Chapter 11: Toll

They all sat in silence as the feeling of despair roamed the air.
They all looked at each other with the hope that someone would speak up or wake them up from this nightmare, yet nobody came.
This feeling weighed heavy on their hearts, as without a way back home, who knows how long they will be stuck there for.

Dachi jumped up and began walking off into the distance as Kijiru and Jay were soon to follow.

Fennel sat there with N.57 as there was a odd tension in the air.

“What do we do now?” N.57 said as she sat there playing with the rocks in between her hands.

Just as she said that a ringing noise came from her pocket.

She used her tail to pull out the ear piece, as she put it up to her ear.

“Squadron 1 reporting.” She said.

“Hello Fennel, we have some good news for you! Thanks to some of our scientists in the lab, we have found a method of giving you guys supplies. . . kinda.” Supreme kai stated.

Fennel shot up in high alert as she grinned at N.57.

“Its similar to the ranking system we have here in Conton city, but the rewards transfer over to you while working! Its the best substitute until we find a way out for you guys. . . It will rank the six of you for your hard work and give rewards based on efficiency.” Supreme kai said in an optimistic tone.

“Six? Are you including Snow?” Fennel said with partial confusion.

“No, I'm talking about a new time patroller to help you guys out. His name is Shadow, and he is a Saiyan just like you!” Supreme Kai said.

Just as she said that a blue screen appeared in front of Fennel’s and n.57’s faces.

On the screen was a list of accomplishments, and item rewards, with a ranking in bold.

“Hey Fennel! I got a Z rank! What did you get?” N.57 asked.

Fennel glanced down and noticed the large B in bold.

“I got a B rank. . .” she said with disappointment.

Suddenly besides them spawned in a white bag filled to the brim with different things.

Senzu beans, capsules, and boxes worth of capsuled foods.

“Please Fennel. . . Don’t give up! We’ll find a way to get you guys back in no time!” Supreme Kai said


Keep moving forward, and don’t stray from the trail.
