Sandy and Breezy were kneeling nearby, as was Wang momo. He asked, “Did Zhen just hear that? Gu Xinglang was yelling at the princess to change her clothes?”

Wang momo wanted to play dead, but she couldn’t do that in front of the emperor unless she really wanted to die. Like a mosquito, she squeaked, “Yes.”

“What are they doing in there?” Xianzong asked her.

Let me tell you, Little Gu, that Wen Fenglin is nothing but a villain with bad designs. We can’t be pals with him. I almost killed him last night, but the State Preceptor kept holding me back.
