Every time Wang Hao's mom went grocery shopping, she would greet everybody she met. "Hey, morning, Mr. Wang!" "Oh, Mr. Liu! Not hanging out today?"

"If it isn't Hao's mom." A middle-aged woman spied Wang Hao's mom from afar. "Look at you! Why are you so happy?"

"Hehe, our son finally got a job yesterday. I want to cook something nice for him tonight," Wang Hao's mom said proudly. "It isn't easy at all. There's too much competition in society nowadays."

This middle-aged woman had quarreled with Wang Hao's mom before, so they weren't on very friendly terms with each other. Mom was so excited about Wang Hao finding a job, however, that those things didn't matter anymore.

But the middle-aged woman gave Mom attitude. "Your son can also get a job? That is indeed worth celebrating. What kind of job? Where? Is it temporary?"

"How can you say that?" Wang Hao's mom was annoyed. "What's wrong with a temporary job? He's putting in his own effort to earn a living! You think everyone's like your son, just relying on women all the time?"

"So what? What's wrong with relying on women?" The middle-aged woman said disdainfully, "My son is handsome! He's surrounded by countless women every day. Oh, there's too many women to choose from. All of them are willing to spend money on my boy. What? Are you jealous? I can't help you with that!"

"I'm not jealous! My son's doing just fine." Wang Hao's mom was disgusted. "I'm telling you, when I look for a wife for Hao, I'll find a reliable and decent girl! Not like your son; even after he gets married, you'll still be on edge all day long!"

The middle-aged woman snickered and said, "What's there for me to worry about? My son might bring a few girls home and ask us to pick one for him; we'll then choose the best one for sure! Oh, no one can compare with my son. Whether it's his education background or appearance, he's much better than your son. Don't you agree? Haha!"

"You!" Wang Hao's mom stomped her foot furiously. "I don't want to argue with you today. I'm in a good mood!"

The two had another unpleasant fight. Just as Wang Hao's mom was about to leave, there was the sudden roar of a car engine, and a white Lamborghini appeared in front of their eyes.

"Tut-tut, look at this car. My son will have to buy one in the future, no matter what!" The eyes of the middle-aged woman sparkled when she saw the car. "No, I have to tell him that he has to look for a rich wife!"

"Right, go ask your son to be a kept man forever!" Wang Hao's mom booed. After that, however, she was stunned by what she saw.

The Lamborghini stopped right in front of her place. The door opened, and her dear son Wang Hao got out of the car!

The middle-aged woman froze. "What's going on?!"

The driver's door then opened, and a woman who was gorgeous enough to make the middle-aged woman's eyes pop out got out of the car. This pretty woman didn't notice Wang Hao's mom. She looked at the residential building in front of her and asked Wang Hao, "This is your place?"

"Yeah, right here…" Wang Hao saw his mom and was completely shocked. "Mom, why are you here?"

Hearing what Wang Hao said, the woman turned to Wang Hao's mom and smiled. "Hello, how are you?"

"Good, good!" Wang Hao's mom sized up the woman, and was extremely satisfied. "Aw, such a stunning woman! Great, you young people have fun together, I won't disturb you. Right, lady, are you free today? Do you want to have lunch with us? Should I ask Hao's dad to come back?"

"Mom, you're scaring her." Wang Hao hurriedly pushed his mom away. "She's just going to have a look at our house, and will be leaving soon!"

"Alright, don't mind us! Your dad went to play chess at the cultural hall. There's nobody at home!" Wang Hao's mom said excitedly. She beamed at that middle-aged woman. "Oh, looks like I don't have to choose! One is enough. Better than having a hundred. Hahahahaha! I'm going to the grocery store~ The weather is so beautiful today, and I'm feeling wonderful, hahahaha!"

The middle-aged woman was embarrassed and enraged. She stomped her foot fiercely, then turned around and left.

Today's scene had hit her hard!

Both of them were gone in an instant, leaving Wang Hao alone in the wind. His heart was a mess.

What do you mean "don't mind us"? There's nobody at home!

Where are you going? I'm being kidnapped right now, okay? I did save her and her attitude toward me might be a little better now, but I'm still in danger!

Who knows if the extremely bad luck has ended or not?!

What if the gun goes off? Ah, she seems to be carrying an electric taser — then, what if the taser goes off?

What will happen then? Will there be consequences? Will her family try to murder me? What will happen if they do? Will the world be destroyed because of it?!

The woman clearly didn't think much of it. She looked at Wang Hao. "Alright, let's go upstairs." Her voice was much gentler and she didn't sound so frosty anymore.

"Let's go!" Wang Hao swiped the resident card, then entered the elevator. He prayed nonstop, "God, please don't let the elevator break down!" Someone else might think that the elevator breaking down would be a good thing. After all, it was the dream of countless men to be trapped in an elevator with a pretty girl. Something might happen between them! But since it was Wang Hao in there…

He remembered that the woman was carrying a taser with 600,000 volts! If the elevator did break down, he was certain that she would taser him straight away — even if he had saved her life!
