“Do you like it?” Suddenly a voice came from her side . Jing Yue turned around and saw Helian Xiu coming . Pointing at that house, Helian Xiu said with deep attachment in his eyes, “Its style of architecture is from Bei Mu Country, where you can see this kind of houses everywhere . ”

“Bei Mu Country? How could such a house of their style exist here?” Jing Yue was confused for a second and turned to Helian Xiu, “Are you from Bei Mu Country?”

“Your Highness!” A man hurried to them before Helian Xiu could answer her question . The man knelt before Helian Xiu and said, “He’s here already, and we failed to stop him . ”

“Well, I know . You can withdraw now . ” Helian Xiu waved his hand indifferently, then turned to Jing Yue and said, “You lose . ”

“What?! Xiao Chen has really come?!” Jing Yue was shocked by the fact . How could Xiao Chen not know the purpose of Helian Xiu while even she, not as clever as him, could penetrate it? Why did he still choose to come if he had known Helian’s trap in advance?

Jing Yue was immersed in thinking about these questions when suddenly a man was thrown into flowers shrubs heavily, crushing down all flowers under him . Jing Yue felt distressed for these flowers . How unlucky were these pretty flowers to be crushed so violently?

“Jing Yue . ” A dark figure moved close to her quickly like a ghost, and took her into his arms before Jing Yue could see his face .

Jing Yue was almost short of breath by the tight holding . “Xiao Chen . . . ” Having recognized the familiar scent, Jing Yue grabbed the front of his robe and called his name softly .

“Are you all right?” Xiao Chen looked her up and down to check if she was injured . After ascertaining that she was uninjured at all, he sighed with relief, hands still holding her waist tight . Xiao Chen glared fiercely at Helian Xiu who was standing nearby .  

“It’s so difficult to invite Ninth Imperial Uncle here . ” Helian Xiu said . Seeing Xiao Chen so protective toward Jing Yue, Helian Xiu smiled evilly with his eyes darkened and the red mole under his one eye shining in the sun .   

What a tempting devil!

Jing Yue was exclaiming in her mind .

“Helian Xiu, I would be willing to send you to Bei Mu Country if you are tired of Dong Qing country . ” The imposing aura of Xiao Chen even brought shock to others’ heart . .

“I am so surprised that you should intrude into my quiet house and threaten me for her . Well, it seems that our Ninth Imperial Uncle finally has a weakness?!” Helian Xiu stared at Xiao Chen and said in a teasing voice as if he had found something very funny .

“You are wrong . She is not my weakness but my bottom line . ” Holding Jing Yue tight, Xiao Chen looked at Helian Xiu and refuted with a cold smile, “I promise I will massacre all inhabitants of Bei Mu Country if you dare to hurt her a little bit!”

“You…” Helian Xiu, whose face suddenly went pale, peered into Xiao Chen’s cold and black eyes with fear . Those arrogant words were said by Xiao Chen again which he had heard once long before . The man of whom all four countries were afraid seemed to be awakening slowly .

“You’d better behave yourself,” said Xiao Chen in a cold voice . Holding Jing Yue tight, he flew away swiftly .

Leaning against Xiao Chen’s chest, Jing Yue couldn’t stop her heart beating wildly . What Xiao Chen just said kept echoing in her brain . Had she become the weakness of Xiao Chen?

Why was Xiao Chen willing to risk his life to save her—this nobody to him?
