Beastly Fēi that Go Against the Heaven: Coerced by the Huáng Shū Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Born Different Pupils, Evil Star

In the pitch-black sky lightning as white as snow ripped across the rain, the sound of thunder came, yet the stifling feel of summer kept increasing, making people unable to breath.

Tonight under the curtain of rain, there wasn’t peace at all inside the Dong Qing country’s Prime Minister’s residence; the sound of weeping infant pierced the night sky. Inside the Prime Minister’s residence a burst of chaotic voices could be heard, under the curtain of rain a man and a woman were surrounded by numerous guards.

“Jing Zhan, hand over that demoness right now!” A middle age man imposingly shouted; that splendid brocaded clothes in his body demonstrated this man’s distinguished identity, exactly the master of this residence, DongQing’s country’s Prime Minister, Jing TingHe.

“Father! This is my child! Isn’t some kind of demoness!” The two man and woman were surrounded and cornered, the man was handsome and resolute, tightly held the newborn baby in his chest, unyieldingly stared at Jing TingHe.

“Presumptuous! This child is born with different pupils! It’s an evil star!” Jing TingHe glared at the man.

“What bullshit is evil star! Grandmother is growing old, saying such nonsense yet you really believed it, going as far as wanting to kill your own granddaughter!” Jing Zhan’s whole body was trembling; his eyes were filled with despair.

“Husband……” The woman standing closely beside Jing Zhan looked pale, the clothes sticking on her body still had blood from when she gave birth a moment ago,  seemed so weak.

“If you want to take my child’s life, father you just have to step over my dead body first!” Jing Zhan held the baby tightly in his embrace, no longer hesitating, waved the sword in his arm and broke out from the circle of surrounding guards, Jing TingHe furiously chased after him. This night chaos only known by the people of the Prime Minister’s residence; was not at all alarming the world outside.

Fleeing for a full month, Jing Zhan brought his wife and child towards the west region, escaping the border of Dong Qing country, fleeing into the continent’s biggest forest, Luo Man forest. This forest extended for thousands of miles; went over ten mountains, connecting four countries’ borders together, the north border of the forest was Bei Mu country, the south was Nan Li country, and the west was Xi Wu country, while Jing Zhan belonged to the east part of the forest, Dong Qing country.

In the forest border, Jing Zhan’s whole body looked so poor covered in mud, closely watching the woman in front of him and said: “A Yun, you hold our child and hide here; I’ll go over there and lure the pursuing soldiers away.”

One month of fleeing had led the originally handsome and bright man looked pale and exhausted at the moment, the stubble grew on his chin wasn’t get noticed, his whole body looked so poor that it didn’t have the slightest nobility manner left.

“A Zhan, please be careful.” The woman’s body was in plain cotton clothing, eyes sunken, lips pale, which part could show the stunning appearance of the woman in the former days? The baby in her embrace tightly closed her eyes; her face was vaguely green, slightly wrinkled her eyebrows, it seemed that she was extremely unwell.

“Wait for me to come back.” Jing Zhan kissed the woman’s forehead, no longer lingering, picked up his sword and went towards the forest’s border without hesitation.

The woman tremblingly stood up, with one hand holding the baby and one hand leaning on the tree she walked into the forest; finally she heard shouts coming from behind her. The woman’s heart was frightened, she looked around and found a hole on the ground; deeply watching the baby in her embrace, she put the child into the hole, softly whispered: “YuèEr, you must continue to live well.”

That woman’s tears fell as she spoke; taking off the jade bead tied on her neck, she raised her hand to put the jade bead on the baby’s body, her eyes filled with tenderness but also reluctance. Listening to the shouts behind her that seemed increasingly close, she no longer hesitate, swiftly gathering the weeds and dried leaves on the side to cover the hole, she brought a bundle of the baby’s fur robe away.

Those shouts and noise behind her seemed to get nearer and nearer, while she was chased to an edge of a cliff. The woman hold the fur robe in her embrace tightly, pretended that there was still a baby in her embrace; gazing at those guards that came to surround her, the woman tearfully spoke: “Child, mother wronged you.”
