Earth's Alpha Prime Chapter 68

[Specific Spirit Items that are needed to upgrade the Growth Type Spirit item [Centauri Kavach] are available. Do you wish to start the absorption process?]

Once I accepted the notification, the set of the 6 Common Grade Armour-type Spirit Items floated in front of me.

Then, the [Centauri Kavach] which was in the form of a Sun shaped tattoo on my chest turned lively as it began to spin while emitting Blazing golden flames, looking almost like a miniaturised live star.

From that, a pitch-black material began to spread across my upper body, latching onto my skin before turning into a chest armour.

The Sun shaped golden imprint at the chest area of the [Centauri Kavach] didn't calm down and started to spin at high speeds, as it began to radiate heat.

From such heat, my clothes couldn't escape the tragedy of being burnt off.

Maybe because of the bond I formed with the [Centauri Kavach], but I wasn't damaged by the heat it emitted.

The set of Common Grade Spirit Items flew into the spinning golden Sun imprint and vanished. The same happened with the other set that has Uncommon Grade Armour-type Spirit Items.

In the next second, the half an inch thick pitch-black armour that only covered my chest and stomach area began to spread until it enveloped every inch of my body except the head

Instead of some kind of helmet, my head was wrapped in a transparent protective layer, that didn't hinder any of my senses.

Simultaneously, a few golden lines originated from the golden Sun imprint, and spread around on the surface of the pitch-black part of the armour and formed intrinsic ancient symbols.

Even though the [Centauri Kavach] covered my fingers, neck, elbow and knee joints, that didn't restrict their range of motion nor my sense of touch.

One of the aspects I liked the most about [Centauri Kavach], was that I never felt uncomfortable wearing it.

Because of that, it didn't take more than three seconds for me to get accustomed to the full body armour.

After that, MJ opened the [Centauri Kavach] description for me to look at its changes.

A Bio integrable body armour that was created by a High-Phase Tier-9 Blacksmith using the essence of a Live Centauri Star.

Growth type Spirit Items are unrivalled among the Spirit Items of the same grade.

Growth Type Effect: Able to obtain a single ability from every Armour-type Spirit Item that it absorbs.

Requirements: 50 Vitality, 50 Endurance

1st Armour Form: [Full Body Armour] (Unsealed)

Full Body Armour's Perk: [Frame Morph]

[Frame Morph]: Able to alter the shape and structure of the [Centauri Kavach] within the Full Body Armour's size.

2nd Armour Form: Sealed

3rd Armour Form: Sealed

Inherent Skills (Rare Grade): [Instant Regen], [Auto Aqua Defense], [Isolated Suction], [Spirit Energy Recharge].

The first thing I did was to activate the System's Safety Mode, so that the additional Stats from [Centauri Kavach] would be added at a slow pace, without any pain from the sudden increase in Vitality and Endurance Attributes.

The 1st Armour Form, [Full Body Armour], was unsealed. When I tried to activate its perk, information on using Frame Morph was transmitted into my mind.

Then I willed my body armour, to turn into the clothing that was just burnt off, and the structure of the Full Body Armour's material altered.

Following that, Instead of the Full Body Armour, I had a pitch-black suit with golden patterns.

Even though [Centauri Kavach]'s toughness reduced upon turning into a suit, it still has 25% of the Full Body Armour's defense.

Still, the defense of [Centauri kavach] that was morphed into a suit couldn't be underestimated, since I wasn't even able to make a small tear on it even when I used my full physical strength.

One has to keep in mind that I was as strong as a Low-Phase Tier-3 Life Form, without even entering [INVERSE] mode.

Only when I used the [Stream Wind Sword], was I barely able to slash open an inch wide tear, which repaired itself almost instantly.

As for the [Centauri Kavach] in Full body Armour form, I wasn't able to break its defence even when I used the 2nd strongest attack in my arsenal, which was a full-on attack of [Stream Wind Sword] that was enveloped with Stage-3 [Sword Aura], [Sword Aura Extension] & [Stream Wind Edge].

Still, I believe that if I were to use the Prehistoric Skill, [Heaven breaker], it would be a piece of cake to break past the defence of [Centauri Kavach].

But the prerequisites were that I had to be in the [INVERSE] mode, and on top of that, I need a Glaive-type Spirit Weapon to activate it.

The first one wasn't a problem, but the second condition was a significant issue. That requires me to coat any 'Glaive-type Spirit Weapon' with Origin Energy for me to use the Prehistoric Skill.

That was a significant issue, because once I coat any Spirit Weapon with Origin Energy, their durability would plummet rapidly before turning into scraps.

So, the only way to use [Heaven Breaker] was through the 'Silver Glaive' of my Innate Talent's previous host.

Putting those thoughts aside, I let the [Centauri Kavach] stay as clothing for my convenience. With its property to adjust to my size, I wouldn't have to deal with having my clothes shred apart every time I enter [INVERSE] mode.

Next, I went through the 3 new Skills, that [Centauri Kavach] absorbed from the set of 6 Common Grade Spirit Items and the set of 6 Uncommon Grade ones.

At first, I assumed that I would gain a skill each from the 12 Spirit Items (6 Common Grade + 6 Uncommon Grade) that the [Centauri Kavach] absorbed, but apparently, during the upgrading process, the Skills that had similarities with each other merged among themselves into those 3 Skills.

I just went through the details of those skills, but I left testing them out for another time since I didn't have much time left before the 18-hour rest period ended.

Using the Elevator that connects the Deep underground Secret base to the ground level, I reached back to the surface; from there, it was just a few minutes ride to my house.

My sister was in the courtyard of my house, learning to run around, as her personal bodyguard Esha assisted Qew, whenever she was about to stumble.

If not for the Wrist band Prototype that MJ created for Qew, to transmit my experience of the essential leg coordination for walking and running, she would have still been at the stage where she had to learn how to walk properly.

Other than our Family, Esha was the one that Qew trusted the most and even treated her as an elder sister.

6 hours back, when Qew asked me if she could reveal to Esha that her Paraplegia was cured, without mentioning anything about the System or the Trial Program, I agreed to her right away.

If Qew were to ask me about divulging Esha in matters regarding the System and the Trial Program, I would even have agreed to her request.

It wasn't because I trust Esha or any ulterior motives in my mind for agreeing to Qew's request. I did it simply because that would make my sister happy.

Plus, with the diverse abilities of [SOUL EYES], I had the power to disregard the consequences of Qew's actions.

When Qew revealed to Esha that her 'Paraplegia' was cured, I went through Esha's thoughts and emotions.

She was genuinely happy for Qew, and from her memories, I learned that she suspected me of having something to do with the overnight changes in Qew and Kay. But Esha didn't pry on that issue.

I even went through Esha's memories to check if she was trustworthy and loyal.

With more than 100 Stats in my Spirit Attribute, my thought processing speed exceeded way past human capabilities, and it took just a few minutes for me to go through Esha's important memories.

Turns out that my Grandfather bore the medical expenses for Esha's ill father when they were in dire financial crisis.

Even though that wasn't able to save Esha's father, the financial help that my Grandfather gave, prolonged the time her father was able to live before his untimely demise.

Due to that, her loyalty to our family was a form of gratitude to my Grandfather.

I know, I know...this chapter feels short but in actuality, it was meant to be read together with Ch.69 and that way, it would go in a smooth flow. Anyway, I guess you have to wait a few more days for the and trust me, the is gonna surprise you.
