Earth's Alpha Prime Chapter 35

11:50 am (UTC-5).

Washington, DC.

Within the Oval office of the Whitehouse, the President was in a meeting, and a bodyguard approached and whispered that the CIA director requested an urgent meeting saying that it was a matter regarding 'Code-5 Event.'

Then the President bolted from his seat. His face turned serious as he cancelled the ongoing meeting and other scheduled appointments.

The Code-5 Event is only used when something catastrophic was about to happen like a meteor heading towards earth or an extreme natural calamity that could cause massive life loss.

He took a deep breath and pressed a button on his desk. Then the CIA Director, who was in his fifties, entered the office.

After a short exchange of greetings, the CIA Director proceeded, "Mr President, the matter I am about to discuss is unbelievable to put in words. So, before explaining in detail, I would like to show you something first."

Then he took out a Laptop. While opening it, the CIA Director asked, "Mr President, do you remember the CIA's Secret Agent Blue?"

At the mention of that, the President's mood brightened, "You mean Brandon? Of course, why would I forget the man who saved me in the assassination that took place 5 months ago? After that, I read his file and was tempted to snatch him from the CIA to be my personal security head, but our country needs such a highly talented young agent more than me."

"But why are you mentioning Brandon? Is he involved in this Code-5 Event?"

The CIA Director nodded and started a video on the laptop, "Mr President, Take a look at this and let me remind you, everything in the video is as real as you and me."

Within the video, there was a blond-haired young CIA agent in a black suit. He took strength, speed and endurance tests and his performance exceeded the human limits.

At the end of the video, he aimed his palm at dummy targets and blue-coloured sparkling lightning formed in front of him.

Then it turned into the shape of an arrow, and it was shot towards a dummy target. Upon contact, a hole of 3 inches wide diameter was punched through.

After that, the blonde-haired man proceeded to shoot projectiles while altering the shapes to sword, dagger, spear. In a few seconds, all the 5 dummy targets were blasted apart.

Then the video ended and the President stared at the laptop with a dumbfounded look and asked the CIA Director, "What kind of ability is that?! How..how did he do that? "

"Mr President, I know you have a lot of doubts, but it would be better to listen to it from Brandon himself. He is waiting outside the White House and before inviting him in, inform the White Hall security about his arrival, or they would mistake him for an attacker."

President collected his composure and informed the security. Then the CIA Director queried, "Mr President if you don't mind me asking, do you have any breathing difficulty?"

"Uh, Yes, I do have asthma problems, but could I know the relevance?"

The CIA Director replied with an awkward expression, "This is rather hard to explain without personally experiencing it, but I highly recommend you to be ready with your asthma breather by the time Agent Blue arrives."

In a few minutes, the president's office door opened. The security head entered the president's Oval office with a frightened look and asked while stuttering, "Mr President, are you, are you sure about inviting the person, person you just asked for?"

President was a bit sceptical about why the head of security was acting in such a way but just replied, "Yes, Quickly, let him in."

Then a blonde-haired young man walked in, and when he entered the room, the president started to sweat as an oppressive feeling washed over him. When the president looked at the piercing blue eyes of the young man, he suffocated to breathe.

Then the CIA Director helped him to use his Asthma breather and only then did the president recover.

Brandon apologised, "Sorry for that, Mr President, I couldn't yet control this strange suppressive force from Tier difference. Please don't look at my eyes to reduce the suppression effect and bear with it while I clearly explain the details of the Code-5 Event."

After that, Brandon briefed the President about teleporting to a place called Trial World, where there were powerful monsters. He was one of the 11 Alpha Chosen for the System's Alpha Program.

He continued to explain the levels, the usage of Undistributed Stats, and that he obtained a Grade-8 Lightning Innate Talent after the System's assimilation.

Brandon also explained that the scale of the so-called 'Trial Program' was on a Galaxy level. There were 1 million life planets with intelligent species selected for the Trial Program with an overall Alpha Chosen of 11 million.

By the end of Brandon's briefing, the President was dumbstruck. It took him a while to digest all the mind-boggling information he just learned.

President asked Brandon, "Couldn't we use our weapon arsenal to defeat the monsters that spawn once that 'System' assimilates with our Earth?"

Brandon replied, "Mr President, I am afraid that might not be possible. Just before I was first teleported to the Trial World, I was doing a dangerous mission, and I had several guns, grenades and other tactical devices with me when I was abruptly teleported."

"But among them, the devices that were used for communication were not teleported along with me to the Trial World."

"Other than them, the guns and other tactical equipment on me were brought along with me to the Trial World but what's strange was that none of the modern weapons worked."

"In the beginning, I thought there was a malfunction within the gun, but after disassembling it, I found no problem with that. So, I took out a bullet and extracted gunpowder and tried to light it, but it didn't work."

"I even used frag grenades, stun grenades and other tactical equipment but none of them functioned. It's as if the laws of matter were different in the Trial World."

"I think the chances of all the electronic devices and modern weapons stop functioning after the System's assimilation are high."

The President exclaimed in shock, "Good God!! If that happens, the world will fall into chaos."

He then looked towards Brandon and asked tensely, "Within the next 18 months of the Trial Program, Earth's Chosen of Alpha, Beta and Gamma Programs that you mentioned, could, could they become strong enough to defend against the monsters that spawn after the System assimilation with Earth?"

Brandon replied with a faint smile, "Mr President, I don't know about Chosen from Beta and Gamma Programs since they are not even started yet. But among us 11 Alpha Chosen, there is one who is even ranked third within the 11 million Alpha Chosen of the entire Milky Way Trial Program."

"As for me, I am just a level away from satisfying all the three requirements for Tier-2 Evolution. With my Grade-8 Lightning Innate Talent, I should be able to evolve to Tier-2 within Day-2, and that might bring me at least in the top 1000 of the 11 million Alpha Chosen."

"There is another person who is in the same Lv.9 as me, but he is ranked higher than me among the Earth's Alpha Chosen Leaderboard."

"So, Mr President, I think we are doing pretty well among the million life planets that were chosen for the Trial Program."

Only after hearing what Brandon said did the president sigh in relief and happily exclaimed, "Thank God!! Finally, some good news! Use our intelligence networks to find the other Alpha Chosen and offer them the best privileges and attractive money payments or anything they require to pull them to our side before other countries get the wind of it."

The CIA Director interjected, "Through our intelligence network within Russia, we already found someone that matches the superhuman level abilities of Alpha Chosen."

The President's eyes brightened, and in the next half an hour, he made several calls. After that, he said to Brandon with a tone filled with authority, "Within a few days, I will get the permissions and paperwork needed to create a new secret force and Brandon, the famed Agent Blue, you will be the head of this new secret force."

"You will have every resource of our country at your expense. Except for me, You have to follow no one's orders. As for the name of this secret force, I will leave it up to you."

"All the hopes are on you and the other Chosen to become stronger by the time that Trial Program ends. Good luck to you. God bless the United States of America and God bless the World."

Brandon saluted and said with a smile, "It's my honour, Mr President. As for the name, I already have something in mind."
