So what is this medicine? Why is the information being censored like this?

"Uh… Teacher."

"What is this?"

"It's a medicine to help me find you even if we're separated by a thousand miles away."

So that's what the scent-producing effect is for.

"But what about the ingredients? Why are they censored like this?"

A medicine was supposed to be good for you, right?

Bianca smiled weakly, then opened the hidden area in the cave.
