"If I were to explain it in simple terms, then… when it comes to good and bad, everything comes down to your intention."

Bianca smiled as she pointed to my chest.

"My intention…"

"Of course, this is an oversimplification, but…"

Bianca then explained how the blackening of the heart works. In general, it fits with my assumption that if you sinned, your heart will turn black bit by bit, depending on the weight of your sin.

But Bianca said that if your intention is good, then even if you do acts that could be considered a sin at a glance, the blackening will not happen. On the reverse, if your intention is evil, even if you do good acts like giving to the poor, the blackening will happen. After thinking for a bit, I can understand what she means.

"So that’s what you meant by everything comes down to your intention."

"Right. And it's not something you can't fake either."

"What do you mean?"

"If your real intention for doing something is bad, then hypnotizing yourself or telling yourself over and over that you have good intentions would not change the fact that your intention was bad. It's not something you can control."

"I see… I think I understand."

If that's the case, then it wouldn't be impossible for me to have a pure heart. However, I'm not aware of it myself.

"Then, let's do it. Please teach me your aura."

"Are you sure? You haven't even heard about the Dragon Lord's aura in details yet."

"Yes. I'm certain."

"Hngh…! I knew it. My disciple loves his teacher too much, hehe. Ah! But, just in case, please listen to the Lord's aura too and decide, okay?"

She then explained the Dragon Lord's aura training method. This training method focused on increasing the amount of aura itself and had the lighting attribute. It's a very straightforward training method because the more aura you have, the stronger you become.

"I see."

Certainly, it fits my fighting style and needs. I also like how it had the lightning attribute. Despite being slower than light and more volatile than all other elements, lightning is the strongest attribute. Monsters are generally weaker to lightning than they are to light. 

The biggest drawback of the lighting attribute is its massive aura consumption. Still, since the Dragon Lord's training method covered even that, it's the perfect training method for the lightning attribute. 

In summary, if I want efficiency and light, I should choose Bianca's aura. If I want effectiveness and lightning, I should choose the Dragon Lord's aura.

Of course, since the creators of both methods were legendary beings like dragons, their effect was undoubtedly one of the best in the world. So, there is no wrong choice here. Which is why I'm feeling troubled.

"It's hard to choose one…"

"Right? That's why I'm troubled too."

Both of them are really good in their own way. Then, as I think about both aura again and who this body belongs to, I couldn't help but tilt my head.

"Do I even have to choose between the two?"

"Yes?"

"I mean, they complement each other so well. It's not like they are direct opposites like fire and ice either. So, can't I simply learn both?"

"Well, I'm not saying you can't. But if you carelessly learn more than one aura training method, the rate at which your aura level increases will be slow. No one has ever learned both of these auras at once, either, so there might be side effects we don't know yet. Furthermore, either of these auras is much harder to master than ordinary aura." 

"That is fine."

It's way better to have a strong foundation than rushing up to the next level when it comes to aura. So a slow learning speed is not a big deal for me.

"But, but… There is a chance that your body will break down, you know?"

"Isn't it fine to just regenerate if my body broke down?"

"Eh?"

"?"

Why is she looking at me like that? It's not like I said anything wrong, right? With Raon's absurd gift, even learning opposite auras might be possible. So what about auras that complement each other so well like this?

'It's not impossible.'

Anyway, despite getting scolded about this and that and even being told I should take better care of my body, I persevered in learning both. So Bianca reluctantly allowed me to learn both auras. Despite all the scolding, I only smiled because I knew she said everything because she was worried about me.

"I will do anything you want."

Bianca's eyes trembled.

Yes. Let's leave future problems to my future self. After saying such irresponsible things in my mind, we began preparing to leave the lair. 

In the meantime, Bianca helped me with many things, such as opening my aura veins to make it easier for me to learn even without her and advising me on what to do in the outside world.

And that's how I spent my day and parted ways with Bianca. From now on, it was time for adventure.
