Chapter 9: "Flowers Crown".

Almost arriving at the tavern, I heard screams and loud noises, even some drunks running out of the tavern. I quickened my feets and quickly entered...
There were Kiara and Krall in a sword duel against Victor Otter and his mercenary companion. Elizabet was behind them, when she saw me she came running towards me and said:
-Jennifer! I could not avoid the fight, the disgusting Victor rushed at me without a word to hit me, but Krall quickly pushed him and they began to fight!.
To which I replied.
-It's my fault! I'm sorry Eliza, I had to come faster and not make them wait so long for me. As we hugged each other.
She told me not to worry about it, that we had to worry about avoiding Kiara and Krall to get hurt and leave quickly to Frailis. The duel continued, Krall and Victor were having an even battle, both were experts in swords, Kiara quickly knocked out Victor's mercenary and tried to join the battle but her brother Krall shouted at her to stay out of it. Little by little Krall was losing his composure, instead Victor Otter seemed happy to fight, he had a huge smile on his face and laughed every time Krall backed up, to the point where he was able to knock him down. I approached from behind and took a vase, when he was about to give him the final blow, with my little strength with my two hands I hit Victor with the vase, it broke on his head, which made him lie on the floor, at that moment Kiara and Elizabet took Krall and we left the tavern in a hurry, while we were leaving Victor shouted.
-You will pay for me Jennifer! I will take revenge!.
We took 3 horses, one for Eliza, one for Kiara and the wounded Krall, and finally a beautiful white horse for me, this last one a servant told me that King Jacob had ordered him to give it to me.
So we traveled almost without stopping at any time, I had many problems riding, as I had very little experience riding horses. Upon arriving at Frailis, we took Krall to the doctor in the city, luckily his wounds did not seem fatal and he would soon be able to recover.
I, along with Eliza, went to the castle and reported everything that had happened in Guafelia to the regent, Master Urodis.
Almost 2 months passed, there was no trace of Victor Otter and his mercenaries, Krall already recovered and together with Kiara accepted an offer from Urodis to become guardians of the county of Frailis, also Elizabet accepted the offer of Urodis and now she was working as an assistant for him, I was still studying and also being a kind of assistant for him, in that time I also learned to ride properly and I also started to practice with a wooden sword, I knew that at some point it could be that no one would rescue me as they did in previous occasions, that's why I wanted to at least learn the basics to defend myself.
Apparently the war was in its final stage, the Westxi army was managing to expel the orcs.
A message from Count Jeor Traynos arrived at the castle...
"My faithful advisor and current regent of my county, the war will be over soon, it is only a matter of days and few weeks, next week is the festival of flowers in Frailis, I want you to prepare everything, I will ask permission to be able to go".
Urodis read that to me, Eliza, Kiara and Krall. Thus began the preparations for the festival, it consisted of an old tradition of the area where at one time it was full of flowers of all kinds, that's how it got its name. Food stalls, group games, and finally the attraction of the festival, which was a duel of knights, which being victorious had the opportunity to place a wreath of flowers to his beloved, honoring her with the spiritual title of "The Princess of Flowers".
Finally the day of the festival arrived, the streets were full of life, flowers decorated the whole city, a jovial and happy atmosphere was in Frailis but not for me, soon in the morning a message from Traynos arrived, he said that he would not be able to come to the festival, that he was still needed a lot in the battle front. That made me feel a bit upset but Eliza was there to cheer me up and Kiara and Krall were there too, we had formed a good group of friendship, the 4 of us together. The day was very nice, all the people playing, eating and drinking happily, without a doubt it was a day for the history in Frailis but there was still the last and maybe the most important attraction of the festival, the duels...
Many knights faced each other, even several came from other parts of Westxi, this kind of tournaments gave them honor and reputation. A mysterious knight who called himself the Black Knight because of his armor of the same color, swept his rivals, so until the final, against a famous knight of the area called Theor Aldant, the duel was epic, neither of the two gave up until the Black Knight could ensestarle a blow in the chest to his rival and knocked him down, people in the stands and streets shouted euphoric the victory of the mysterious knight, Urodis approached him a beautiful crown made and decorated with flowers. The knight approached to where I was, I was happy to think that my friend Eliza was his chosen one but I was surprised when the knight put the crown of flowers to me, then he took off his helmet and it was my hero, Count Jeor Traynos, I quickly went to his arms in a beautiful embrace and he whispered in my ear.
-Lady Jennifer, princess of flowers, forgive me for having lied to you that I was not coming, I wanted to surprise you by winning the tournament for you.
After that we went to the castle with everyone else and together we had dinner and celebrated the success of the festival.
-Listen for a second! Said the count as he raised his glass.
-I want to make a last toast to Urodis, Frailis and its new inhabitants. Looking at Eliza, Kiara and Krall.
We all toasted and the count said he was going to rest, said goodbye to everyone and gave me a kiss on my cheek.
A few minutes later, Elizabet and Kiara convinced me to go after him. Maybe because of the alcohol or because of love I had the courage to go even though I was blushing.
I knocked on his door saying that it was me and he told me to come in, there he was, I approached him and gently helped him, to the point that I saw on his chest a big scar, he told me that he had won it in a battle against an orc.
The excitement was rising, with only the moonlight illuminating us we joined in kisses and caresses, until we were both completely naked, we spent several hours having sex, but it was different, it was a passionate sex, I felt in ecstasy.

Then on the balcony with my Jeor, we were still hugging and kissing non-stop.
The evening appeared and from the garden Urodis and the others launched luminous balloons into the sky, at that moment Count Jeor Traynos proposed me to become his wife and the Countess of Frailis.
