keeping the Jeep lights on the campsite ahead. Phillip climbed out and immediately saw the red on the ground.

"Here?" He asked nad Rhodes nodded.

He decided to start at the campfire, it was the obvious place of gathering, but he got angry when he saw all the human footprints.

"Rhodes! Doesn't anyone know about scene preservation!?"

"My point exactly Phillip!" He called from the Jeeps.

Phillip shook his head and took a closer look, he saw the human tracks that indicated running, no, sprinting, only the toe and ball of the front foot in the ground, these kids ran like hell. He backtracked the runners to the fireplace, then headed slowly in the opposite direction they fled from, searching for any wolf tracks, but found none. Behind a far tent he saw another blood patch, the tracks slowly led to here, but no tracks indicated he fled, so, this guy died here, and probably first. Phillip knelt down and searched round the blood, nothing, no sign of a struggle, no sign of a vicious attack... Phillip was baffled, they got killed by, nothing? But then his torch revealed something stange, a triangular print about a meter away from the blood, left and right of it another, it looked like somone made them with s sharp pike. Phillip rose slowly, and as his perspective widened the truth got revealed, he gasped, it was a paw print, but huge, bigger than a dinner plate, subtly hidden in the loose foliage. This cant be a wolf, nor can it be a mountain lion, but it had the wolf shape and the nails of a cat. Then it couldn't be a grizzly, it wasnt a grizzlies pawprint!

"Found something?" Suzette said suddenly behind him and he hopped.

"Whats wrong?"

"Look at this Suzi" he shone the light on the paw, but didn't say anything, she aswell couldn't comprehend it untill he pointed out its outlines.

"Wh, what the fuck!?"

"Ive never seen a paw print this big, but if it was this big of an animal, why did this boy not see it?" He said shining his torch on the blood. Phillip turned back to the camp, the Jeeps had their lights on the scene, lighting up the area

"Rhodes! Come here!" He called.

Phillip showed him the pawprint then walked to the firepalce.

"This is madness! This can't be a wolf!?" Rhodes stuttered.

Phillip looked at where the wolf stood from the fire place "Douse the lights of those Jeeps quick!"

The men did so and darkness surrounded them. Phillip saw there where the wolf was, was a very dark patch of shadow, the trees and bush causing it to be black, even with a fire going it would still have that dark area.

"A, thinking predator?" He mumbled.

"What?" Suzette asked.

"What ever that was, knew the shadows will hide it, i bet you a hundred bucks it has dark fur, either black, dark grey or even dark brown, because itused stealth, it came right up to these kids, and they never even saw or heard it" Phillip suddenly felt naked without that rifle.

"How" he swallowed "How many shots from am AK47 do you think it will take to kill a thing that big?"

Rhodes got a worrying face as he said the words, everyone who heard him averted their eyes to the dark forest surrounding them, Suzette even came to stand agains his back, looking past him.

"Lets go, i dont feel so good about this" Rhodes said and they all turned simultaneously asif waiting for him to say it. Back in Phillips Jeep Rhodes shook his head.

"Supernatural, its the only explanation, i know a few guys who can help with that"

"Who?" Phillip asked.

"They are supernatural anomaly researchers" Rhodes said having his phone to his ear.

"Yes, its Rhodes, i have some suspicions about a campsite in the St. Elias nature reserve, are you able to come...? Tomorrow morning? Good, ill see you then"

"Rhodes, it's a giant wolf, not some ghost" Phillip said.

"I'll get some rangers to guard them, maybe they can explain the voice aswell" Rhodes looked at him with ernst.

"Ok then" Phillip nodded.

Back at the cabin Benson showed Phillip and Suzette to their room. Phillip started a fire then sat next to Suzette

"This turned from suspicious to down right wrong" She said and leaned against him.

"Im sorry, if i knew it was going to be this bad, i would have really strapped you to your bed"

She smiled and kissed him "You want to...? You know?" She winked at him smiling. He kissed her again then slowly pushed her against the bed. As the clothes came off they realised it was still cold so they got in under the thick blankets. It helped, they could only think of each other, nothing else mattered.

"CRNW" Suzette whispered in his ear as they made love, he payed no attention, still focusing on her warmth and passion.

"Come now, Run to me, No! Why?" She whispered again, Phillip brought his head out of her neck, her eyes was closed, mouth slightly open, breathing softly seeping in his movement.

"Never" She said "Will"

"Suzette?" He asked softly and she opened her eyes, the bottle blue colour was now a violet purple and he blinked stopping the intercourse.

"Move with me" she whispered pushing her pelvis up "Make love to me soldier"

"Suzette!?" He aksed louder seeing she's not with him really. She blinked and the violet was gone.

"Yes?" She asked confused, asif nothing happened.

"Are you ok?"

Her face worried up "Why? What's wrong? Am i not doing it right?"

"No, you spoke wierd things just now"

She looked away, searching her mind for things she might have said, but then looked up at him again shaking her head.

"Im not sure, but, lets not stop now, i need this to calm my nerves" She said moving her hips again. He falled in with her motion and the pleasure returned. Phillip ignored what he saw, not wanting her worried. But later when hes with Anna, hes going to ask her what this witch was all about, even if she said she didn't want to talk about it.
